American Workers' Day of Protest

The illegal alien problem just keeps making me madder and madder. The senate's latest treasonous immigration bill, which is forging ahead despite the overwhelming objection of the American people, is the newest slap in the face to us, the real, born and bred--and naturalized!--Americans. I'm sick and tired of the way we are spat on, insulted, called names ("racist" being the favorite one), or just ignored as totally unimportant yahoos. I'm sick and tired of the shameless groveling to illegals by spineless, psuedoAmerican politicians more concerned with being seen as anti-racist than with serving their country and the people who elected them. And most of all, I'm sick and tired of the constant insinuation that illegal aliens (IAs) are the only people in America who work.

I work!!!!! I get up every morning at 7 o'clock, get to my job at 8, put in 7 to 8 hours taking care of other people's children, then drive home at 6 and hope my car doesn't die on me on the way. Hundreds of millions of Americans do the same thing every day of the week. We, not foreigners who break into our country like thieves in the night, are the backbone of this nation's economy. Yet we're constantly and deliberately dissed by the supporters of illegals who apparently think that trashing us and aggrandizing IAs establishes their anti-racist and compassion credentials.

I'm tired of all of this and I have an idea on what to do about it. I first wrote about this idea on my now-discontinued blog Planet RA! last year, but yesterday I heard a talk radio host saying much the same thing. My idea for sending a message to the arrogant powers-that-be is a general strike.

I don't mean the usual general strike where you don't go to work. That can come later if the politicians don't listen to us. Instead, I mean an economic strike. I want every true American to not shop in any store for an entire weekend. You read right: no shopping from Friday night to Sunday night. This economic strike will be the first salvo in an ongoing war if we, the people, are not heard and taken seriously. But why, you may ask, should we strike against businesses when the problem is with politicians? Answer: because most, if not all, of our politicians are beholden to business lobbyists who want cheap labor more than air.

The reason so many "conservative" Republicans support the senate's monstrous bill is because business owns them. They have to give business what it wants, the people be damned. And business believes that its profits come from hiring cheap labor. That's where you and I come in. By not buying a thing for one entire weekend we will send business the message that its profits depend on us buying their products and not on their employment of cheap labor. And if business gets that message, the politicians will, too.

Some might think that this is a bad idea because it will hurt Americans. No, it won't. This economic strike is not about destroying the businesses of fellow Americans. This is not a boycott. Rather, it's a short term, dramatic action designed to make the big shots in Washington listen to us. If they don't listen to us, then more prolonged actions will be needed, but those can be decided on if the need arises. Right now, we need an act that everyone can do without depending on activists to organize everything. It doesn't take an organizer to show people how to not shop. Just don't do it. Don't go out to eat; don't go to the grocery store; don't go to the video store; don't go to Walgreens. DON'T SHOP!!!!! When CEOs see empty stores and restaurants and start to hear their profits going down the drain they'll understand who're the legs on which they stand. It's me and it's you, not Jose from Tijuana.

I think a good weekend to do this strike is July 13-15, the second weekend after July 4. That will allow time for this plan to be spread around the country. Also, it'll let people prepare for the protest by doing things like cooking a lot of food up ahead of time so they'll have "fast" food for the protest weekend. People can also plan alternatives to the usual weekend entertainment, like checking out videos from the library instead of renting them from Blockbuster (or better yet, not watching tv at all).

For this protest to work, the American people have to actually do it. It's easy to blow off steam on talk radio or send your senator an e-mail, but to do something that may require sacrifice, however small, seems to be the American people's Achilles' heel. If we don't do this, or something else, the politicians will keep on listening to the special interest groups and ignoring us yokels and rednecks. We MUST do this! We MUST make them hear us! Our great nation's future depends on it.

Letter to My Father

Dear Daddy,

I can't believe that this is my second Father's Day without you. I can't believe you've been gone for over two years. I miss you so much, Daddy. I miss your quiet presence in my life. I miss your sense of humor. I miss your unconditional acceptance of me. I miss the way you used to address me as "my dear" and how you were the only person in the family to call me by my middle name. I miss you and I'm sorry for not telling and showing you how much I loved you when you were alive.

Daddy, our family was horribly dysfunctional and I blamed you for it for much of my life. You dealt with that by retreating into your passion for jazz. As a child, and even into my adulthood, I saw your commiment to your music as utter selfishness. One of my deepest regrets now is that I didn't understand the joy you got from your music or come to appreciate your awesome talent until well into your senior years. By then we had only a few years left to get to know each other.

I understand now, Daddy, how important your music was to you. I know now that it was more than just a talent; it was your calling. Playing jazz was what you were meant to do with your life, and I'm so sorry that you didn't have the family support you needed and deserved. Neither your mother, your wife, nor your children stood by you and applauded you as you pursued your dream of becoming a successful jazz musician. Instead, you were berated, mocked, or just ignored. That must have been so painful to you, Daddy. No wonder you spent so much time away from home.

Daddy, I apologize to you from the bottom of my heart for all the pain I caused you when you were here. I apologize for not trying to understand you sooner. Daddy, I know you knew that I, along with my brother and sister, was brainwashed against you by Mom. It wasn't hard for her to do, since you were gone so much. Children naturally acquire the feelings and attitudes of the person who's with them the most. I think you realized that Daddy, and I've long thought that that was the reason why you didn't try harder to reach out to us kids even after we'd grown up. I think you felt guilty for not being there when we needed you and that the "benign" indifference with which we treated you for so long was deserved.

But it wasn't deserved! Mom may have turned us against you but once we were grown we had a duty to get to know you, to find out your point of view, your feelings, your wants, your needs. In short, we had a duty to recognize that you were a human being as well as our father. Shortly after you died Daddy, Mom told me that you once told her that you wanted to be needed. That broke my heart. When ever I think about it, I cry. I cry because, until that moment, Daddy, I'd never considered your needs. I made my decision to get to know you for myself, not for you. I wanted to see you through my own lens, not Mom's. It never entered my mind that you might need me to see you through YOUR lens, to know you on YOUR terms. When Mom told me what you'd said, I realized that even when I thought I was doing my best toward you I was still treating you like an object. Daddy, I am so, so sorry!

I did get to know you, though, Daddy, and that's a good thing. We didn't have a lot of good years together but I'm so grateful for the ones we had. I'm grateful for the time we spent together when I drove you to your job at the senior citizens' center. We talked a lot on those drives and my eyes were opened to your kindness and decency. I'm grateful I got to see you enjoy your first great-grandchild. I'm grateful I got to appreciate your wonderful musical talent. I'm even grateful for the time we spent together when you were in the hospital fighting cancer. In the end Daddy, I came to realize that, between you and Mom, you were the better person. Your kindness, gentleness, sincerity and, above all, your loving acceptance of people "as is" are qualities I wish I had in the quantity you did. You may not have been the best father, Daddy, but you were an awesome human being. I LOVE YOU!!!!! Happy Father's Day and rest in peace!

Fuhrer Chavez Strikes Again

Apparently not satisfied with the emergency powers given to him by his handpicked legislature, Venezuela's communist dictator Hugo Chavez moved Sunday to silence all dissent by closing the only independent national tv station left in the country. But to the surprise of the tyrant and the delight of freedom lovers every where, the Venezuelan people instantly rose up against this blatant act of tyranny.

All over the country Venezuelans from all walks of life took to the streets to oppose dictatorship and demand democracy. According to the last news cast I watched, at least one protestor for freedom had been killed. This did not stop the protests, though. Sickened by their country's slide into socialist autocracy, Venezuelans are determined that Hugo Chavez hear their voices. They are loudly speaking truth to his communist power.

The only place there was silence about Chavez's dictatorial act was Hollywood. Never at a loss for words when it comes to trashing America, Tinseltown's communist sympathizing A-listers were tight-lipped on Hugo's latest move. Apparently not wanting to jeapordize his multi-million dollar movie deal with Hugo, Danny Glover couldn't be reached for comment on his friend's actions. Chevy "Socialism works" Chase didn't have time to explain if shutting down opposition media is what he meant by socialism working. Oliver Stone, Michael Moore, and Steven Spielberg were conveniently unavailable. Rosie O'Donnell was holed up in her multi-million dollar home writing nasty blogs against Elizabeth Hasselbeck, and Sean Penn was too busy blaming America for suicide bombings in Iraq to even notice what happened in Venezuela. If only the Maliki government had shut down an oppositon tv station! Then we could hear the Hollywood Left's make-your-flesh-crawl screeching that we know so well.

Hollywood liberals' deafening silence in the face of Chavez's blatant and indefensible act of tyranny actually speaks volumes about their true beliefs and values, and their utter disconnect from reality. Having spent the last six years trying to make a tyrant out of George W. Bush, they've completely lost the ability, even the desire, to recognize and condemn real tyrants. And they think that makes them intellectually brillant, not to mention morally superior. Meanwhile, the truly morally superior folks are marching against dictatorship in the streets of Venezuela. They have my heartfelt support and Hollywood has my heartfelt contempt.

Immigration Fraud

Like all Americans I've been listening to the "debate" on the Senate's new immigration reform bill and I'm sick of it, the bill, not the debate. Our great and wise "leaders" in Washington must think we, the American people, are SOS: stuck on stupid. HOW DARE THEY TRY TO FOIST THIS FRAUD ON US AGAIN!!!!!!!!! The current bill is just a rehashing of the 1986 bill which promised enforcement but delivered hordes of more illegals into our country, which was probably the bill's real intent.

