Traditional Girl

Here's a poem/song I've been working on for the past few days. The words, and even a melody, started coming to me while I was at work. The poem is inspired by Miss California Carrie Prejean. As I'm sure you know, Miss Prejean has been the object of viscious personal attacks since declaring her support for traditional marriage during the Miss USA beauty pageant. I find Carrie Prejean's grace and bravery under pressure quite admirable. She is a role model for every believer in traditional values. The sentiments in my poem probably don't reflect what every traditionalist believes; that's not the point. I want this poem/song to encourage traditionalists, especially young ones like Miss Prejean. The culture isn't totally sold out to progressive, anti-Biblical values. We traditionalists are still in this fight. I'm using cultural ammo to fight a culture war, and I'm fighting to WIN!

"Traditional Girl"
by Seane-Anna

I walk the old paths
that they say are bad.
I read the Bible
and salute the flag.

I believe all that I earn
is my own.
The work of my hands
and to me it belongs.

And I know the Lord loves
the rich and the common.
And marriage is between
a man and a woman.
I stand on my first right
and say it out loud:
I'm a traditional girl
and I'm strong
and I'm proud!

The ways of tradition
were sent from above.
Like a child is best brought up
by his mother's love.
And the father stands firm
as the strength of the home.
And it's for him to bear arms
to protect his own.

And I know true beauty
shines out from within.
It's not found on newsstands
displaying bare skin.
I stand on my first right
and say it out loud:
I'm a traditional girl
and I'm strong
and I'm proud!

Charity leads us to
uplift the poor.
To teach them the way
how to famish no more.
Neighbor is better than
state at this part.
'Cause good's only good
when it comes from the heart.

And I know you can't spend
your way out of debt.
It's been tried before
and it hasn't worked yet.
I stand on my first right
and say it out loud:
I'm a traditional girl
and I'm strong
and I'm proud!

I believe my land's
the home of the good.
Established by brave men
who did what they should.

In danger their fortune
and honor they pledged.
And they left us a great law
that means what it says.

And I know those Fathers
are still our foundation.
And the blood of the brave
is the seed of the nation.
I stand on my first right
and say it out loud:
I'm a traditional girl
and I'm strong
and I'm proud!

A traditional girl
and I'm strong
and I'm proud!

There it is folks, my poem/song in defense of traditional values. I hope you like it and I hope it inspires you to stand as firmly and courageously for tradition as Carrie Prejean and others do.

The REAL Holy Warriors!!!!

I'm having a bit of writer's block so I decided to post a video paying tribute to our troops. I went to YouTube looking for one particular video but ended up finding three that rocked my world. I've posted those videos below. One of them has strong language for which I apologize, but if you can overlook the profanity I think you'll enjoy the vid. So sit back, grab a Coke, and cheer on the US Armed Forces, the REAL holy warriors!!!!

Vid 1: Marine Sniper Remix. A kickass tribute to Great Satan's A1 killaz! (Song: Bodies, by Drowing Pool)

Vid 2: Marines Get Some: Die MF Die. Watch Uncle Sam's Finest bust caps on enemy ass! American Terminators without apology! (Song: Die MF Die, by D.O.P.E)

Vid 3: Soldiers. Here are America's Mighty Men getting a little R&R after a day of villain killin'. Rest up, rock on, and fight another day, boys! (Song: Soldiers, by Drowning Pool)

Another Brave Voice

We've all heard of the controversy involving Miss California Carrie Prejean. We've seen her courage in the face of viscious denunciations. On "The O'Reilly Factor" this past Tuesday I saw where Miss Prejean got some of her courage: her pastor, Miles Mcpherson. I don't know where Miles Mcpherson stands on all the issues, but on the issue of gay marriage he's a fearless advocate of Biblical morality and truth. He's also African-American, which undermines the gay rights activists' effort to equate their struggle with Blacks' struggle for civil rights. Mcpherson rejects that equation. Like I said, the man is brave. Give a look and listen to Miles Mcpherson. If you're a traditionalist like me, you'll cheer.

Another Blog, Another Post

Hello blogging friends! Sorry I haven't posted on PGZ in nearly a week. I will soon. In the mean time I'd like for you to mosey on over to my religion blog, God and Me, and check out my post there on Jesus and gay marriage. I really want to know what you think of it, so don't be shy about leaving comments. And while I'll reply to any provocative comments, I promise I won't bite. Well, maybe just a nibble. Hee, hee.

"A Thank You Note"

In honor of the Chosen One's 100th day in office I'm reprinting a thank you letter from a group of his very special friends. Enjoy.

A Thank You Note
transcribed by Roadie on behalf of Benevolent Leader's special friends

Dear President Obama,

Just a note to say thank you for your tireless effort in supporting our cause. As I'm sure you know, our organization has been around for a long time, and we've had many obstacles along the way. Though we have many members not everyone is "on board" with our program. Some are just not as receptive to our agenda as others. This alone has made our success more difficult and challenging, but our persistence and resolve has carried us a long way. Now, with your help, many of the hurdles we've encountered over the years have been removed in most cases, or reduced in others. Your predecessor was not "down" with our cause and proved to be a major impediment to our goals. Whenever we would try to put together a new project, he would find some way to throw the proverbial "wrench" into our works. It seemed that no matter what direction we would turn, he and his associates would be there waiting to deter our progress.

When we heard of your election, it was like a breath of fresh air. A collective sigh of relief could be heard throughout our organization. We knew our efforts to ensure your election were not in vain, and we regret we could not do more to help your campaign. Thanks to the policies that you have already instituted our group has seen a major resurgence in both recruiting and "R & D". Your proposed policies have given us the shot in the arm we've needed for some years now, and our hopes for the future have never been brighter. Your cabinet appointments along with those of other key positions are nothing less than a Godsend to us. It's so nice to finally have people in [the] American government who are willing to get out of our way and let us do our work without...interference.

Rather than detail our plans for the immediate future, we thought it would be more entertaining to implement them unannounced. We can only hope that you will be able to witness our plans coming to fruition personally. We want you to experience the result[s] of your cooperation first hand.

In closing, we are finding it hard to put into words our eternal gratitude for your help in regenerating our hopes and allowing us to work harder to meet our goals. So we would simply like to say "thank you" from the bottom of our hearts.

Sincerely,

Al Qaeda

I'd Love To Be Waterboarding

Torture! Torture! Torture!

For over seven years the American Left has had more fun than the law allows flinging the above accusation at the Bush admininstration's enhanced interrogation techniques. Now the Obama admininstration has released various "torture" memos and the Left's desire to punish Bush for protecting America has been enflamed. Obama, ever the consummate leader, waffled on the punishment issue. First he claimed no interest in prosecuting Bush officials then, under pressure from his far-left base, Obama said prosecutions weren't off the table and then, after polls showed most Americans opposed any prosecutions of Bush officials, Dear Leader returned to his original position. It remains to be seen if this will be Obama's final stand on this emotional issue. But I'm not really concerned about that. What concerns and appalls me is what the zealous desire for prosecutions reveals about the Left.

As I've watched and listened to the "torture" controversy on tv I've become more convinced than ever that progressives simply oppose the defense of this country. That's the only thing that explains their militant commitment to punishing the people who successfully protected us from terrorism for seven years.

I've listened to the liberals' side of the story. I've heard their assertions that Bush's policies made America less safe by ruining our image abroad and providing a recruitment tool to the terrorists. I've heard their claims that Bush violated the Constitution and that, as a nation of laws, America must bring the Bush-era perpetrators of "torture" to justice. I've listened to this stuff and I can't believe it's asserted by what are supposed to be intelligent people. Here's my rebuttal.

Yes, America is a nation of laws and a nation that DOES NOT TORTURE. What was done to the enemy combatants at Gitmo wasn't torture. If the lefties would get off the Kool-Aid they'd know from the "torture" memos themselves that the United States went to great lengths to ensure the detainees suffered no lasting physical or emotional damage from the interrogation techniques. That's not what you do when you're really torturing people. When you torture your aim is to inflict horrendous pain and suffering on the prisoner to make him talk. You're not trying to simply make him uncomfortable.

The Gitmo interrogators certainly wanted the detainees to be more than just uncomfortable. They wanted the enemy to feel pain, but not horrendous pain. The interrogators used relatively mild techniques such as sleep deprivation and the now notorious waterboarding. They didn't pull out detainees' finger nails, electric shock their genitals, burn them, feed them to lions, inject gasoline into their veins, or gang rape their wives and daughters in front of them. Our disciplined interrogators did none of those things but you wouldn't know that from the cacophony of condemnation heaped on them by progressives. Which leads me to my next point.

I'm actually frightened of the strident anger progressives have over the "torture" that occurred at Gitmo. A grand total of three Gitmo detainees were waterboarded and the Left is apoplectic about it. Yet I don't remember them getting this worked up over the beheading of Daniel Pearl. I don't remember them getting this incensed over the beheading of Nicholas Berg. Even 9/11 didn't produce the amount of outrage among liberals that the waterboarding of those three Muslim fanatics has. This tells me that leftists just don't value American lives. In their paradigm it's worse for an American to "torture" a terrorist than it is for a terrorist to actually murder an American. I truly believe that view is what's really driving progressives' obsession with Gitmo and their malevolent desire to prosecute the patriots who protected us. Liberals just don't believe that America is entitled to defend herself. They don't believe that America has a moral right to be right. That's what's really going on here.

And the Left's assertion that the enhanced interrogation techniques at Gitmo ruined America's image and gave the terrorists a recruitment tool is just ludicrous. Ill will toward America existed long before Gitmo opened and it will continue long after Gitmo is closed. America has been called the Great Satan--about as low as you can go on the popularity totem pole--by Iran for decades. Millions of non-Iranian Muslims heartily share that sentiment. Muslim terrorists have been attacking America and American interests at least since Sirhan Sirhan assasinated RFK in 1968, decades BEFORE the Bush presidency. And they were able to recruit followers to their cause without the benefit of "torture" at Gitmo. Maybe the only recruitment tool Islamofascists need is Islam itself.

I'm sickened by liberals' obssession with prosecuting Bush administration officials. This isn't about justice or principle; it's about weakening America from within. As stated above, the Left believes America has no moral right to self-defense. Undermining our ability and willingness to fight is simply part of that belief. The objectives of our enemies are irrevelent; for progressives the only real enemy is America, and she must be stopped. And that's what their manufactured outrage over "torture" is really about. They're trying to handicap America with a false morality. The American people don't want politicized prosecutions and show trials. They want to be protected from those who would kill us. I'm one of those people. The progressives can work to tear down our defenses; they can cling to their delusion that Bush is the enemy, but I know who the real enemy is and I'd love to be waterboarding.

Bill Clinton Redux

Do you remember Bill Clinton's presidency? I do. And one thing I remember most is his habit of governing by polls, or at least his being accused of that. The charge was that Clinton would put his finger in the air and then declare his support for which every way the wind was blowing. This wasn't the whole truth, of course, but it was somewhat accurate of Clinton's governing style. Now we have Obama taking a page out of dear ol' Bill's book. Take a look at this.

I saw on Yahoo! News yesterday that, in his weekly radio address, Obama pledged to cut dozens of wasteful government programs. This had to be done, Dear Leader insisted, because "ever-expanding deficits and debt" were "unsustainable". Also, America's future depended on "restoring a sense of responsibility and accountability to our federal budget". Oh really? Where was Obama's concern for fiscal responsibility and unsustainable debt when he was pushing his porkulus bill and gargantuan budget through Congress? And why does he suddenly have such a pressing concern for those things now? Could it be what happened on Wednesday?

On Wednesday, hundreds of thousands of Americans took to the streets in Tea Parties to show their displeasure with Obama's reckless spending. While the mainstream media tried it's hardest to smear the protestors, their collective voice could not be silenced. It reached all the way to the White House, it seems. And Obama knew he had to do something.

Now Obama is a liberal. The only thing he loves more than taking the people's money is spending it. But he saw on Wednesday that a huge swath of the American people is MONUMENTALLY ANGRY about his profligate ways. So the Messiah gave a sop to their ire by promising to cut government programs. The catch is that cutting programs does NOT automatically mean there'll be less spending. It could only mean the SAME amount of money will be spent on fewer programs. I think the Big O is counting on Americans to assume that cutting wasteful federal programs will also mean reducing spending and, consequently, taxation. Such an assumption could blunt the anger over Obama's economic sinkhole and help present him as a centrist. A win-win situation for the Chosen One. There's only one problem. The American people aren't that stupid.

The hundreds of thousands who participated in the Tea Parties, and the millions who supported them, may have been ordinary working stiffs but they use their brains. They can see through attempts to bribe them with political tricks and worthless promises. If Obama wants to get back into the good graces of the anti-tax protestors he'd better stop treating them like dumb rednecks. Instead, he should try the engagement he's so keen on using with our enemies. If he can shake hands with Hugo Chavez he can shake hands with Tea Party America, too.

Party Time!

Well, it went off great! Yesterday was not only the dreaded tax day but also the day for the grassroots, anti-tax Tea Party protests, and I went! And it was wunderbar, as the Germans say.

This was the first protest I've ever attended. I have my opinions and beliefs and I defend and promote them on my blogs but I've never been an activist. I've always been more of the lone wolf type. But the outrageous spending and economic power grab by Obama infuriated me. I just had to DO something this time, and I did. Instead of going home after work and relaxing in front of my laptop, I headed out to my hometown's minor league baseball stadium for an all-American protest.

I admit I was worried about what the turn out would be, but I shouldn't have. Cars were lined up blocks away from the stadium. When I finally got up to the entance, cars were being directed to a second section of the parking lot because the first was full. A news helicopter buzzed over head as people walked toward the stadium entrance carrying flags and signs. It was exciting!

When I finally got into the stadium it was even more exciting. There was such, well, EXCITEMENT in the air. Nearly five thousand people, ranging from senior citizens to young couples with toddlers, attended the Tea Party. You could tell they really believed in the cause that brought them out on a Wednesday night when they could've been sitting comfortably at home. They were all ordinary, working class folks; the kind of people who shop at Wal-Mart. Common people, whom liberals believe they carry around in their pockets like loose change. Not! Last night the forgotten men and women of my Texas hometown joined hundreds of thousands of other fed up Americans to tell Washington, ENOUGH!

For about 90 minutes I and my fellow Texans listened and cheered as various speakers voiced their and our frustrations and fears over a bloated, spendthrift, and arrogant government. Gov. Rick Perry was an early speaker and wowed the crowd but the best speakers, to me, were a small businessman and a high school senior. They both spoke with great passion and conviction. The high school senior was especially heartening because he was proof that not all young people are mindless liberals. The crowd adored him and got a big kick out of his reference to "that fool Barney Frank". The kid was great! The music was great, too. It was so refreshing to hear protest songs for America instead of against America. Take that, Hollywood! Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The Tea Party started winding down around 8 and I left around 8:30, feeling more American than I have in quite a while.

I'm really glad I went to that protest. It was peaceful, orderly, and positive, the epitome of citizens petitioning the government for a redress of grievances. And spending our great nation into the poorhouse is certainly a grievance. My fellow protestors and I sent a loud and unmistakable message to the arrogant powers that be in Washington. If they don't listen, we'll do it again. In fact, we need to do it again even if they do listen just to remind them who's really in charge in America. We don't work for the government; the government works for us, no matter what the liberals say. It's OUR country. Power to the people! And God bless America!

"Presidents Don't..."

Here's another great post from my friend Roadie. Enjoy it y'all!

Presidents Don't...
by Roadie

Presidents don't go on late night tv shows.

Presidents don't "reach out" to terrorists.

Presidents don't enter the Oval Office without a jacket and tie.

Presidents don't complain about being "cooped up" in the White House, especially in their first few weeks in office.

Presidents don't flub the oath of office.

Presidents don't even consider making soldiers pay for their own medical care.

Presidents don't have time for "brackets".

Presidents don't plan to cut military spending in a time of war...or a time of peace.

Presidents don't plan to cut weapons development in a time of war...or a time of peace.

Presidents don't publicly blame previous administrations for their problems.

Presidents don't "market" their policies via tv and radio commercials.

Presidents don't encourage class envy or threaten the use of their office to get back privately contracted bonuses from private citizens, especially when they knew about them beforehand.

Presidents don't embarass the nation by giving a gift of DVDs to British Prime Ministers.

Presidents don't advocate socialism (nationalized health care, banks, car manufacturers, insurance companies, etc., etc.,).

Presidents don't promote hoaxes like man-made global warming.

Presidents don't grant constitutional rights to foreign terrorists.

Presidents don't take constitutional rights from babies in or out of the womb.

Presidents don't spend the tax payers' money as if it were in limitless supply.

Presidents don't spend more time in front of the camera than in front of their desk.