When it comes to illegal immigration I no longer trust any mainstream politician except for Tom Tancredo. All the rest have sold out America's sovereignty in order to please and appease illegal aliens (IAs) and their pseudo-American enablers and to establish their "anti-racist" credentials, which means way more to them than patriotism. They have, in fact, ceased to be Americans, revealing with every move they make that they are now post-Americans more committed to the world than to the USA. Blame America First is their guiding principle and they follow it religiously, making sure that only America, and never IAs themselves, are faulted for illegal immigration.

The complete and utter contempt these politicians show for the feelings and wishes of the Americans who elected them is staggering. I cannot grasp how they sleep at night. We, the American people, don't want foreign nationals breaking into our country like thieves in the night and then getting rewarded for it, period. We elected certain people to office to stop this invasion and instead they've joined it. Their ears are cocked only toward the anti-American, pro-IA special interest groups and are stone deaf to the American electorate, which has no special interest group looking out for it.

I can only pray that this latest immigration monstrosity will be shot down like the fraud that it is. I, and all real Americans, want America's borders defended, her culture protected, and her laws respected. That doesn't make us racist or heartless; it makes us patriotic, and it makes us sane.

Where Have All The Heroes Gone?

While watching The O'Reilly Factor and the Glenn Beck Show last night I saw something very disturbing. Both programs aired video of a 20 something thug beating a 91-year-old WWII veteran to a pulp and then stealing his car. And what was even worse was that there were several people, apparently all men, just standing around watching the crime take place. Not one of them tried to help the defenseless vet.

I was sickened when I saw this. How could those people just mill around while an elderly person was being carjacked and beaten in broad daylight? Sure, they might have feared for their own safety, but the definition of a hero is someone who helps someone else regardless of his own safety. Obviously, there are no heroes left in America anymore. The victim of this brutal crime is among the last of a nearly dead breed: the Greatest Generation that had grit and character and saved this country from fascism only to see, in their waning years, the complete moral collapse of the society they fought so bravely to defend. What a sad way to end their days.

Where have all the heroes gone? Like the old soldiers, they've faded away...or they've been beaten into oblivion by Gen X thugs too lazy and greedy to work for a living. And I fear for the future of America.

Virginia Tech Conspriracy

The massacre at Virginia Tech on Tuesday was horrible. Words fail me in trying to describe just how horrible it was, but when I first heard about it I didn't feel horror, anger, or even sadness. Instead, what came to my mind was something that I'd thought about many times before, something that seems a little crazy but just might have a grain of rationality to it; I thought: conspriracy.

What do I mean by "conspriracy"? Well, I asked myself, who benefits from this tragedy? Who benefits every time some devil in human form goes on a shooting rampage? Liberals, that's who. The only people who gain anything from horrors like the one at Virginia Tech are liberals who want a TOTAL ban on the private ownership of firearms.

This isn't a new idea for me. As I said above, I've had this idea in my mind for a long time. I thought about it when Columbine and other school shootings occurred in the '90's. I thought about it when the Long Island train killer slaughtered helpless passengers in the '80's. I thought about it when a nut job massacred diners in a Luby's restaurtant in Killeen, TX. I thought about it when another nut job shot down innocent customers at a MacDonald's in San Ysidro, CA. And most recently, I thought about it when that monster murdered those sweet Amish school girls in Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania. Every time a shooting happened I thought, liberals are loving this.

The left-wing gun grabbers know they can't win over the American people by openly declaring their intentions. Instead, they have to rely on a scared, angry, emotionally vulnerable public to
support their "sensible" gun restrictions. And what better way to make the public scared, angry, and emotionally vulnerable than by staging mass shootings at regular intervals? I know that sounds far-fetched, to say the least, but again I ask, who benefits from these killings?

Am I saying that left-wing activists commit these shootings or recruit others to do so? Not exactly, but I'm not not saying that, either. I just know these "random" acts of violence are quite handy for advancing one of liberals' favorite causes. And I know it's very convenient that the shooters almost always end up dead before the police can question them. If the killers were fanatical, gun-hating, liberal activists convinced that shooting dozens of innocent people served a greater good, or just violent criminals recruited by said activists, making sure they ended up dead would make it pretty hard to connect the dots, wouldn't it? Add to that a liberal, anti-gun media that wouldn't even begin to ask such questions, and you've got the perfect storm of a conspiracy.

So if anther "depressed loner" or "scorned lover" opens fire on innocent Americans, stop and think. The crime might not be what it seems. But don't expect the powers that be to tell you that. They've got too much to gain from people dying in the streets.

Get Tammy Bruce on "The View" NOW!!!

I'm sick of Tokyo Rosie. Like all true American patriots, I'm appalled at the vicious and psychotic anti-Bush, anti-British, and anti-American rants that have poured from her mouth the last several weeks. That woman--I use the term loosely--is the epitome of a fifth columnist, the traitor that works for the enemy from within, sabotaging his/her nation's ability and/or willingness to defend itself so victory will go to its foes.

Rosie O'Donnell--did I spell her last name right? Hell, I don't care!--shouldn't be silenced, of course, no matter how dangerous and hateful she is. No, what Rosie needs is to go head to head with a real patriot, an American who believes that America (and all of Western civilization) is worth defending and who understands that today's true evil is in radical Islam, not George W. Bush.

Some people have suggested that Ann Coulter should go on "The View" to counter Tokyo Rosie. I understand that, but I think that a better opponent for ABC's resident terrorist sympathizer is author and radio talk show host Tammy Bruce.

Why Bruce? Because Bruce is a liberal. Like Rosie she is a pro-choice, feminist lesbian who disagrees with many of President Bush's ideas. Unlike Rosie, Tammy Bruce loves her country and hates its enemies. She is a thowback to the completely forgotten tradition of patriotic, pro-American liberalism. Bruce could tackle Rosie without anyone accusing her of being a hate-mongering conservative. If Coulter went on "The View" everything she said would be dismissed as the ravings of a mad Republican. Not so with Bruce; she has the credibility that Coulter doesn't have.

So I think all true patriots should contact ABC and demand that Tammy Bruce be booked on "The View" for one week. Let a real American give Ms. O'Donnell something she currently doesn't have: a real challenger.

The Demon Cancer

I was totally saddened when I heard on the news that Elizabeth Edwards, wife of presidential candidate John Edwards, and White House press secretary Tony Snow both have suffered recurrences of their cancer.

I'd actually been wondering how Elizabeth Edwards was doing. I figured she was doing fine since her husband had decided to run for president again. Boy, was I wrong. And I was wrong about Tony Snow, too. He seemed the picture of health. I remember Mr. Snow proudly proclaiming himself cancer free when he was first chosen to be White House press secretary, and now we find out that not only has his cancer returned, it's spread to his liver. Ms. Edwards' cancer has spread also, to her bones.

I don't care what Ms. Edwards' or Mr. Snow's political, religious, or social beliefs are. My heart goes out to both of them and their families. I've seen two beloved family members die painful deaths because of this demon called cancer and I feel that you can't have anything but sympathy for anyone stricken with this killer. Elizabeth Edwards and Tony Snow are in my prayers. Please put aside your partisan differences and put them in yours, too.

The other day, my nine-year-old son wanted to know why we were at war. My husband looked at our son and then looked at me. My husband and I were both in teh Army during the Gulf War and we would be honored to serve and defend our Country again today. I knew that my husband would give him a good explanation.

My husband thought for a few minutes and then told my son to go stand in our front living room window. He said, "son, stand there and tell me what you see."

"I see trees and care and our neighbor's houses," he replied.

"OK. Now I want you to pretend that our house and yard is the United States of America and you're President Bush." Our son giggled and said, "OK."

"Now, son, I want you to look out the window and pretend that every house and yard on this block is a different country," my husband said. "OK Dad, I'm pretending."

"Now I want you to stand there and look out the window and pretend you see Saddam come out ot his house with his wife. He has her by the hair and is hitting her. You see her bleeding and crying. He hits her in the face, throws her on theground, then starts kicking her to death. Their children run out and are afraid to stop him; they are screaming and crying. They are watching this but do nothing because they're kids and they're afraid of their father. You see all of this. Son, what do you do?"

"Dad?"

"What do you do, son?"

"I'd call the police, Dad."

"OK. Pretend that the police are the United Nations. They take your call. They listen to what you know and saw but they refuse to help. What do you do then, son?"

"Dad.....but the police are supposed to help!" My son starts to whine.

"They don't want to, son, because they say that it's not their place or your place to get involved and that you should stay out of it," my husband says.

"But Dad....he killed her!" my son exclaims.

"I know he did, but the police tell you to stay out of it. Now I want you to look out that window and pretend you see our neighbor who you're pretending is Saddam turn around and do the same thing to his children."

"And Daddy...did he kill them, too?"

"Yes, son, he did. What do you do?"

"Well, if the police don't want to help, I will go and ask my next door neighbor to help me stop him," our son says.

"Son, our next door neighbor sees what is happening and refuses to get involved as well. He refuses to open the door and help you stop him," my husband says.

"But Dad, I NEED help!!! I can't stop him by myself!!"

"WHAT DO YOU DO, SON?"

Our son starts to cry.

"OK, no one wants to help you. The man across the street saw you ask for help and saw that no one would help you stop him. He stands taller and puffs out his chest. Guess what he does next, son?"

"What, Daddy?"