Presidents don't believe in "spreading the wealth" from the achievers to the slackers.

Presidents don't appoint tax cheats to any position.

Presidents don't giggle about America in recession.

Presidents don't need to have the media hold their hand and wipe their noses for them.

Presidents don't institute socialism they destroy it.

Presidents don't distrust the free market.

Presidents don't assume the government is smarter than the American people.

Presidents don't do anything of these things...until now.

America 3, Pirates 0

He's free!

Yahoo! News is reporting that Navy Seals staged a daring rescue of Richard Phillips, captain of the Maersk Alabama, an American cargo ship seized by Somali pirates five days ago. During the rescue Navy snipers shot to death three pirates who were holding Capt. Phillips on a lifeboat. A fourth pirate was on board a US Navy vessel for negotiations when the rescue occurred. There's no word on what his fate will be.

This is great news. I'm so proud of the Navy snipers for their flawless eradication of the pirate filth. I just wish they'd had a chance to get the fourth pirate scumbag, too. That guy should've been summarily executed and tossed overboard as soon as Capt. Phillips was freed. If that had happened, though, some liberal group would've howled that the guy's rights were violated. And Obama would've said that America was being arrogant again. He's already stated that the US needs help from other countries to deal with piracy and to hold pirates accountable. Hold them accountable? Boy, I bet that strikes terror into the hearts of those sea raiders!

Liberals are hopeless. They'll never understand that the only thing that pirates, terrorists, and their ilk understand is deadly force. Force like the kind delivered by our gallant snipers this Easter Sunday. That was a gift almost as wonderful as the original Easter present. Liberals don't get it but the rest of us certainly do. This country faced a thorny situation and we came out on top. We killed the enemy and saved our own. America 3, pirates 0! BOOOOOOYAAAAAAH!

Animal Rights Nuts Strike Again

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Animal rights (AR) activists, epitomized by the PETAniks, are a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Actually, they're a WHOLE LOT of sandwiches short of a picnic. And their latest antics prove it.

You see, back in December vice-president Joe Biden's wife got him a German Shepherd puppy as a post-election gift. Cool, right? You'd think so, but it was a travesty to the AR whackos. Upon learning that Mrs. Biden got her puppy from a breeder the AR nutjobs quickly launched into attack mode. Linda Brown, the poor breeder in question, was vilified, scorned, subjected to harassing investigations by dog wardens, and even had her life threatened. Needless to say, she's never selling another puppy to a high profile person again. But why the anger from the PETAniks and other AR creeps? I thought they wanted animals to have good homes. Here's where I learned something.

The devoted-to-animals-but-willing-to-kill-people crowd does want animals to have good homes, but only shelter animals. Their "reasoning" is that every animal bought from a breeder equals one less animal "adopted" from a shelter, resulting in one more animal euthananized. I know, I know; that's why I put the word reasoning in quotations. Even a child can see this isn't a zero sum game. I'm telling you these animal rights folks just aren't playing with full decks. I mean, think about it.

Even if every pet owner got his pet from a shelter animals would still be killed there. Why? Because, for one reason or another, some animals are always going to end up in shelters and there aren't always going to be enough people who can take them. Say you have an animal shelter with 100 animals in a village of 1,000 people, only 10 of whom want to own a pet. For a variety of reasons those 10 people won't be able to take in all 100 shelter animals. So, the "left over" animals will have to be, ahem, taken care of. Sad, but true, to quote Metallica.

Raising hell at puppy breeders won't solve the problem of too many shelter animals. Many people get their pets from neighbors, friends, or family members, bypassing both breeders and shelters. Are the animal rights weirdos going to attack those people, too? The AR crowd needs to wise up (I know, that's asking a lot). If a puppy, kitten, or some other animal finds a home, that's a GOOD thing. It doesn't matter where the animal came from. You'd think the supposed animal lovers would get that and just be happy. But then they'd have to use some logic. Ain't gonna happen.

Obama Joke

I came across this in the comments section of my friend Robert's blog. It was written by The Hawg!. It tickled me; hope it tickles you.

Question: What's the difference between Obama and a drunken sailor on shore leave?

Answer: The sailor spends his own money.

Blacks Behaving Badly

I guess having a Black president just isn't enough for some Black folks. No, they have to go and raise a child rapist and cop killer to the level of a saint before they can feel good about themselves. What am I talking about? I'm talking about those huge wastes of DNA who marched in support of child rapist and cop killer Lovell Mixon in Oakland, CA.

To bring you up to speed, Lovell Mixon was a career criminal and all around monster who shot five police officers, killing four, in Oakland on March 22. Mixon was on parole for assault with a deadly weapon when he was pulled over for a routine traffic stop. He shot the two traffic cops then later shot three members of a SWAT team, killing two, while barricaded in an apartment. Mixon was killed in the shoot-out with SWAT. His death at the hands of cops instantly made him a hero to the mentally disturbed segment of the Black community in Oakland. That segment held a rally for Mixon after his much-appreciated-by-sane-people demise. This is sick.

If anyone wants to know what's wrong with the Black community just look at the rally for Mixon. Efforts have been made to rationalize this despicable display by claiming it's a reaction to police "terrorism". Now, I'm sure there's been police brutality in Oakland and maybe it's worse there than any place else in America, but turning a child rapist and cop killer into a heroic victim is the worst kind of race hucksterism. Mixon wasn't forced into a life of crime by police brutality, White racism, or anything else. He CHOSE such a life. And not only did he choose that life but he chose to victimize mostly members of his own community. Yet it was his fellow Oaklanders, the folks he terrorized, who marched in his defense. Again, if you want to know what's wrong with the Black community look no further than this.

Blacks need to wise up. Whatever the wrongs of renegade cops or White supremacists, the hard truth is that more Blacks are killed by their "homies" than by police or the Klan. Every day Blacks are sacrificed on the altar of thuggery by other Blacks. Every day the Black community is ravaged by its own. Blaming this on anyone or anything other than the garbage who is doing it accomplishes nothing. Social justice is NOT served by a mindless adherence to the doctrine of endless victimization. Making a hero out of Lovell Mixon assures the continued debasement of the Black community by sending the message to young Blacks that crime pays, if only after death. Why work, study, obey the law, and strive to succeed when it's the pond scum who get the glory?

The deification of Lovell Mixon is cause for deep embarassment and concern for every Black person. Mixon was a monster; there wasn't a redeeming thing about him. Getting killed by the cops is what he deserved. Getting shunned like the proverbial plague is what Mixon's worshippers deserve. Turning their backs on those racial radicals is the least decent, rational Blacks can do. Honoring true heroes, like Dr. Benjamin Carson or Colin Powell, is also an absolute must. Young Blacks MUST understand that thuggery is not the way to success and respect. They MUST understand that they are victims ONLY if they choose to be. Rallying around a child rapist and cop killer is an exercise in mean-spirited extremism and communal suicide. It has to stop. NOW!

"Life Is Cheap"

My blogging friend Roadie over at Roadhouse Blog--you can find him in my blogroll--is a great writer and has published lots of posts that I really like. He graciously gave me permission to reprint a couple of his posts and I'm reprinting the first one here; it's about stem cell research. Roadie has about the clearest layman's explanation of this issue that I've read. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Life is Cheap
by Roadie

Not satisfied with merely peeking into Pandora's box, this week President Obama decided to go ahead and rip the lid off of it in yet another decision designed to show how sophisticated and compassionate he is in comparison to the evil President Bush. Yes, I'm talking about stem cell research. Part of the problem with this particular issue is the mass lack of education of the people on the topic. So here is a very basic tutorial to bring you up to speed.

Stem cells are like the building blocks that our bodies are made of. As technology advances, it is hoped that these cells can be programmed to regenerate faulty organs or even entire nervous systems. It is believed that the cures for cancer or even AIDS will be found via stem cell research. For the record, I believe this myself.

So, what's the problem? Well, there's a little problem with how you go about getting those stem cells. Stem cells can be found in more than one place. They can be found in living adult bodies by taking samples of skin tissue or even bone marrow, without harm to the donor of course. These are known as "adult stem cells". [Stem cells] can also be found in the blood [in] the discarded umbilical cords of newborns, also without harm to the donor. These are known as "cord blood stem cells". Sounds pretty cool so far...right? Now for the controversial part.

Another place [stem] cells can be found [is] in human embryos. These cells are called "embryonic stem cells". For all of you who slept through biology class, an emryo is a person in his/her earliest stages of life. Yes, I said "person". An embryo is not going to grow up to become a tree, a toaster, or an I-pod. It's going to grow to become a person, assuming there are no complications in development. At this point, the uninformed (liberals) might assume the stem cell controversy is just another case of "Bible thumpers" trying to define when life actually starts. Though that is an issue, it's not the issue...at least not for me. My issue is what I call "people farming".

A few years ago there was a moderately successful movie that starred Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson called "The Island". The premise was that there was a corporation whose clients would supply them with DNA in order for them to grow, stock, and "maintain" identical twins for later use as organ donors, according to the need of that client. These "donors" are kept alive in a facility and [are] completely unaware of their purpose thanks to eleborate system of lies and facades controlled by the corporation. As you can imagine, the corporation falls apart when the truth is discovered after the escape of Ewan's and Scartlett's characters. It was early into this movie that I realized that Hollywood had inadvertently provided us with a brilliant case against embryonic stem cells. Though the "big screen" version of the consequences of treating people as parts bins may be a tad exaggerated, it does vividly force you to consider the ethics of such a thing.

I would like to think that there are not people out there who would look at embryonic stem cell research as a way to make a fast buck...but I know better. I would like to think that there will be no pharmaceutical companies that will offer money for the embryos, or women willing to accept such offers...but I know better.

Now that we have decided that embryos are little more than "raw material" to be used at our disposal, I have to wonder what the next step will be. Where will the line be moved to next? Fetuses? Infants? Toddlers? Teens? At what next point do we decide [not] too old to be used as a guinea pig under the false premise of "the greater good" or "science"? Who will get the honor of making that decision?

Also, keep in mind that it is only the media and leftists politicians who imply that conservatives are against all forms of stem cell research. Truth be told, we are for stem cell research just not the type that requires the death of another person.

The Deliverer Speaketh

Well, the Deliverer held his second press conference tonight and all I can really say is, "Yawn!". This was one of the most boring things I've seen on tv in a long time. Anyone who thinks that Barack Obama is an innately charismatic speaker was disillusioned tonight. Unless it's written for him, the guy can't put two sentences together. And his charm bulb was out, too. The man definitely did NOT dazzle. Seeing the Chosen One tonight was like seeing a Hollywood starlet without her makeup. Ewwwwwwww!

"If I Die Before You Wake"

Here's another tribute to our magnificent armed forces from another entertainer who gets it. I found this video when I went on YouTube to look for something completely different. This tribute to our fighting men and women was in the Recommended For You section when I logged in to the site. The title of the song intrigued me and I decided to give the vid a look see. Boy, am I glad I did! And you will be, too. The poignant song is by Dustin Evans. I don't know who he is but he gets a big thumbs up for this heartfelt musical tribute to the ones who keep us free and safe. Good on you, Dustin!

God bless America and God bless our troops!

Dissed!

Well, The Charmer has gotten a response to his let's-be-friends video overture to the Iranians. Essentially, it was, "Fvck you!".

Ok, the Iranians weren't THAT blunt, but they might as well have been. Their supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, retorted to the Big O that his words were hollow if there weren't any substantive changes in America's foreign policy, particularly our "unconditional support" for Israel. Khamenei and his corp of hardliners are committed to the principles of the Islamic Revolution. They're not giving them up just because Obama is a Black, winsome leftie.

Simply put, the Iranians weren't charmed by Obama's good looks, winning smile, or brown skin, which must have been quite unsettling to Dear Leader. After all, he is counting on his star quality to dazzle our foes into submission. Clearly, he's got his work cut out for him with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Those damn Persians!

What Will Sean Say?!

Barack Obama sent a video yesterday to the Iranian people on the occassion of their holiday Nowruz (spelling?). Obama was signaling a new direction in America's relationship with the Islamic Republic. Obama told the Iranians that his administration was committed to diplomacy and mutual respect with Iran. No word yet on the Iranian government's reaction but I'm waiting on reaction from Hollywood leftist and lover-of-America's-enemies, Sean Penn. Why? Well, it's like this.

Everyone knows about Sean's best actor win at the Academy Awards a few weeks ago. In his victory speech Sean gave a tongue lashing to opponents of gay marriage, saying they should be ashamed of themselves. Now, however, Sean's god, Barack Obama, wants to extend respect to a regime that executes gays. Obama wants to normalize America's relationship with a nation that doesn't allow gays to live. Just what is Sean Penn going to say about that?

Obama's diplomatic shenanigans put Penn and virtually every liberal in a bind. When it comes to American use of force, liberals like to act anti-war. For nearly eight years they denounced George W. Bush as a "war criminal" and religiously touted diplomacy as the answer to the world's problems. However, liberals also love to rail against "homophobia" and to act indignant about such things as Proposition 8 and the military's don't ask/don't tell policy. They act like these things are the worst atrocities on the planet. Now their Messiah is extending a friendly hand to people who actually KILL gays! What to do? What to do?

Liberals are neither consistent nor rational. Rather, they are profoundly Orwellian, willing to support or oppose anything or anyone if it's deemed necessary to advance their agenda. Obama's overture to Iran, then, will probably be hailed as an act of greatness by the Left, including the dimwits in Hollywood. They will simply ignore the contradiction between howling for gay rights while gushing over their Chosen One's "peace" initiative with one of the gay community's worst enemies.

Sean Penn loves gays. Sean Penn loves Obama. Obama loves people who murder gays. What will Sean Penn say about that? NOTHING!

A President, Not A Celebrity

Barack Obama just keeps doing things that make it harder and harder for me to even think of respecting him. Schmoozing with a domestic terrorist. Hanging with an America hating preacher. Undermining the War on Terror. Grovelling to our enemies. Compared to those antics Obama's latest stunt may seem trivial, but it highlights what irks me about the man and his presidency. And what has Obama done now? He went on Jay Leno's The Tonight Show (TTS) tonight.

That's right. Barack Obama, sitting POTUS, hopped on a plane and landed his presidential arse on a vehicle for lightweight Hollywoodism. Now this would be a non-issue if Obama were still campaigning for president, but the campaign is over. Obama IS president now, and his appearance on TTS is highly unbecoming.

Tuesday night, Bill O'Reilly discussed Obama's upcoming appearance on Leno's show with journalist and author Bernard Goldberg. Goldberg opined that Obama going on The Tonight Show would be a totally win-win situation for him, but I disagree. While palling around with Leno might be a good idea for Obama in the short run it could cost him in the long run, especially as our economic situation continues to deteriorate.

Americans want a president, not a celebrity, in the White House. Launching a charm offensive on a tv show is NO way for the POTUS to handle the nation's problems, or the slipping poll numbers those problems are causing. This suggests that Obama really believes his own press and thinks his very presence is dazzling. Not hardly. It insults Americans for Obama to think he can just grin and joke on camera and we, the people, will go orgasmic and forget about his incompetence. No way. I'll go orgasmic over Russell Crowe, thank you very much. I have a very different take on politicians, especially the Chosen One. There will be no big o for the Big O from this girlie; just a blunt assessment of his job performance which, to date, is a joke. But you won't hear that on The Tonight Show.

A St. Paddy's Day Wish

I know this is late as the day's almost over, but I got this from a kind store clerk tonight and I wanted to share it with everyone. This isn't just for St. Patrick's Day. The sentiments in this Irish wish are appropriate for any time. Spread them around, and God bless you!

A St. Paddy's Day Wish

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the warm rays of the sun fall upon your home.
And may the hand of a friend always be near.

May green be the grass you walk on.
May blue be the skies above you.
May pure be the joys that surround you.
May true be the hearts that love you.

May you be poor in misfortune,
And rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.

Spread the love, God Bless, and Erin Go Bragh!

What's With This Guy?

Crisis. Catastrophe. Worst since the Depression. These were the words and phrases Barack Obama used back in February when trying to scare us into supporting his GINORMOUS "stimulus" bill. If we didn't do something, we were told, the economy would collapse and our way of life along with it. There was no time to waste on debate or actually reading the "stimulus" bill, Obama warned; big and bold action was needed NOW! And with that fearmongering--and a Democrat controlled Congress--Obama got his quasi-socialist spending spree. Then Great Leader changed his tune.

Now Obama--the all-wise, all-knowing Obama--is saying that America's economy is basically sound. WHAT?! What happened to the economic catastrophe that was imminent just a few short weeks ago? It has vanished with the Chosen One's need to reassure the Chinese that their investments in the US are safe. You see people, Obama is expecting the Chinese to help pay for his porkulus package by buying US bonds. However, China is worried about the solvency of the 1 TRILLION dollars it already has invested in our national debt. Chinese Premire Wen Jiabao said that his country was "concerned about the safety of our assets." Obama sought to reassure Wen by insisting that China could have "absolute confidence" in the safety of its assets.