"He walks across the street to the old lady's house and breaks down her door and drags her out, steals all of her stuff and sets her house on fire and then...he kills her. He turns around and sees you standing in tehwindow and laughs at you. WHAT DO YOU DO NOW, SON?"

"Daddy...."

"WHAT DO YOU DO?"

Our son is crying. He looks down and whispers, "I'd close the blinds, Daddy."

My husband looks at our son with tears in his eyes and asks him, "Why?"

"Because Daddy...the police are supposed to help people who need them and they won't help. You always say that neaighbors are supposed to HELP neighbors, but they won't help either. They won't help me stop him. I'm afraid. I can't do it by myself, Daddy. I can't look out my window and just watch him do all these terrible things and do nothing so...I'm just going to close the blinds so I can't see what he's doing and I'm going to pretend that it's not happening."

That's when I started to cry.

My husband looks at our nine-year-old son standing in the window, looking pitiful and ashamed at his answers to his Daddy's questions and he says, "Son."

"Yes, Daddy."

"Open the blinds because that man is at your front door. WHAT DO YOU DO?"

My son looks at his father, anger and defiance in his eye. He balls up his tiny fists andlooks his father square in eyes and without hesitation says, "I DEFEND MY FAMILY, DAD!! I'M NOT GONNA LET HIM HURT MOMMY OR MY SISTER, DAD!! I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM, DAD!! I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM!!!!"

I see a tear roll down my husband's cheek. He grabs our son and, hugging him tightly to his chest, says, "I'ts too late to fight him, son. He's too strong and he's alread at YOUR front door. You should have stopped him BEFORE he killed his wife, his children, and the old lady across the street. You have to do what's right, son, before it's too late, even if you have to do it alone," my husband whispers. "Son, the scenario I just gave you is why we are at war with Iraq. When good men stand by and let evil happen, THAT is the greatest atrocity in the world. YOU MUST NEVER BE AFRAID TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALONE!"


BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!! BE PROUD OF OUR TROOPS!! SUPPORT THEM!! SUPPORT AMERIC SO THAT IN THE FUTURE OUR CHILDREN WILL NEVER HAVE TO CLOSE THEIR BLINDS!!


This should be printed in every newspaper and posted in every school in America. Of course, that won't happen so let's fly this over the Internet for the whole word to understand why we fight for freedom!

If your blinds are closed do nothing with this e-mail. If they are open I do not need to tell you what to do.

This song popped into my head yesterday while I was playing classical music for my babies' nap time. Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" was on and almost instantly the above tribute to our troops emerged in my mind. I know it sounds quite martial, but it's an ode to our fighting men and women, not to Jane Fonda and her crowd. Let me know what you think of it. I may write other songs for America inspired by my favorite music, classical and otherwise.

Stupid Word Games

Hey America, there's a new dirty word in our version of the English language and you better learn it fast before you use it on someone and then get walloped by the pc language police. The word is "articulate". Horrors!

Actually, articulate is bad only if you use it on a Black American. You see, calling Blacks articulate is condescending according to Black critics of Sen. Joe Biden and President Bush, who both described Sen. Barack Obama with the offensive word. Biden actually went one better than Bush and called Obama clean as well as articulate. The racist fiend! Gee, I would never have guessed that saying someone is clean and a good speaker, which is what "articulate" essentially means, was such a horrible thing. I guess I must not be Black enough to get it.

So here's what Bush, Biden and other Whites should say about Obama (and other prominent Blacks) in order to stay out of trouble: "Barack Obama is a dumb, dirty, ugly, thuggish, drug using, liberal, jungle bunny." There, "articulate" is no where in sight. Happy now?

Fuhrer Chavez

Here's one for all those loony leftists who've spent the last six years trying to make a tyrant out of Bush.

A couple of days ago Venezuelan leader and liberal darling Hugo Chavez was granted the power to rule by decree by the Venezuelan legislature which is stacked with Chavez's friends and cronies. To those who don't know, rule by decree means that Chavez can make any law he wants, no questions asked. Who's acting like Hitler now, Jay Bennish?

Of course, Bennish, Cindy Sheehan, Danny Glover, Harry Belafonte and all the rest of the Hugo-worshiping, Bush-hating cabal won't make a fuss about this turn of events. In fact, I'm sure they'll be on the tv soon offering all kinds of Orwellian rationales for Chavez's dictatorial power grab. What they'll most likely point out the most is that Chavez's rule by decree is only supposed to last 18 months. But if Fuhrer Chavez can make any law he wants, why not make one giving himself emergency powers indefinitely? That's the way tryants operate.

What tyrants don't do is allow the opposition party to win control of the legislature. And tyrants don't allow their citizens to criticize their policies. And tyrants don't allow anti-government newspapers to publish. And tyrants don't allow opposition bloggers to operate freely. And tyrants don't allow their people to travel abroad, criticize them, then return home with no fear of arrest, or worse. Tyrants don't do any of those things. All of these things are going on under President Bush as I write, yet Bush is "the world's greatest tyrant", according to Belafonte.

A part of me hopes that Chavez will crack down murderously on his people. No, I don't want to see Venezeulans suffer, but I fear that that will be the only thing that'll shake the loony leftists out of their Chavez-adoring stupor and bring them back to reality. On the other hand, other tyrants like Castro, Ho Chi Minh, Che, and Stalin remained--and still remain-- gods to the left in spite of the blood dripping from their hands. Obviously, "tyrant" means something very different to leftist ideologues than it does to normal people. So I guess we'd better get used to the cries of "Heil Hugo!" that will soon be echoing on the streets of Venezuela and San Francisco.

Merry Christmas...and Computer Snafus!

Hey everybody! I just wanted to wish all my readers a very merry Christmas and a wonderfully blessed New Year. Also, I've been having some real problems getting on the library's computer lately, so I've been posting even more irregularly than usual. I apologize.

I've had it with using the library computer! Come the new year I'm going to bite the bullet and get me a laptop and wireless internet service. It'll cost some money I know, but being able to post on my blogs--and surf the net--when I want to will be worth it. You'll know when I get my laptop--I'll be posting everyday!!!!

Under Assault Again

Western culture is under assault again. The latest attack on our culture came over the weekend when the Seattle airport removed all of its 14 Christmas trees rather than also put up a menorah to recognize Hannukah, as asked by a rabbi. Airport officials claimed that they removed the Christmas trees because they feared that if they put up a menorah other religious groups would ask that their symbols be displayed, too. Rather than having the courage to stand for Western culture and its Judeo-Christian religious heritage, the officials caved in to anti-Western, anti-Christian, anti-semitic multiculturalism.

If the airport officials in Seattle had decided to display other religions' symbols in addition to those of Christianity and Judaism, that would've been fine. However, if the officials had decided to NOT display other religions' symbols while keeping the Christmas trees and the menorah, that would've been fine, too. The problem is that in our politically correct, multiculturalist world very few people would understand why. Here's why.

Christianity is the religious heritage of Western civilization, including America. Hindus didn't build Western civilization. Bhuddists didn't build Western civilization. Muslims didn't build Western civilization. Christians built Western civilization. The display of Christmas trees at Christmas time is, therefore, totally appropriate. The display of menorahs is also appropriate because Judaism gave us Christianity and helped to build the West in an indirect way. Putting up symbols of Christianity and Judaism for all to see is not only a show of holiday spirit but also a celebration of Western culture. There's no need to celebrate religions that had nothing to do with creating that culture.

Yes, we have freedom of religion in America and all other Western countries. But freedom of religion doesn't require that we Westerners deny or disown our own heritage. In Western lands non-Christians and non-Jews have absolute religious freedom; they should just understand that their faiths had nothing to do with building the civilization in which they now live. So when they see us Westerners celebrating our religious heritage in our own countries, while not celebrating theirs, they have no right to be offended. After all, they're in the West. And that's not politically correct, but it's the plain truth.

Hey McCommas! I just wanted to say "Thank you!" for the encouraging words you wrote in your comments to my "The Election" post. You're right, losing an election isn't the end of the world and may even be a good thing if we conservatives/Republicans learn from our mistakes and return to our fundamental values. I hope you're right that Bush will veto any attempt by the Dems to raise taxes and that if he does the Republicans will have the votes to prevent a Dem override. I also like your idea about writing a letter to the editor once a month. Actually, I've thought about writing a whole op/ed piece for my local paper but, believe it or not, I don't think I write well enough to do that. That's why I blog; I can write on any subject I want, with all the passion I want, without having to worry about writers' guidelines or using perfect English every time, though I do try hard to use correct grammar. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to a fellow soldier in the Cause. Your words meant a lot. :)

The Election

Well, I'm finally getting around to talking about the midterm elections, two weeks late. Sorry! Anyway, the elections went as I expected them to. The Dems won a slim majority in both houses of Congress. Of course, I'm disappointed. I'd hoped that the American voters' thirst for change would be tempered by common sense, but it wasn't. The voters decided to believe that change would automatically be for the better and chose to ignore the Dems' San Francisco values, epitomized by their lust for surrender in Iraq and on our southern border. Bad move.

A part of me can't blame them, though. The Republicans really messed some things up. Most notably they spent like crazy, spending that can't all be attributed to the war. If memory serves, George W. Bush hasn't vetoed a single spending bill since he's been in office, and conservatives are supposed to be for smaller government. And let's not forget Bush's open borders attitude on immigration and his near-total abandonment of the fight against gay marriage, support of which helped to win him re-election in 2004. No wonder the Republicans' base was dissatisfied, to put it mildly.