Absolute confidence? Oh, really? Since when? Where was Obama's absolute confidence in the US economy back in February? Certainly not in his desperate, panic-inducing speeches predicting doom if his "recovery" plan wasn't inacted. But once his plan became law and the Big O needed Chinese cash to fuel it, he suddenly discovered that America's economy was sound. Go figure. It seems that the only "change" Obama is really bringing to America is jangling in the pockets of the Chinese government. So, not only is the Great One spending our grandchildren's wealth, he's making them as well as us indebted to a nation that means us no good. Excuse me, Obama, but your inexperience is showing.

It's time for a "Don't blame me. I voted for McCain" bumper sticker.

"I Certainly Hope He Doesn't Succeed"

Well, the liberal hypocrisy train just keeps on rolling. After the Dems/libs contorted themselves into fits of rage over Rush Limbaugh's now infamous statement hoping Barack Obama fails, we now have word that none other than Democratic strategist James Carville wished the SAME tidings on George W. Bush on, of all days, September 11, 2001. Yes, THAT September 11. It went something like this.

Carville was at a breakfast with Washington reporters when, just minutes before learning of the 9/11 attacks, he remarked regarding Bush, "I certainly hope he doesn't succeed." The words of Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg, who was also at the breakfast, were even more antagonistic. Greenberg said he wanted Americans "to turn against [Bush]", and was incredulous that they didn't want to. "They don't want him to fail," Greenberg whined. "I mean, they think it matters if the president of the United States fails."

There you have it folks. Two of the Dems' bigwigs drooling over the prospect of a Bush failure only a few months into his presidency. After that naked display of mean-spirited partisanship how can Dems/libs believe they are in any position to condemn Rush? Ah, but they do!

Shortly after his slur was exposed Carville tried to defend himself by saying that he told the gathered reporters to disregard his anti-Bush remarks immediately after he heard of the terrorist attacks. And that's true. After learning of the attacks, Carville DID tell the reporters, "Disregard everything we just said! This changes everything!". And I'm sure Carville meant that at the time. 9/11 shocked a lot of liberals back into patriotism but for most of them--not necessarily Carville included--that sentiment had evaporated within a year of the Towers falling. By the time the Iraq war started liberals were back into full we-want-Bush/America-to-fail/lose mode. Oh, yes they were.

Fast forward six years and now those same lefties are having a nervous breakdown over Rush hoping quasi-socialist Obamanomics fail. Rush didn't say he wanted Obama PERSONALLY to fail. He didn't call Obama a Nazi, a tyrant, a war criminal, or a chimpanzee as liberals were so fond of calling Bush. Rather, Rush limited his consternation strictly to Obama's POLICIES. He wasn't trading in mindless ideological hatred, which is more than can be said for his leftist critics.

The truth is, all those liberals who are now saying we should give Obama a chance and not criticize him so soon were itching for Bush to fail only a few months into his presidency. Well, what's good for the liberal goose is good for the conservative gander. Rush Limbaugh, or anyone else, is free to opine on Barack Obama's success or lack thereof. Obama is not entitled to support simply because he's president, a sentiment liberals would wholeheartedly agree with if Bush were still in office. Rush scrutinized Obama's policies and found them wanting, and he said so. Liberals, that is his American right. Get over it.

33 Minutes, Part 2

The Big O is at it again. Putting his faith in the goodwill of the Russians and the Iranians wasn't enough, now the Brilliant One is going to save us by reaching out to the moderate Taliban. Yeah, I know. Moderate Taliban? That's like believing in moderate Nazis. But then again, British PM Neville Chamberlain DID believe in moderate Nazis and staked the security of his nation and the world on it. We all know how that turned out. And now we have Neville Chamberlain, Jr.

Obama's plan, which is supported by Afghan president Harmid Karzai, goes something like this. America and the Afghan government are to reach out to "moderate" Taliban folks, you know, the nice ones who really want to stop fighting but are too scared to just lay down their weapons and go home. We are to "engage" them and let them know they're welcome back into the fold, no hard feelings. After all, Afghanistan is complicated, explained Obama, and new approaches are needed. Whew! I thought the Sultan of Surrender was getting ready to, well, surrender. But no, he's just using new approaches to Afghanistan. Glad he cleared that up!

I guess this could be worse. At least the Taliban don't have nukes. But considering that they are sandwiched between nuclear armed Pakistan and nuclear wannabe Iran, I wouldn't be surprised if they got their radical hands on some WMDs sooner rather than later. And what would Mr. Diplomacy do then? Oh that's right, trust the Russians. What was I thinking? Silly me.

33 Minutes

Barack Obama is either a clueless dolt, a traitor, or both. I'm leaning toward both. Why? Because, in this age of rapidly spreading nuclear ballistic missile capabilities, Obama wants to bargain away our nation's ability to defend herself against such a threat. That's right. The man who declared in his DNC speech, "Don't tell me Democrats don't want to defend this country!", is proving that they don't.

In a stunningly naive and dangerous move, the Chosen One has offered to forego America's missile defense shield in Eastern Europe if Russia, which vehemently opposes the shield, would convince Iran to abandon it's nuclear quest. Obama's Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, took this proposal to the Russians on, of all days, Friday the 13th. The Russians' reaction was, thankfully, lukewarm. Let's understand what's at stake here.

In our increasingly shrinking world, it takes a mere 33 minutes for a ballistic missile to reach America from just about anywhere on earth, including Iran. You read that right. 33 minutes. 33 minutes to find a bomb shelter. 33 minutes for our military to mount a non-shield defense. 33 minutes until thousands of Americans die. You'd think any president would jump at the chance to protect America from this danger, and you'd be wrong. Obama rejects that chance. Instead, he seeks to trust America's safety to the goodwill of the Russians and the Iranians. Gimme a break!

Today's Russia is an authoritarian state that kills it's dissidents, threatens its neighbors, and is led by a KGB man's protege. Iran is an Islamic tyranny that executes gays and rape victims and whose president calls for Israel's destruction and denies the Holocaust. These are the countries that the Brilliant One thinks are trustworthy. These are the countries he wants to trust our LIVES to.

Is this what Obama meant by "aggressive diplomacy"? Is this what Dems meant when they talked about "restoring America's image" abroad? That we give up our ability to defend ourselves in exchange for mere promises from tyrants? Frighteningly, this does indeed appear to be what Obama and the Dems meant. No need to invest in a missile defense system; the Russians will talk the Persians out of their nuclear ambitions. Diplomacy saves the day!

It is 33 minutes to midnight...on Obama's watch. Heaven help us.

Hypocrisy Central

By now everybody and his grandmother knows about Rush Limbaugh's "notorious" statement hoping Obama fails. The resulting brouhaha has lasted for several weeks now and it's been a hoot watching the shamelessly hypocritical reaction of liberals. No sooner had Rush uttered his "infamous" opinion then the Left let out a howl of protest. How dare he, they fumed. How dare Rush hope that Obama fails. Why, that was the same thing as wanting America to fail. How could Rush be so unpatriotic?! Such outrage from the very people who trashed George W. Bush for eight years. Like I said, the liberals' hypocrisy is astounding.

Let's remember what actually happened here. Rush did NOT call Obama Hitler. He didn't call Obama a Nazi, a fascist, or a chimpanzee, all names liberals routinely called Bush during his presidency. Rush didn't question Obama's intelligence or his compassion as liberals did to Bush. Rush didn't engage in those sorts of personal attacks. No, what Rush DID do was proclaim his hope that Obama's policies fail. And he explained that he wanted those policies to fail because he believes they're bad for America. Yet you'd think Rush called Obama a nigger the way liberals have gone cuckoo over his remarks.

These are the same liberals, mind you, who spent eight years tearing George W. Bush apart. The same liberals who, almost from day one, hoped and worked for George W. Bush to fail. The same liberals who desperately wanted America to fail in Iraq (and, earlier, in Vietnam). The same liberals who convicted the Haditha Marines without benefit of a trial, and then never apologized when they were exonerated. The same liberals who, on websites, in movies, and in the streets, rooted for our enemies while smearing our troops as raping, murdering thugs. These are the liberals who are now outraged at Rush Limbaugh. Barf bag, please!

I thought liberals believed that dissent is the lifeblood of a democracy. I thought they believed that criticism is the highest form of patriotism and vital to improving the country. That's what they told us when engaged in their anti-Bush/anti-military/anti-American diatribes. Now the truth is out: liberals believe dissent and criticism are good ONLY when they're NOT directed at their guy. Trashing George W. Bush is legitimate dissent. Smearing our troops is legitimate criticism. Hoping Obama's odious economic policies fail is not. Hypocrisy! Hypocrisy!

But wait! Didn't conservatives chastise liberals for their harsh critiques of Bush? Didn't conservatives say such talk was unpatriotic? So, aren't they now being hypocritical for lambasting Obama? Unequivocally, no.

Conservatives criticized many of Bush's policies, especially his policy on illegal immigration. They also criticized Bush over his fiscal sloppiness, the Dubai ports fiasco, and Harriet Miers' nomination to the Supreme Court. And they criticized Bush's failure to correctly and boldly name the enemy in the War on Terror. Conservatives were never shy about disapproving of Bush's policies when they thought they warranted disapproval. What they rejected and condemned was the rabid hatred of Bush that the Left practiced, and continues to practice, like a religion. That hatred utterly disqualifies liberals from voicing any disapproval of anything any conservative might say about Obama.

So Rush Limbaugh said he hopes Obama fails in his plans to socialize America. Leftists said much, much worse about Bush. Now they're getting back some of their own medicine and they don't like the taste. Too bad.

Go Rush!!!!

My Greenery

This post will be a change from what I've been writing about lately. It's not about politics or Obama, which I've been getting pretty tired of actually. Instead, I'm going to write about my views on a subject that can be made political and even spiritual, though it really shouldn't be. Since this is the first day of March, the month that spring begins, I'm going to write about the environment.

I am not, repeat NOT, an environmentalist. To me, that word has too many negative associations and connotations. When I hear the word "environmentalist" I immediately picture eco-freaks who chain themselves to trees, set fire to housing developments, throw paint on people wearing fur coats, and actually worship the earth. I picture people for whom nature is an actual god and "saving" it is their religion. That's NOT me!

Don't get me wrong. I don't believe in abusing nature. I don't believe in polluting the earth. I want clean air and clean water. I want a healthy food supply. I believe we should reduce, reuse, and/or recycle as much as we can. I believe we should diversify our energy sources and use fossil fuels less and less. In short, I want a clean earth, but I want it the way I want a clean bath tub. For me it's primarily a matter of practicality. And I think that's where I and most other conservatives part ways with the left on the issue of the environment.

For many left-wingers environmentalism is, as I've said, a religion. It's a kind of neo-paganism that is very antithetical to the Judeo-Christian worldview, which many leftists often blame for environmental destruction. Many leftists are militantly "secular" vis-a-vis Biblical monotheism, but they still have a spiritual hunger. They want a "god", though, that won't make the same demands on them that the Bible's God does. Leftists especially don't want a god who tells them how to live their sexual lives. They found such a "god" in Mother Nature.

I'm a conservative who cares about the environment. I'm not looking for a god. I already have one, thank you very much. Nevertheless, I understand people need to protect nature even as we use it to meet our needs. And I do believe that we humans have a right to use nature to meet our needs. We just need to be careful about how we do it. If we cut down trees for lumber, for instance, we need to make sure we replenish the forest. Planting two trees for every one we fell makes good sense. That will keep the forest growing, which means there'll always be lumber for us to use. Keeping the forest lush and healthy will certainly benefit wildlife, and that's a good thing, but the ultimate objective is providing for human need. And that's another place where I part company with the leftist, neo-pagan environmentalists.

I believe in taking care of the natural world, but I don't see that as an end in itself. The environmentalists do. Sure, I think we should keep many natural places unspoiled and pristine. Natural beauty is a gift from God. I mean that; it's not a platitude for me. However, the natural world also was meant to be the source for all that humans need to live. That, too, is a gift from God. And that's where the spiritual component of caring for nature comes in for me.

I don't see nature as a self-existing end in itself. I see it as God's creation. It IS God's creation. And so are people. We, nature, and animals are all "equal" in that we are all creations of God, but God has made us qualitatively different. Humans are superior to animals and nature. We alone are created in God's image. We alone have the ability to worship God and do His will. And His will is for us to take care of nature. People are to be good stewards of the natural world that God made for us. Stewardship, not environmentalism, is the word for me.

We are to take good care of this garden that is the earth because it belongs to God. We have a God-given right to use any and all natural resources to meet our needs. We don't have the right, though, to abuse or misuse the earth or anything on it. Felling trees for lumber to build homes is good; wantonly hacking down every tree in sight is not. Killing animals for food is good; hunting animals to extinction is not. We humans didn't create anything on the earth, including ourselves; therefore, we have no right to wipe any creature out. That is an affront to God's sovereignty. Caring for the natural world and using its abundance wisely is showing reverence for God and His sovereignty.

I say it again. I'm a conservative who cares about the earth as many other conservatives do. I care about it in both a practical and a spiritual way. I believe humans are the highest lifeform on the planet and have a God-given right to rule it, but not abuse it. We are subject to God's authority and will answer to Him for any unbridled misuse of His creation. That reality, more than any fear of some natural apocalypse or any belief that nature is divine, is what motivates me to do my small part to maintain the ecological balance. This is God's world; He expects nothing less.

Tribute To The Marines

If you like "The March Of Cambreath", the first song in my collection of battle hymns, then you'll love this video tribute to the mighty Marines set to this stirring war cry. While I love and admire ALL of our armed forces I must admit that, as the niece of a leatherneck, the Marines hold a special place in my heart. So pull up a chair, turn up your PC speakers, and feast on this awesome tribute to the Few, the Proud, the American Terminators...the MARINES!!!!!

Blessed are the Terminators for they send our enemies to hell!!!!

Will Someone Please Explain?

Will someone please explain Barack Obama to me?

I saw in my local paper yesterday and again on Yahoo! News today that the Big O plans to halve our nation's 1 trillion dollar plus deficit by 2013--after he spends almost another trillion on his "stimulus" package. Now, I admit I'm mathematically challenged so it seems a little strange to me to think you can halve the amout of something by adding to it. But then, I'm not Barack Obama or a liberal so I must be missing the magic.

Still, it's rather audacious of our national Guru to say something like this. I guess he's trying to find a balance between his we're-facing-a-catastrophe rhetoric and his hope-over-fear routine. And the Chosen One HAS offered a few details on achieving his goal. Like a true liberal Obama plans to start downsizing the deficit by defunding the war in Iraq. Supposedly, this will save billions in the effort to halve the deficit. BUT, Obama also plans to send 17,000 more troops to Afghanistan which--you guessed it!--will cost money. So, where is the money for those troops going to come from? If Obama just transfers money from Iraq to Afghanistan then said money will continue to contribute to the deficit. On the other hand, if Obama really takes the cost of the Iraq war out of the budget he'll have to find cash for his Afghan surge from somewhere. Enter his second deficit busting tactic: tax the rich.

Ahhhhhh! Nothing like a little class warfare to get the blood running! Tax the rich? Yeah, right. Most people with an ounce of intelligence know that all of us can be defined as "rich" so the government can take our money. And by implying that "rich" means a person is some how shady libtards like the Big O try to convince us that punishing success is ok. It's not, and this strategy will fail. Taxing the rich will reduce the deficit like a sugar pill will stop a headache. And trust me, when Obama gets through with America we'll ALL have a headache.

I don't know what kind of math classes Obama had in school but they were definitely different from the kinds I was in. I learned that you reduce the size of something by taking AWAY from it. It's called subtraction. Big word. Obama might want to google it.

A Rocker Who Gets It

I don't listen to a lot of Kid Rock so I didn't know about this song. It's called "Warrior" and it's a tribute to the Army National Guard. I saw the video tonight when I was at the movies. I was deeply moved by both the video and the song. I wish more rockers were patriotic enough to sing songs and make videos like this. I'm sending a shout out to Kid Rock. Kid, you did a good 'un!

It Was Ok When Lincoln Did It

Liberals howled about it during almost the whole of George W. Bush's presidency. Bush, they screamed, had destroyed the Constitution by suspending the right to a writ of habeas corpus. He was Hitler reborn; Americans had lost their "sacred freedoms", to quote Hollywood dunce Robert Redford. What was the cause of this hysteria? The fact that most of the Guantanamo detainees didn't get their day in court, which is essentially what the writ of habeas corpus means. Bush was a demon to the libtards for not giving Ramzi El Kaboom a lawyer, a lazy boy and a cup of tea, all at the tax payers' expense. He had to go! Enter the Chosen One, Barack Obama.