I, too, was dissatisfied and willing to vote non-Republican, and I did. I did NOT vote Democrat because I don't trust the Dems with neither the safety nor the future of America. No, I voted for independent candidate Kinky Friedman for govenor of Texas. I voted for Kinky because of his strong stance against illegal immigration--he wanted to put 10,000 National Guard on the Texas-Mexico border--and also because he spit in the face of political correctness. It was thrilling and refreshing to see a candidate brave enough to call a spade a spade and offer real solutions to problems without worrying about whom he was offending. Kinky wasn't trying to win the Hispanic vote, or the black vote, or the white vote. He wanted the Texan vote. And he got mine. Unfortunately, Kinky lost his bid for the governorship of the greatest state in the greatest nation, but if he decides to run in 2010 he'll have my vote again.

On the national level I voted Republican because there were no Kinky Friedmans running for those offices. Most of my fellow Americans chose to vote Democrat and now we'll have to spend the next two years dealing with the consequences. Already the Dems' left-wing core is showing. We can expect all kinds of hearings and investigations as the Dems wage war on Bush instead of the terrorists. Blame America first will be the guiding principle of our foreign policy. Any chance of building a fence along our southern border, or doing anything else to curb illegal immigration, is kaput. The economy will slow down as the Dems raise taxes in the name of fairness and part of those tax dollars, no doubt, will be used to pay for public defenders for Gitmo detainees. This is only the beginning of the change you voted for America. I hope you're happy with it.

GUILTY!!!!!!!!

Yesterday former tyrant of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, was found guilty of crimes against humanity and given the death penalty. HALLELUYAH!

All over Iraq people shot guns into the air and danced in the streets to celebrate Saddam getting what he so richly deserved. I know this verdict won't mean that utopia will break out in Iraq but I am hoping that it will be a dash of reality to all the Bush haters of the world.

Even before America invaded Iraq, President Bush was the object of irrational hatred from the international Left. After the Iraq invasion the hatred got even hotter. "Peace activists" here and abroad smeared, and continue to smear, Bush as a terrorist and "the world's greatest tyrant". Clearly these people are totally detached from reality. I'm hoping Saddam's verdict will make them take a cold, hard look at what a real tyrant is and does, and then admit that they're accusations against President Bush are horribly false, the ramblings of distorted, Orwellian minds.

In George W. Bush's America, no one has been imprisoned for attacking the president. Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, Harry Belafonte, Ward Churchill, and Jay Bennish, just to name a few anti-Bush critics, are alive, well, free, and even getting rich(er) and/or famous off of their hatred of the president. Can anyone say the same thing about the critics of Saddam? When did Saddam allow Iraqis to go abroad, call him the world's greatest tyrant, then return to Iraq with absolutely no fear of being harrassed, imprisoned, and/or tortured by the government? When did Saddam allow one of his citizens to buy some property close to one of his palaces and use it has a base to protest against him? Never, and never.

Tyrants don't allow freedom of speech. Tyrants don't allow freedom of association. Tyrants don't allow any second guessing of their policies by any of their citizens. Americans have freedom of speech. Americans have freedom of association. Americans second guess the policies of their government all the time. Yet, according to Harry Belafonte, Bush is the world's greatest tyrant. As I said above, the Bush haters are totally irrational. Hopefully Saddam's verdict will reaquaint them with the real world.

I want to thank Senator John Kerry. I voted early this year and even though I'm a conservative I felt kind of blah voting for Republicans. I've been really disappointed in President Bush on some key issues, most notably illegal immigration, and only voted Republican because I knew the Democratic/liberal alternative would be worse. Well, Senator Kerry showed me just how much worse the Dems/libs really are and made me feel good about voting Republican.

As you all know, Senator Kerry insulted our troops once again--how many times is this guy gonna do this?--and showed everyone willing to see just what the Dems/libs are all about. Liberals/Dems are anti-military and they are anti-victory. For them, the only enemy is George W. Bush and they will do anything, say anything, and support any real enemy of America to bring the President down. That's not just partisan ranting on my part; I sincerely believe it. And for proof, look no further than Senator Kerry's Oct. 30 anti-troop "joke".

I've known for a while that Kerry and the rest of the Dem/lib cabal are anti-military. They've revealed their true feelings for decades. Kerry first made a name for himself slandering our troops as baby killers before Congress in 1971. More recently, he accused them of "terrorizing" Iraqi women and children, and then came his October surprise when he all but called our fighting men stupid, saying that if young people don't study they'll end up in Iraq. I know that the liberal media and blogs are tripping all over themselves trying to spin this remark into something it's not, but I think most Americans now know the truth. Most Americans now see the Dems/libs for what they really are: anti-military, anti-victory, anti-America traitors.

Yes, I called Dems/libs anti-America. Yes, I'm questioning their patriotism. People who slander our troops (John Kerry), call America evil (Cindy Sheehan), and use their power to aid and abet our enemies (Teddy Kennedy) are TRAITORS. Efforts by liberals to whitewash this treason by calling it dissent won't work. A few years ago straight talking Judge Judy wrote a book titled "Don't Pee On My Leg and Tell Me It's Raining". When liberals use their dissent-is-patriotism argument to try to sanitize their anti-American rants, they're peeing on our national leg and calling it rain. And they expect us to be dumb enough to believe them. Well, we're not.

Patriots support their country, love their country, defend their country, pray for their country, and oppose their country's enemies. They don't blame their country first when she gets into a conflict with another nation. They don't rush to believe the worst about their own troops while demanding lawyers for enemy fighters captured on the battlefield. Patriotism means something and in these perilous times we can't afford to take anyone's patriotism for granted. We can't assume that someone's patriotic just because he was born and raised in America. We also can't assume that someone's a patriot just because he's a combat veteran. Just as someone can go to church as a child yet become an atheist as an adult, so too can someone fight for his country in his youth then turn against her years later. It happens; John Kerry and John Murtha are sad proof of that.

So, I'm glad I voted Republican. I now realize more clearly than ever what I was voting against, and I have more hope about what I was voting for. The Republicans are not perfect; they've made a lot of mistakes in Iraq, but at least they have a history of being reliably pro-America. Senator Kerry reminded me of that. Thanks again, John.

Just Stopping By

Hey friends! I just wanted to apologize for not posting in over a week. Things have been so hectic for me lately that I just haven't had the time or the want-to to blog. Hopefully, things should start to quiet down now that a couple of big--big for me, that is-- events that I was working on are now done. Also, I was getting really frustrated at the library computers I have to use. Lately, they've been sooooo slow, and even when they load they can't always pull up the site that I want. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten that "Cannot Find Server" page while trying to pull up Blogger. It makes me want to puke!!!!!!!!! But today the computer I'm on is working great, so maybe the library staff fixed whatever was wrong with their system.

On more thing before I go. I've decided to start a new "column" on PGZ called Musings On.... I came up with this idea because I realized that my posts were becoming more and more political, and I felt I needed to do more posts on "life...and everything else" as it says in PGZ's description. However, since the majority of my posts are political I didn't want non-political posts to be just haphazardly thrown in, with no connection to the news of the day. So I came up with the Musings On... column. This column will be my thoughts on a variety of things that are on my mind and/or heart. I'm going to do this column every Friday. I hope Musings On... will be interesting to my readers. If nothing else, it'll give you a chance to see that I'm not all about politics. I do think about things other than Iraq, elections, and how to fight liberals. I'm not one dimensional. I do have a life (sort of). Musings On... will give you a glimpse of it.

Evil in Nickel Mines

By now everyone who's not living under a rock knows about the horrible massacre of five Amish schoolgirls in Nickel Mines, PA, a week ago Monday. When I first heard the news, I immediately went into denial. It couldn't have been an Amish school, I told myself, the newscast got it wrong. I couldn't believe what I was hearing because the Amish are perhaps the most peaceful and harmless community in America. All they do is farm; who would want to hurt them, especially their children? When the horrible reality finally sank in I got sick to my stomach, and then I got mad.

Only pure evil could do what was done in Nickel Mines. Only a human being totally consumed with evil could go into a school, any school, handcuff the little girl pupils together, then execute them, one by one. We need to get reaquainted with the reality of evil. Almost as soon as the horror unfolded, talking heads were calling Charles Roberts, the killer, "crazy", and a "nut job". Charles Roberts wasn't crazy. He wasn't a nut job; he was evil. Evil. And the sooner we accept that, the better off we'll be.

People don't go into schools and murder the children there because they have guns, as Rosie O'Donnell would have you believe. No, people go into schools and murder the children there because they, the killers, are evil. Our society has spent at least a generation running away from the concept of evil. As we've abandoned God, we've abandoned God's opposite, evil. We now prefer to believe that atrocious acts like the one commited at Nickel Mines must be the product of some deep emotional and/or psychological disturbance in the perpetrator. We also prefer to believe that we can repair this disturbance with "treatment" and eventually release the "cured" monster back into society. That type of thinking is behind the current reluctance of so many judges to put child molesters in jail for any length of time. This type of thinking also leaves us ill prepared to deal with the killers who don't kill themselves, as Charles Roberts did.

The Amish community astonished us "English"--their word for the non-Amish--folks by immediately forgiving Charles Roberts. Some of the family members of the murdered girls even attended Roberts' funeral. Such acts are the result of the deeply Christian Amish culture. The Bible, in the New Testament, tells Christians to not resist evil but to "overcome evil with good". I think the Amish are trying to do that. I don't know if that is really the best way to deal with evil, but at least such a belief acknowledges that evil does, in fact, exist. And in doing that, the Amish are far ahead of us "progressive" English.