During his presidential campaign Obama signalled that he would overturn many of Bush's War on Terror policies. In his inaugural speech Dear Leader made a reference to we Americans not having to choose between our safety and our ideals, a direct jab at Bush. Ok, that sounds fine. Let Obama give Ramzi El Kaboom and all his cohorts all the rights of Americans even though they're not Americans, but while he's at it Obama must drop his worship of Abraham Lincoln. Why? Here's why.

If Obama really opposes denying anyone, even enemy combatants trying to kill Americans, the right to habeas corpus then he can't be an admirer of Lincoln because HE suspended the right to habeas corpus! That's right. Honest Abe flipped the bird to this cherished right during the Civil War. And unlike Bush, Lincoln revoked this right from actual Americans, not enemy fighters. History's a bitch, ain't it?

So what's Obama to do? He's made much of his admiration for our 16th president. The Big O, like almost all Americans, gushes rather unthinkingly over Lincoln, and there IS much to admire about both Lincoln the president and Lincoln the man. But the fact remains that the Great Emancipator squashed a key constitutional right during wartime. He also closed down opposition newspapers and had 13,000 Americans, about .065% of the North's population, arrested for criticizing him. To equal that feat Bush would've had to close down virtually every big city newspaper plus NPR radio and cable outlets like CNN and MSNBC. He would then have had to arrest nearly 200,000 Americans for protesting against his policies. Of course, none of that happened. But Lincoln did it. And Obama goes full steam ahead with his Honest Abe worship.

I'm sure Obama, this scion of the hate America/hate Bush left, totally misses the irony of him admiring a president who did the exact same thing that liberals now excoriate Bush for doing. Habeas corpus is a precious right and suspending it, which the Constitution DOES allow for in times of dire national emergencies, should never be done lightly. But for liberals to act like Bush was demonic for taking habeas corpus away from enemy combatants--which, I reiterate, is different from Lincoln who voided the right for Americans--reeks of historical ignorance and moral dishonesty. If Lincoln is a hero for freeing the slaves and winning the Civil War, despite trampling the Constitution along the way, then Bush is also a hero for keeping us safe from terrorism despite sometimes using less-than-kosher means to do so. Fairness demands no other conclusion, but we're talking about liberals here so we won't get it.

C.R.A.P

I was watching Mike Huckabee's show tonight and he was lamenting the fact that the Big O's "stimulus" bill was so long that no one who voted for it had time to read it. In fact, they didn't even have time to give it a proper name. So Huckabee, not wanting the Obama administration to look bad, kindly decided to give an apt moniker to the Anointed One's economic "recovery" plan: Congressional Relief Action Program, or CRAP. Quite befitting, don't cha think?

The Desperate Deliverer, Part 2

Not content to scare the American people and Congress into supporting and passing his "stimulus" package last Thursday night, Barack Obama is at it again tonight. In his first prime time news conference the Chosen One jumped out of the chute with apocalyptic language designed to scare the hell out of the public and present himself as the saviour. The main theme of his introductory speech tonight was that a catastrophe will engulf the nation if his economic "recovery" bill isn't passed. A catastrophe! Oy vey! Boy I'm glad we have the next best thing to Jesus Christ sitting in the Oval Office.

Obama sounded as desperate tonight as he did last Thursday. There's no time to actually think about what's in the "stimulus" bill, there's only time to pass it. Remember, catastrophe awaits us if we don't. But the Guru also seemed determined to cushion himself from the fallout in case his economic magic bullet doesn't work. More than once the Messiah whined about the policies of the last eight years and how he inherited the current economic mess. Translation: if this "stimulus" thing doesn't work it's Bush's fault. Nope, no partisanship there. No wonder virtually all Congressional Republicans are against this plan.

Barack Obama is very concerned about something but it's not the poor, unemployed folks in middle America; you know, the ones bitterly clinging to their God and their guns. What the Anointed One is worried about is his place in history. He's not satisfied with being the first Black president, he wants to be a heroic president, too. He wants to be a living legend; he wants to be our salvation. This economic plan is designed to get him there...if it works. Dear Leader feverishly hopes it will but for his sake, not yours or mine. Yep, the Deliverer was desperate again tonight. I hope he stays that way.

The Desperate Deliverer

Almost from the moment he stepped unto the national stage Barack Obama has been held up by his devotees as the epitome of cool. But last night, while rallying the Democratic troops in support of his rapidly faltering "stimulus" bill, the Deliverer sounded downright desperate.

Speaking more like a candidate than a sitting president, the Chosen One called for the passage of his pork-laden bill with vehement passion. He returned to his campaign theme of "change" by telling the assembled Dems that Americans didn't elect him and them just so they could play the same old political games. America needs new solutions, American solutions, bipartisan solutions and, by golly, those Democrats had better give 'em to them! And just in case the appeal to "change" didn't work, His Worshipfulness dragged out THE tried and true motivator: fear.

Failure to pass his "stimulus" bill, Dear Leader warned, would lead to economic catastrophe. There was NO time to waste. The bill had to pass NOW! It was the ONLY way to stave off the apocalypse. Yep, nothing like a good ol' round of fearmongering to rev up the folks. The Big O didn't look so innovative and inspiring after that. He also didn't look too tolerant of dissent, either.

While railing against opposition to his "stimulus" package, Great Leader singled out what he called "cable chatter" as part of the problem. I took this to mean the conservative tv talking heads who are taking his bill apart with a fine tooth comb and telling the folks just what's in it. How else can you explain support for the bill dropping like a proverbial rock? Anyhow, the "cable chatter" thing really caught my attention. Was this a hint that conservatives--or anyone else--shouldn't pry too closely into the High One's plans for America? Was this an attempt to set the stage for the return of the terribly misnamed Fairness Doctrine? Methinks I smell a whiff of Stalinism in the air. What say you?

Watching The Great Liberal Hope melt into a puddle of desperation was a hoot. Obviously he's not taking the cold wind of reality too well. But I guess we should expect that after the love fest that was his coronation. After being virtually deified on Janurary 20th, I'm sure the Messiah really believed that all he had to do was sit his brown butt in the Oval Office and utopia would break out. It didn't and his stunned reaction is soooooooo funny! The next four years might be rather tolerable after all. Hee, hee.

The Cute Chubby Kid

I was asked by my political sparring partner, Virgomonkey, who the "cute chubby kid" is in my profile picture. She is BB Kiddo, daughter of Beatrice Kiddo--aka Uma Thurman--from the movie "Kill Bill, Vol. 2". I love this picture of BB--aka Perla Haney-Jardine--because she looks so damn cute but also so damn ready to kill. Sweet!

Love That Judge!

Just when you thought defeatism was about to grab America by the throat thanks to Obama, a military judge with balls defied the appeaser-in-chief and refused to stop military tribunal proceedings against a Gitmo suspect.

Judge James Pohl on Thursday refused to halt the arraignment of Abu al-Nashiri, the alledged mastermind of the USS Cole bombing which killed 17 US sailors and injured 50 more. Judge Pohl said that delaying proceedings against al-Nashiri would harm "the public interest in a speedy trial". Frankly, I could care less if that's true or not. If Judge Pohl is defying Obama purely for political reasons that's alright with me. If he's defying the messiah because he's a military man and knows better than a liberal like Obama ever could just what kind of scum the terrorists are, that's even better. Either way I'm giving the judge a high five.

Pohl is taking a risk here. Two other military judges bowed to Obama's executive order and stopped trials against terror suspects. Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morell said Pohl will be "told to comply with" the order, too. Just how Judge Pohl will be "told" to obey isn't clear, but if the Pentagon is smart it'll leave Judge Pohl alone. Obama will, too. Judge James Pohl is doing what a military man is supposed to do: defend this country. If he's being hampered in that duty by an appeaser-in-chief beholden to the defeatist left he needs our support and our prayers.

I'm with you, Judge Pohl! You're now my boyfriend, along with Geert Wilders (ooooo, kinky!). Keep sticking it to all the Ramzi El Kabooms* unfortunate enough to fall into your hands. Not every American is an Obama loving defeatist. A lot of us still want the military to do what it's supposed to do: strike terror into the hearts of our enemies. Keep doing your bit, JP, to terrorize those stupid enough to touch a hair on an American's head. You've got my thumbs up, and God bless!