Slow Loading

Hey friends! Just wanted to apologize for the long gaps between new posts. As most of you know, I have to blog at the library because I can't set up my computer at home. This situation really sucks. I love to blog and I want to give my readers something new to read daily, but even though I get a lunch break long enough to let me come to the library, sometimes the library's computers take forever to load. So I can spend what seems like half of my time just waiting for Blogger to come up on the monitor. Plus, I also have to look up work related things while I'm online so I can't spend the entire time blogging. Bummer! Well, I just wanted to explain the delay in new postings. Hope you understand. Oh! The Freakin' Torture!

Buried way in the back of my hometown paper was a little blurb about the hideous torture that the evil, wicked, lawless, Bush administration is inflicting on Guantanamo Bay detainees.

It seems that the evil, wicked, lawless Bush administration is breaking the Geneva Conventions and harming Gitmo captives by letting them--oh! I can't even say it!--celebrate Ramadan!!!! Yes, you read it right. The Muslims in Gitmo are being allowed to observe the fast during the "sacred" month of Ramadan. In accordance with the observance, the detainees are getting meals only before sunrise and after sunset. During the day they don't eat or drink anything; I think it's supposed to have something to do with learning spiritual discipline.

Can you imagine?! Damn that son of a Bush! How dare he let those prisoners follow their religion! Get me Human Rights Watch! I want the number to Amnesty International! We've got to put an end to this horror! Where are John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Cindy Sheehan, and Charles Rangel when you need them? Why doesn't The New York Times have every one of its reporters all over this? Why isn't Michael Moore down at Gitmo with his camera to get the evidence on film for future generations? Where, oh where, are all the lovers of human diginity, peace, and freedom?!

I'll tell you where they are. They're hiding under a rock, the hypocrites. Oh yes, they'll complain about prisoners being forced to listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in a cold room, but when it comes to real mistreatment like this, they're silent as church mice. The suffering the detainees are enduring as they practice their faith behind bars must be excruciating. Now I see why liberals hate Bush. Anyone who'd respect the religious rights of terrorists has got to be Hitler reborn. I'm glad I've finally seen the light.

"F" You, Hugo!

Boycott Citgo filling stations. In the wake of Hugo Chavez's Bush-is-the-devil speech before the UN last Tuesday, I'm calling on all patriotic Americans to boycott Venezuelan owned Citgo.

It's time for the American people to get serious with those who mean us harm. Hugo Chavez has allied himself with Iran, Cuba, and probably every other enemy of our country. He's signed some 80 treaties with Iran, including one where Hugo pledges that an attack on Iran will be regarded as an attack on Venezuela. This man deserves not one more US dollar.

Some of you may think that boycotting Citgo is wrong because a lot of Americans work for the company and the boycott will unfairly hurt them. I understand that concern, but we can't let it stop us from doing what needs to be done. Yes, some Americans may get hurt if we stop buying gas from Citgo, but many more Americans may get hurt if we don't stop. As I said, Hugo Chavez is our enemy. He's sided with people who want a world without America. Giving him our dollars so he can use them against us is insane. It'd be better to buy our gas from much-maligned Exxon, at least it's American.

And while we're on the subject, other oil-producing countries besides Venezuela also hate us. We need to seriously curb our entire consumption of oil so as to deprive our enemies of a lucrative income. It's no better for Iran, Saudi Arabia, or Nigeria to get our dollars than it is for Venezuela to get them. So boycotting Venezuela is just a first step in what I hope will be a sea change in how we Americans live a large part of our lives. Hearing Hugo's rank anti-Americanism on national tv hopefully woke a lot of my fellow Americans up. It certainly woke me up and you can rest assured that Hugo has gotten his last dollar from me!

Red Hot Chili Torture

I was watching "The O'Reilly Factor" last night and it was reported that The New York Times(TNYT) is accusing the CIA of torturing some Al Quaeda big shot we've captured. And how did the CIA torture him? They put him in a cold room and made him listen to--gulp!--the Red Hot Chili Peppers! NO!!!!!!!!!! Not the Peppers! Anything but that!!!!!!

Well, the music was played a little loudly. And the room was kinda cold, and the Al Quaeda big shot (don't remember his name and don't care to) did get a little uncomfortable and...cry me a fricking river.

Liberals don't want America to win the war against radical Islam(I no longer call it the war on terror). Face it. Whether it's the ACLU fighting against "profiling", or TNYT outing our wiretapping operation, or some lefty pundit complaining about the word "Islamofascist", liberals have chosen sides, and they're not with US. They're savvy enough, however, not to come right out and admit it. Instead, they hide their aiding and abetting of the enemy behind phony concerns about civil liberties, racism or, as in this case, torture.

C'mon! No one in his right mind believes that putting someone in a cold room and making them listen to rock music is torture. Sure, anyone would find that treatment uncomfortable but being uncomfortable and being tortured are two VERY different things. If you doubt that, think about this.

During the siege of the Branch Davidian compound in 1993, the FBI cut off the electricity and, at night, bombarded the compound with bright lights and loud noises, including tapes of rabbits being killed and Nancy Sinatra singing. I'm sure the Davidians inside the compound, especially the children, were quite uncomfortable. Yet I don't recall a single liberal yelling "Torture!" at the Clinton administration. But wasn't the treatment meted out to the Davidians quite similar to the treatment meted out to the Al Quaeda big shot? Both were made uncomfortable, and isn't being made uncomfortable the Left's working definition of "torture"? Not quite.

The Left's definition of "torture" is: being made uncomfortable by the Bush administration or operatives thereof. You see, it's all political. For liberals the real enemy, the only enemy, is George W. Bush. It's he whom they're at war with and they'll ally themselves with anyone, even Islamic militants who kill Americans, if Bush is their nemesis, too. So screaming "Torture!" is really a weapon liberals are using against their enemy. It has nothing to do with actually being against brutally violent interrogation methods. After all, listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers isn't brutal, no matter how loudly they're played.

A Sorry Tribute

Today is the 5th anniversary of 9/11. I was going to write a nice nonpolitical post just remembering the victims of that horrible attack, then I saw Andy Rooney on 60 Minutes and I got mad as hell. No nonpolitical post today; nope, I'm going to say exactly how I feel about the domestic enemies that are tearing America down.

What got me so riled up? Andy Rooney blamed America for the attacks of five years ago. I'm not lying. At the end of his little commentary he always gives at the end of the show, he said that it might be alright to actually fight those who want to kill us but that it would be better to not behave in ways that make us hated. There you have it. Mr. Rooney might as well have spit on the grave of every victim of 9/11. According to him they, and all Americans, brought the catastrophe on ourselves by acting in ways that displeased the Islamic world.

We are in World War III. Our very survival is at stake. Islamic radicals want nothing less than the end of our civilization and all Andy Rooney and other liberals can do is blame America. That's what they are, the Blame America First cabal. They think that way because they're cowards and because they don't believe America is worth defending. Blaming America for 9/11 absolves these liberals of having to confront the actual killers and protects their pc view of the world, a view in which nonWhite, nonWestern, nonChristian people can't be proactively evil. If they're evil at all it's only to the degree that they've been provoked by us.

Liberals embrace this view because they think it makes them anti-racist, which is far more important to them than patriotism. And frighteningly, they're managing to convert many other Americans to their view. Just a few weeks ago it was revealed that over 30% of Americans now believe that the government either carried out 9/11 or refused to stop it. I was sickened when I heard that. We are in a war for our lives and over a third of the country thinks their own government is the real enemy. That makes me more terrified than I ever was on Sept. 11, 2001.

In the famous poem "In Flanders Fields", the poet urges the reader not to "break faith with us who die". The way to honor the dead, according to the poem, is to continue the fight against the foe. Only then will the dead not have died in vain. Andy Rooney and all his ilk need to read that poignant ode to the fallen of WW I. It tells us exactly what we need to do to honor the fallen of WW III. Sadly, I don't think Mr. Rooney and his Blame America First friends are open to the message of "In Flanders Fields". That's why I fear we may have lost the war already. Some tribute to the dead of 9/11.

On the Offensive

Finally!!!!!! The Bush administration has finally gotten of it's duff and started to go on the offensive against critics of the Iraq war and those who are totally clueless about what the War on Terror is about. It's about time. George W. Bush may be a lot of things but the one thing he's not is a great communicator and he can no longer afford to wait for history to vindicate him. So I'm really glad that he and others in his administration are using the bully pulpit to get out their view.

Donald Rumsfeld really played hardball in his speech a couple of days ago to a veterans' group. Rummy layed it on the line, without pc doublespeak and without apology. He told the vets and the world that America and the rest of civilized humanity are facing a new fascism as dangerous as Naziism, and that those who don't or won't get it are the same kind of appeasers that allowed Hitler to grow so strong it took a world war to stop him. Rumsfeld didn't mince words, and I love him for it.

Of course the Democrats, feeling that Rummy was talking about them, went ballistic. Howard Dean, king of the "anti-war" crowd, claimed that Republicans were just name-calling because they can't defend their policies. And Nancy Pelosi barked that Rummy's remarks prove how badly the Bush administration needs to end. Sniff, sniff.

If the tough words of Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush himself, or anyone else in the administration ticks the Dems off it's because they're true. We ARE in a war for our survival. The Islamists mean to DESTROY us; no amount of negotiations will dissuade them from that goal, just as no amount of negotiatons dissuaded Hitler. Anyone who can't or won't see that is another Neville Chamberlain waving another meaningless "peace of paper" and making another meaningless proclamation of "peace in our time". And Rumsfeld is Winston Churchill reborn, giving the world another dose of cold, hard truth that it doesn't want but desperately needs. I just hope and pray it doesn't take another 50 million dead to make the world wake up and GET IT.

Lou Barletta's ideas are spreading!!!!!

Farmer's Branch (FB), a suburb of Dallas, TX (if my geographic memory serves) has joined the ranks of small cities trying to do what the feds won't: enforce America's immigration laws. City councilman Tim O'Hara is trying to introduce municipal legislation not unlike that in Hazelton, PA, Barletta's city. Among other things Mr. O'Hara wants stiff penalties against employers who hire illegals and landlords who rent to them, and he wants English to be FB's official language. Of course, FB and councilman O'Hara are coming in for the usual treatment meted out to anyone who dares support American law, culture, and sovereignty.

Domingo Garcia and Hector Flores, both of LULAC, have lobed verbal "city of hate" missiles at FB and charges of racism at O'Hara. A boycott of FB is also in the works. The pro-illegals activists are becoming boringly predictable. Dare to raise your voice against the massive violation of American law by foreigners and you're a racist. Hey LULAC, why don't you ever call all those "Gringo!" yelling Hispanics racist? Isn't "gringo" a racist word? And why isn't Mexico a country of hate for putting its military on its border with Guatemala? If Mexicans should be free to walk across America's border any time they want, shouldn't Guatemalans be free to walk across Mexico's border any time they want? Let's have some consistentcy here!

But of course, consistentcy is as foreign to the Left as enforcing our immigration laws is to the feds. So it's left up to small cities like Hazelton, PA and Farmer's Branch, TX to do what the Constitution requires the federal government to do: protect America. Apparently, protecting America must now become the job of every city, county, state, and citizen. Hazelton and Farmer's Branch have stepped up to the plate. It's time for the rest of us to step up, too.

Support the Agents!

In case you haven't heard, two Border Patrol (BP) agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, were recently convicted of unjustly shooting a Mexican national smuggling drugs into the United States. If that wasn't bad enough, the Department of Homeland Security actually tracked down the drug dealer in Mexico and brought him back to America to testify against the agents! The drug dealing Mexican is now suing for $5,000,000 claiming his civil rights were violated. What kind of a world are we living in?!?!

About the only good thing that will come out of this case is that it'll prove that opponents of illegal immigration are NOT racist against Mexicans or anybody else. The BP agents are Hispanic and it's the radio talk shows and other conservative media that are supporting them. Why would they do that if they were racist? In any case, this outrage against these agents must not stand, and you can do something about it. Go to www.grassfire.org and sign the petition demanding that President Bush pardon these agents who were only doing their job: protecting America. If we the people don't stand up for those on the front lines, no one will. I've stood up, will you?

What Were They Thinking?!

When I heard over the week-end that Israel had agreed to a UN brokered cease-fire in its war with Hezboallah I couldn't believe it. The first thought in my mind was, what were they thinking?! It's been almost two days since the guns fell silent and the Katyushas stopped falling and I'm worried that Israel only bought Hezbuallah time to regroup in order to fight again.

After declaring that the destruction of Hezboallah was it's goal, I can't believe that Israel really agreed to stop fighting short of that objective. Surely the Israelis knew that stopping the war short of Hezboallah's total destruction would give that organization the chance to claim victory, which it has done. Don't the Israelis realize that the feeling of having defeated the mighty IDF will only embolden Hezboallah and all other terrorist groups that live for Israel's death?

And what on earth could've convinced the Israelis to trust their very survival, not just their security, to the UN and the Lebanese army? As part of the cease-fire deal, the UN and the Lebanese army are supposed to secure south Lebanon and disarm Hezboallah. But wasn't the UN and the Lebanese government supposed to have done just that after Israel pulled out of south Lebanon in 2000? Instead, the Hez was given six years to get tons of weapons from Iran and turn south Lebanon into a guerilla base. So, if the UN and the Lebanese government were unwilling or unable to disarm Hezboallah in 2000 what makes anybody with a brain think they're willing and able to do it now? Hezboallah has already said it won't disarm. So unless the UN and the Lebanese government are prepared to wage war on the Hez, I don't see how the cease-fire deal can last.

On "The O'Reilly Factor" last night Dan Gillerman, Israel's ambassador to the UN, tried to explain this unlikely turn of events and reassure the audience that it wasn't a victory for Hezboallah. He wasn't convincing. He kept insisting that Hezboallah's fighting capacity had been badly degraded, as if repeating it made it so and, more ominously, he kept using the word "hope" a lot as in, "I hope the UN and Lebanese army can disarm Hezboallah."* When your survival is at stake, hope won't cut it.

When Israel launched this war on Hezboallah in response to it's killing of eight of her soldiers and the kidnapping of two others (whom she hasn't gotten back), I thought she was really committed to destroying Hezboallah once and for all. I was wrong. Instead of wiping out her enemy, Israel has caved to world opinion, political correctness and, apparently, her own aversion to waging a real boots-on-the-ground-failure-is-not-an-option war. In the name of peace, the Israelis have chosen to sign their own death certificate, for that is what this cease-fire really is. Again, all I can say is, What were they thinking?!

Now Here's An Idea!

While driving to work this morning Darrell Ankarlo, one of my favorite radio talk show hosts, was talking about a study* that found that teens who listen to sexually suggestive music were twice as likely to have sex in the next two years as teens who didn't. When I heard this a great idea immediately popped into my mind: sue the "artists" who record this stuff.

That's right; sue 'em! Every teen parent, AIDS patient, rape victim, and STD sufferer should sue the folks who make explicit music and any other kind of explicit entertainment. Great idea, huh? No? Come on!

Liberals are devoted to the belief that individuals aren't really responsible for the illegal, immoral, and/or irresponsible things they do (or the subsequent consequences); society is. That's the driving force behind all their lawsuits against tobacco companies and their calls for similar lawsuits against gun manufacturers. I'm just taking their own belief to the next level.

Think about it. Using liberals' logic, isn't a struggling unwed--or even wed--teen parent owed something from the "artists" who glorify out-of-wedlock sex in every song they sing? After all, the study showed that teens who listen to that type of music are more likely to have sex than teens who don't, and with sex comes consequences. Liberals claim that tobacco companies and gun manufacturers, not individual smokers and gun owners, are responsible for smoking-related diseases and gun violence, respectively, simply by virtue of supplying the product that caused the illness or mayhem. So, then, aren't "artists" who saturate the airwaves with sexually explicit music (and movies, tv shows, etc.) just as responsible for the negative results of their product?

"This is nonsense!" liberals will scream. "Individuals are in control of their own bodies; music can't make people do anything they don't want to do. And even if music could influence people like that, it's up to parents to supervise their kids so they don't get into trouble. Besides, the right to free speech allows these performers to make any kind of music they choose. This is just another instance of conservative censorship!" Yep, libs will say something a lot like this against my idea, but in so doing they'll only expose their own hypocrisy and inconsistency.

There's a lot of physical and emotional suffering, and financial hardship, directly caused by smoking and gun violence, but that's not why liberals wage war on tobacco companies and gun manufacturers; if it were, they'd be suing explicit music "artists" as I write because there's a lot of suffering and financial hardship directly caused by "free" sex, too. No, liberals go after tobacco companies and gun makers simply because they don't like smoking or gun ownership,
and they're trying to establish a new code of secular morality. They do like "free" sex, though. And they want it promoted as far and wide as possible, despite the grief it's caused, because it's their most potent weapon against traditional, Judeo-Christian values.

So liberals won't care for my idea of suing the likes of Emenim, The Pussycat Dolls, or Madonna, but sane folks, many of whom are helping to raise their illegitimate grandkids, will. If Big Tobacco and the gun makers have to pony up for the dirt left behind by their products, music "artists" should, too. Let's keep it consistent, libs.


*I didn't catch the name of the study or who did it because I caught only part of Darrell Ankarlo's show, but if you Google "Darrell Ankarlo" that should put you on the right path to finding all the info on the study you want.

A Waste of Time

President Bush wasted his time when he spoke to the NAACP a few days ago. I just don't understand why he did it. If Bush thought he was going to score some points for himself and the Republican party in this election year he was sadly mistaken.

The NAACP hates Bush, conservatives, the Republican party, and everything they stand for. The NAACP may have done some good things back in the day but now it's become an organization dedicated to racial self-interest and the perpetuation of the victim mentality among Blacks. As you can tell, I'm a Black person who doesn't care much for the NAACP.

When I was growing up nobody in my neighborhood talked about the NAACP. There was nothing in my virtually all Black neighborhood that anyone could point to and say, "The NAACP did that for us". The group was totally irrevelant to the day-to-day lives of my family and my friends' families. And the group is totally irrevelant to me now. That's why I think President Bush wasted his time speaking to it.

And if the President felt he just had to speak to the NAACP he should've used the occassion to deliver a dose of cold, hard truth to that group. Instead of pandering to Black "leaders'" obsession with racism and revenge politics, Bush should've boldly pointed out that most problems facing Black Americans today are self-inflicted. Yes, racism still exists, but it's not the cause of Blacks' destructively high rates of crime, poverty, and illegitamatcy*. Trying to change White people's attitude toward Blacks won't solve those problems. And Bush should've reminded his audience that racism is a human problem, not a White people's problem. Blacks can be just as racist as Whites, and not just against Whites but also against Hispanics, Asians, and Jews, to name a few. Of course, those other non-Whites and Jews are often racist against Blacks.

Yes, Bush could've told the NAACP that racism haunts every human heart; no one race has a monopoly on it. He could've told the NAACP that America has overcome most of it's racist past and racism no longer can stop anyone with determination from making it in this country. He could've told the NAACP that what racism still exists doesn't force Blacks to have babies out of wedlock, commit crime, or sell drugs. Those are personal choices for which only the individual is responsible. Bush could've told the NAACP all of these things, but didn't. Instead, he chose to pander. He wasted his time and America's. And that's really sad.

*I hope I spelled that right.

It's Hard Out There for a Felon

This past Sunday there was a little excitement in my part of Texas. After carjacking two cars, this Black guy hijacked an 18-wheeler with a White woman inside and led police on a slow speed, three county chase (the woman was driving with a gun to her head). Thankfully, the incident ended peacefully but almost immediately after he was in custody the suspect, Samuel Scott Jones, began blaming his actions on racism.

Jones claimed that all Black men have an "x" on their backs, that the government is out to get them, and that they can't get good jobs. He did apologize to his hostage and credited her with stopping him from doing anything that would get him killed, but I shudder to think how many victicrat* Blacks and White liberals will be ready to excuse his crime because of his race.

I'm not one of those victicrat Blacks who thinks that life is so hard for Blacks, especially Black men, that any criminal act they committ is ok because it's a political statement against a racist system. Crime isn't ok from anyone for any reason. As a Black person I actually have the radical idea that Blacks should be more opposed to crime committed by fellow Blacks because such crime makes our whole race look bad. Jones' actions only added to the negative stereotype of the predatory Black male. And the premise behind his actions is just false.

As stated above Jones claimed, among other things, that Black men can't get good jobs. Funny, in my community and in my circle of family, friends, and associates are Black men who've managed to become policemen, bank managers, surgeons, computer programmers, business owners, photographers, and teachers, to name a few occupations. All of these men grew up in the same system that Samuel Jones did yet, somehow, they all mangaged to find good jobs. Maybe not being a felon helped.

That's right. Samuel Jones was already a felon before he embarked on his "political statement" Sunday. Jones served nine years in prison for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He was released in 2002 and could only find low paying jobs afterwards. Well, duh! What did Jones think? Employers would welcome him with open arms? Actually some did welcome him, just not the ones who paid what Jones thinks he's worth.

I marvel at people who think society owes them a living no matter what their behavior or lifestyle and then blame society, not their illegal, immoral, or irresponsible acts, when they can't get or keep a job. Well Mr. Jones I've got news for you: it's hard out there for a felon. Shocking as it may seem, most of us decent folks tend to look askance at things like drug dealing and the people who do them. If we have a choice between hiring someone who's broken the law and someone who hasn't, we tend to go with the latter. Call us crazy, but that's just how we work. And if you, Mr. Jones, really wanted to work you should've played by the rules. No one forced you to sell cocaine and no one forced you to hijack a truck and take a hostage. Those were your choices. Stop blaming racism and try taking responsibility for your own actions, Mr. Jones. That might help you when you get out of jail next time. Otherwise, you'll be making political statements until you're shot dead. And that'll be your choice, too.

*This term was coined by Black author Larry Elder to describe Blacks who blame all of their failures on racism and refuse to take responsibility for the consequences of their own actions.

Hey McCommas! I'm glad you really did bookmark me. I do consider it an honor! I've already read Tammy Bruce's two previous books, "The NewThought Police" and " The Death of Right and Wrong"; that's why I was so excited when "The New American Revolution" came out. "Revolution" is proving a good read, but I think Tammy is a bit too optimistic about the renewal of American patriotism. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so. I will check out Half.com when I can. I can only blog when I'm at the library since I don't have a computer at home, so it might take me a while to get there, but I'll get there! Again, welcome to the Zone, McCommas. I hope I can keep you interested!

Now for you, TayDigga. I have only one thing to say to you: YES I AM BLACK!!!!!!! Just because I'm not a kneejerk liberal Democrat doesn't mean I'm not Black. If you knew anything about history you'd know that most Blacks were Republican from the end of the Civil War until the Great Depression. Why? Because Abraham Lincoln was Republican. In fact, the Republican party was founded specifically as an anti-slavery party. And in 1964 more Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act than Democrats. The segregated South was known as the Solid South--solidly Democratic. And as for being sympathetic, I'm sympathetic toward all people who try to get ahead by legal means. I have no sympathy for anyone who thinks they're entitled to break the law just because of their race and/or class. Caring about someone means holding them accountable when they do wrong and encouraging them when they do right. For the time being conservatives in both parties are the only people willing to say that publicly. That's what I'm zealous for. Got it, TayDigga?

Below is a reprint of Mayor Lou Barletta's open letter to the people of Hazelton, PA., explaining his crackdown on illegal aliens in the city. Reading Mayor Barletta's own words just makes him rock even harder. Have a look, then do the same in YOUR town!

An Open Letter from Mayor Lou Barletta:

I believe the United States of America is the greatest nation on Earth. People who are in this country have an incredible amount of opportunities and blessings. But some people have taken advantage of America's openness and tolerance. Some come to this country and refuse to learn English, creating a language barrier for city employees. Others enter the country illegally and use government services by not paying taxes or by committing crime on our streets, further draining resources here in Hazelton.

Illegal immigration leads to higher crime rates, contributes to overcrowded classrooms and failing schools, subjects our hospitals to fiscal hardship and legal residents to substandard quality of care, and destroys our neighborhoods and diminshes our overall quality of life.

The City of Hazelton is empowered and mandated by the people of Hazelton to abate the nuisance of illegal immigration by aggressively prohibiting and punishing the acts, policies, people, and businesses that aid and abet illegal aliens. This is why I proposed the Illegal Immigration Relief Act.

Part of this ordinace, if enacted, would punish companies that hire illegal immigrants by denying them permits, making it harder for them to renew permits and forcing their loss of city business.

Another part would hold landlords accountable. Because people moving into the city naturally require a place to sleep, our landlords are our first line of defense. Landlords who rent to illegal immigrants--that is, who rent to people without checking their documentation, may be fined $1000 for every illegal immigrant staying on their properties.

The final part of this ordinance makes English the official language of Hazelton. All city documents will only be available in English. Those applying for a permit would have to speak English. While our emergency services will never be denied to anyone because of a language barrier, every other aspect of city business will be conducted only in English. Let me be clear, this ordinance is intended to make Hazelton one of the most difficult places in the U.S. for illegal immigrants.

This measure is not racist because it does not target one particular race. The Illegal Immigration Relief Act is intended to deter and punish any illegal immigration in the City of Hazelton. Requiring the use of English does not target any other language; it merely states that no matter what language you prefer to speak at home, English will be spoken when you conduct business with Hazelton officials.

Illegal immigration is a drain on city resources. Every domestic incident, every traffic accident, every noise complaint, each time we send our police department, fire department or code enforcement officer to respond, it costs taxpayer dollars.

If the City of Hazelton began publishing official documents or conducting business in a second language, how would we respond when someone asks us to use a third, or fourth language?

Recent crimes--the shooting on Chestnut Street, the discharge of firearms at the Pine Street Playground, and high profile drug busts--have involved illegal immigrants. Sadly, some of those allegedly involved in those crimes were detained by other law enforcement officials over the years, but were somehow allowed to remain in this country. They eventually migrated into Hazelton, where they helped create a sense of fear in the good, hardworking residents who are here legally.

This ordinance does not roll back the welcome mat to those who are legally in the United States. This country was built on the backs of legal immigrants. My own great-grandparents came to this country seeking a better life. Rather, this ordinance seeks to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into Hazelton. They are not welcome here!

To the residents of Hazelton, I say thank you for your continued support. Hazelton is moving forward and becoming an even better place to live. To our recently arrived legal immigrants, I say welcome. I personally wish you all the best. With hard work and determination, the United States and Hazelton can be a place where your dreams come true. And to illegal immigrants and those who would hire or abet them in any way, I say your time is up. You are no longer welcome.

Yes, I've read the Willie Horton chapter in Ms. Coulter's book, "Godless". It was great, just like all of the five chapters I've read so far. I'm now starting chapter six. I'm reading the book a little slower than usual because I'm also reading Tammy Bruce's book, "The New American Revolution", and blogging, of course (and working!). I saw in your profile that you've read Ms. Bruce's two previous books, "The New Thought Police" and "The Death of Right and Wrong". Ms. Bruce rocks, doesn't she? It's amazing what you can learn from a gun-toting, pro-choice, feminist lesbian!

Lou Barletta Rocks!

In case you haven't heard, Lou Barletta is the mayor of Hazelton, PA. Mayor Barletta has taken on the illegal alien (IA) problem in his small city and I say, You go Lou!

It's sad that a small town mayor has to act to solve this problem because the federal government is so gutless, but I'm thrilled to see someone standing up against this danger to our country.

Mayor Barletta has enacted tough measures against IAs and those who help them. For starters, the city of Hazelton will revoke the license of any business caught knowingly employing IAs. Landlords who knowingly rent to illegals will be fined $1000 per IA they house. And English will be Hazelton's official language. I think I like that measure most of all.

Of course, Mayor Barletta will be called a racist. That's the pro-IA lobby's tactic of choice. But he's determined to stand against the IA menace, come what may. And I will stand with Mayor Barletta, as all true Americans should. He's protecting his town and, by extension, his country. Mayor Barletta is a real American hero; he rocks!

"They're Not Supporting the Troops"

In the wake of the brutal murders of our brave warriors Thomas Lowell Tucker and Kristian Menchaca, I'm reprinting a letter from warrior Anthony Ippoliti that first appeared in his hometown newspaper The Ridgefield Press. Mr. Ippoliti was giving an answer to all those "peace" activists who claim they're supporting the troops even as they disdain the war. Mr. Ippoliti tells them just how wrongheaded they are. Read and learn.


"They're Not Supporting the Troops"

I am fortunate enough to receive The Ridgefield Press every few weeks and enjoy keeping abreast of local issues currently pressing in our small town. I am a U.S. Marine Infantryman currently serving in Fallujah, Iraq, and my mother usually includes The Press in the many care packages she send me.

Since we have very limited access to telephones, The Ridgefield Press is the primare means by which I receive local news. Almost every week, I open The Press and find an article or letter to the editors denouncing the coalition effort in Iraq. Invariably, the individuals behind these anti-war letters and rallies mask their political agenda by asserting that they "support the troops but not the war". People like Vince Giordano, Paul Sutherland, and Anne Stubbs are pictured in the April 13 edition of The Press carrying a yellow-ribboned coffin and signs that say "Bring Them Home Now." They read off the names of the dead and claim to "show support for our troops" while urging lawmakers to "bring them home." They believe that the U.S.-led coalition should never have entered Iraq and that the current effort is a never-ending quagmire that has made no progress. They believe that things are progressively getting worse and think that our forces should just pick up and leave. They do all this under the pretense that they are supporting the troops. However, what they are really doing is using our lives and the issue of our safety and well-being as a means to achieve a political end.

My primary concern is the assertion that these individuals support the troops in Iraq but not our mission. It boggles my mind that this logic is actually utilized on a large scale. Supporting the troops but not the war is like saying that you support filmmakers but not making films. One cannot claim to support an individual in a given profession but not support what the said profession entails. This is essentially a slap in the face to those in the service.

How protesting the job we are doing in Iraq while demanding our withdrawal constitutes supporting us is beyond me. Futhermore, I'm particularly interested in how these people support us, specifically. I have never once received a letter from an individual who claims to "support the troops, not the war." Not a single Marine I know has received anything that could be considered remotely supportive from any of these people or the groups they represent. We have received phone cards, hygiene supplies, food, etc., from members of state and local government, radio stations, schools, private individual and organizations, but never once from any group claiming to "support the troops, but not the war."

I ask again: How can these groups claim to support our troops while telling us that what we are participating in is wrong? How can they support us if they are essentially saying that our blood and sacrifices have all been given in vain? How can they support us if they say that our comrades and brothers who have been wounded or killed in action have done so for a hopeless and morally questionable cause?

I reply to the questions I pose with a simple answer: They can't. As a matter of fact, I assert with a considerable degree of confidence that their effort make our already difficlult job even more difficult. I'll go so far as to say that their rallies and protests cost more and more servicemen their lives and limbs every day. I support my assertion with evidence gathered first hand. I see the Iraqi people every day. The protesters do not. I speak with the Iraqi people every day. The protesters do not. I don't sit behind a desk and do paperwork or resupply efforts in the military. I an am Infantry Marine and I walk the sewage-filled streets of this city every day. In Falllujah, the people watch Al Jazeera. However, they also watch CNN. A lot of them fear that the United States will soon cut and run. The people of Iraq see when our country is divided. When they see rallies to "Bring The Troops Home," they see that as a sign that we will end our efforts prematurely. Furthermore, they know that the insurgents will not end their efforts early. That leads them to the conclusion that when we leave, the insurgents will still be there--if we don't finish the job. Much that they see on American television leads them to believe that we intend to abandon our efforts before the new Iraqi government is capable of defending itself and its citizens.

The actions of these aforementioned organizations and the heavy media coverage their rallies often generate serves as a fuel for the insurgency. Insurgents believe they can drive us out through the idea of "death by a thousand cuts." The longer they persist in their efforts, the more the America public becomes disenchanted with the coalition effort. The insurgency sees this as a result. These criminals will continue to kill Iraqi civilians, Iraqi Police, Iraqi Army and coalition forces so long as they see that their efforts are alienating the American public from its military.

And for those of you that aren't up to speed with the situation in Iraq, the insurgents attack and kill established public services (such as Iraqi police and Iraqi army) more often than they attack coalition forces. As a matter of fact, an explosive-laden insurgent blew himself up last week outside the Iraqi police station that is attached to our compound. The insurgents aren't fighting simply to drive America out of Iraq. They are fighting to destroy any semblance of the Iraqi goverment so that they can impose their will on its people. Publicly protesting our efforts in Iraq fuels the insurgency. Doing it under the pretext of "supporting our troops" is disgraceful.

Let me now emphasize that I respect an American citizen's right to voice his or her opinion in a public forum. Such a right is granted in the U.S. Constitution. However, voicing one's opinion in such an irresponsible way is something I do not support. Additionally, using deployed service members as a mask to serve your purely political purpose is downright shameful. If your desire is to protest the war, then protest the war, but don't use me or any reference to our troops as a tool to bolster your purpose.

I'll summarize by saying this: Organizations such as The Ridgefield Coalition to Stop the War do not support our troops. No matter what they say or what is printed on the signs they carry, hey effectviely do the opposite of supporting us. They downright hurt us. Such organizations damage the morale of the men and women in the armed forces and progressively cause them to believe less and less in the mission at hand. The conditions here are difficult as it is. Opening a month-old edition of The Ridgefield {ress and reading an article about an anti-war demonstration that uses our troop in an effort to maks it's true cause doesn't help. Please don't feign support while effectively telling us that we are fighting for an unworthy cause. I think I speak for an ovewhelming majority of our troops when I ask organizations like The Ridgefield Coalition to Stop the War to discontinue using Marines, soldiers, airmen and sailors as a means to serve a political end. You are neither supporting us nor honoring us. You are doing the exact opposite.

I Wannabe Ann Coulter!

I wannabe Ann Coulter!

Yes, I admit it. Even though she said some pretty controversial things in her latest book, I wannabe her. Honestly, I haven't read a single book she's written, at least not all the way through. But I like her take-no-prisoners style when debating the issues on tv.

I love the fact that she's an outspoken--to put it mildly-- conservative woman. Ann Coulter shatters the Left's doctrine of identity politics, that restrictive notion that a person's political and social views should be determined by the group(s) to which he belongs. According to the doctrine, women are supposed to be liberal, voting Democrat under the unquestioned assumption that Democrats are the only politicians who can help them as women. Ann Coulter is a proud, right-wing woman, fearlessly voicing her disdain for the Left and all it's toxic "solutions" for our nation's problems. No wonder the mainstream media hates her.

Ann Coulter is the poster child for what I call individualist politics, the idea that a person's political and social beliefs are and should be determined by his education and life experiences as an individual, not by the group(s) to which he belongs. Usually, people who practice individualist politics are members of "oppressed" groups--women, gays, minorities-- whom the Left insists must be left-wing. For an individual member of such a group to think for himself and come to a different view is heresy of the highest order. Such people are subjected to the most venomous hatred by the devotees of tolerance and diversity. Just ask Ann, she knows.

And that's why I wannabe Ann Coulter. I practice individualist politics, but I'm not nearly as courageous in expressing it as Ann is. I'd settle for just half her chutzpah. If I had that I could knock down some doors instead of being semi in the closet. If only Ann could send her spirit to possess those seeking courage; I'd be a willing vessel. Find me a psychic! Find me a channeler! I wannabe Ann Coulter. She rocks!

Michael Berg Sucks

On the day when every American should've been rejoicing over the killing of terrorist Abu Musad al-Zarqawi, Michael Berg could only express sadness at the demise of his son Nicholas Berg's killer.

If you remember, Nicholas Berg was beheaded by al-Zarqawi in 2003, but if you're to believe the incredible statements by the elder Berg, al-Zarqawi probably wasn't Nicholas' killer.

In an interview on Fox News, Michael Berg, a professed pacifist, openly doubted that al-Zarqawi killed his son, dimissing both the videotape showing al-Zarqawi beheading Nicholas and claims of al-Zarqawi's guilt from the "lying FBI". Instead, Berg insisted that George Bush was responsible for his son's death because Bush started the Iraq war. According to Berg's thinking, if Bush hadn't invaded Iraq al-Zarqawi never would've been in the country. Never mind that al-Zarqawi was in Iraq before the war began.

Michael Berg hates America. He might try to hide his hatred behind a mask of pacifism, but the animus he harbors for the US oozed out of every word he spoke on Fox News. No one who loves his country could engage in and believe the kind of reality reversal that Berg so painfully practices and believes. His desperate need to see America as the bad guy, in total disregard of the evil committed by her enemies, can come only from hate.

I cut Michael Berg no slack because he lost a child in the Iraq war. Many people have lost children in this war but they haven't gone over to the enemy's side. And they don't preach a "pacifism" that opposes only America's wars, not war itself. Michael Berg's status as a grieving father earns him no pass on the outrageous things he said about al-Zarqawi, Bush, and this war. He is routing for America's defeat and that makes him a traitor, plain and simple. And if you don't see that, you're as treacherous as he is.