*Ramzi El Kaboom isn't original to me. I heard Dennis Miller say it on The O'Reilly Factor and liked it so much I just had to use it in a post.

Bipartisanship We Can Believe In

Barack Obama campaigned on a platform of change. Part of the change he promised to deliver was an end to bitter ideological bickering and a new burst of happy bipartisanship. Well, in the House's showdown over his stimulus package on Wednesday, Obama got a taste of a bipartisanship that he almost certainly wasn't expecting. Rather than have some Republicans coming over to his socialist side, the Big O saw eleven Democrats buck his big government trend and vote with the unanimously nay saying Republicans. Below is a list of the independent Dems who gave America bipartisanship we can believe in...and stuck it to the messiah.

Roll Of Honor

Rep. Allen Boyd (D, FL-2)
Rep. Bobby Bright (D, AL-2)
Rep. Jim Cooper (D, TN-5)
Rep. Brad Ellsworth (D, IN-8)
Rep. Parker Griffith (D, AL-5)
Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D, PA-11)
Rep. Frank Kratovil (D, MD-1)
Rep. Walter Minnick (D, ID-1)
Rep. Collin Peterson (D, MN-7)
Rep. Heath Shuler (D, NC-11)
Rep. Gene Taylor (D, MS-4)

I want to thank these Democratic Representatives for casting a skeptical eye on their leader's grandiose economic vision for America. Keep up the good work guys! Bipartisanship rocks!

Democratic Truth, Part 2

With his executive order to close Gitmo and suspend military tribunals for terrorists and his commitment to funding foreign family planning groups that promote abortion, Obama is really living up to the truth to the left...far left.

Never Fear! Superwuss Is Here!

Ahhhhhhhhh!

That sound you heard was the collective sigh of relief from terrorists worldwide because they now have a friend in the White House.

Just three days into his administration Barack Obama has rushed to the NONdefense of America. With the stroke of a pen Obama kept a campaign promise to his treasonous, far-left base and signed an executive order to close Guantanamo prison within a year. Exactly where will the terrorists now housed at Gitmo go? The Sultan of Surrender hasn't figured that out yet. But since he's so loved in Hollywood maybe he can call up Brangelina and ask them if they'd take in some more deprived Third Worlders. This whole thing just makes me sick.

Obama hasn't been in power for a week and he's committed himself to dismantling the only successful anti-terror strategy America's ever had. His predecessors from Carter to Clinton treated terrorism as a law enforcement matter and we kept getting attacked; George W. Bush treated it as a war and kept this nation safe for seven years. And liberals will never forgive him for that.

Don't be fooled by liberals' squawking about human rights or restoring America's image; they care about neither. The libtards don't want Gitmo closed, military tribunals suspended, and warrantless witertapping stopped because they're commited to civil liberties or improving America's name abroad. No, what they want, what they crave like a starving wolf craves a deer, is defeat. They want defeat for America in Iraq. They want defeat for America in Afghanistan. They want defeat for America in the larger war on terror. And now they have a president who will give it to them.

Liberals will deny this, of course. They will actually try to claim that dismantling Bush's anti-terror policies will make America safer. If, they'll say, we're nice to the terrorists, give them rights, and try to understand them we'll look great to the Muslim world and the Islamic fanatics will be swayed to lay down their arms. And presto! no more terrorist attacks on the USA. Yeah, right. And I want to sell you fried ice cream.

As I've said before, liberals are wedded to a narrative that casts America as uniquely guilty and, therefore, unworthy of the moral right to be right. For liberals America, as Obama's pastor friend Michael Pfleger put it, needs to pay. They believe that America deserves violent blowback. The terrorists, then, aren't really the problem; they're just reacting to America's provocations and injustices against them. America is the problem and that's why liberals want Gitmo closed. We have no right to detain people who are simply giving us what we deserve. That's what the Left believes. That's what Obama believes. And that's why he ordered Guantanamo to close.

Never fear! Superwuss is here!

Smarter Than Most Americans

An Irishman calling himself Jigsaw made the following comment on Wise Conservatism, my friend Robert's blog. I'm sharing it here because this Celt gets it like too many Americans don't.

"Hello, I am from Ireland and watched the campaign with interest! My take on President Obama is how on earth [can] a guy with no experience, no leadership history, and a guy linked to terrorists get to be president? All because he sounds good and looks like he stepped off a film set playing the president? I think it will all end in tears although I hope not for America's sake. If a guy here in Ireland had any links at all to an unrepentant IRA terrorist he would not get elected. I cannot get my head around that one!"

Jigsaw is so right. The Americans who voted for McCain can't get their heads around it, either. And, like Jig, I fear that this will all end in tears. I feel like we are Germany, 1933 only it won't take us twelve years to become Germany, 1945. God HELP America!

NO!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it. I just read on Yahoo! News that Israel's Security Council (SC) voted to impose a unilateral cease-fire on the Jewish state's offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Pardon my French but, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

Ehud Olmert, Israel's left-wing prime minister, claimed that Israel's goals have been achieved because "Hamas was hit hard, in its military arms and its government institutions". For the time being Israeli forces will stay in Gaza but will be willing to leave if and when "the time befits [them]." Excuse me, but I thought the goal of this offensive was to stop Hamas rocket attacks on Israel. Those attacks have continued throughout the campaign, so how on earth can Olmert say that Israel's goals have been met?

Frankly, I was afraid this would happen. Ehud Olmert is a leftist. In June 2005 he distinguished himself by infamously declaring that Israel was "tired of winning;...tired of defeating our enemies ". During the '06 Lebanon war, Olmert insisted that there would be no cease-fire without the unconditional return of the Israeli soldiers whose kidnapping triggered the conflict. But then, in true spineless liberal fashion, he not only accepted a cease-fire agreement, he accepted one that didn't even mention the return of Israel's soldiers. So this current change of events isn't really surprising.

Olmert and the Security Council almost certainly caved to international criticism of Israel's effort to defend itself. I mean, Olmert can't really think that anyone believes his assertion that his nation's objectives have been achieved, especially since Hamas continued to fire rockets into Israel even as Olmert was declaring this abominable cease-fire. No, Olmert and the SC are playing the Israeli left's usual spineless game of trying to make the world love them. The game's never worked but the leftists keep playing it to avoid dealing with the fact that they have no commitment to their own nation's survival. Well, let me tell Olmert, the SC , and the whole of Israel's left something.

No one, and I mean no one, cares about Jews but Jews and the few truly pro-Israel, anti-anti-Semitic gentiles like me. The world is NOT going to be impressed by Israel's latest self-defeating action. No matter how many cease-fires Israel makes with her enemies; no matter how much trust she stupidly puts in the "world community"; no matter how many investigations she conducts into her own actions, the Jew hating world will NOT love her!

It's time for the Israelis--for all Jews everywhere--to wake up and smell the proverbial coffee and defend themselves without any concern for world opinion. The IDF must destroy Hamas. That is what the objective must be. That is what victory must mean, and Israel must accept no option but victory. If Palestinian civilians die in the process, so be it. The Jews can't become obsessively concerned about that. The moral responsibility for those deaths lies squarely with Hamas, which uses its own people as human shields. The Jews must stop succumbing to that phoney morality that says they must let themselves be destroyed in order to prove how civilized they are.

I hope the Israeli people will oppose this cease-fire. I hope they will rise up and demand war until victory, whatever the cost. Why? Because for the most part the Jews, like the Kurds, have no friends, and they need to stop putting their collective head on the chopping block trying to make some. It will never work. The Jew hating world will never be satisfied with anything less than no Jews. Consequently, the Jews must unapologetically commit themselves to victory because, and I'll quote Sir Winston Churchill yet again, without victory there is NO survival.

Farewell To The Warrior

I just watched President George W. Bush's farewell speech to the nation and I was greatly moved. In sharp contrast to the cosmically evil being imagined by the viscious and deranged Bush haters, the President showed himself to be a decent, gracious, principled and, unlike most of his critics, patriotic man who, in his eight years as POTUS, was committed to one cause above all else: keeping this country and her people safe. And in that cause George W. Bush succeeded beyond all our wildest dreams.
Since September 11, 2001, there has been NO terrorist attack on this nation. This singular achievement overrides and overshadows ALL ELSE. As a real American, not a liberal, I GREATLY APPRECIATE being defended and protected by George W. Bush.
I greatly appreciate, admire, and am eternally grateful to George W. Bush for standing up and being the WARRIOR that America needed in her darkest hour since Pearl Harbor. And I admire George W. Bush for possessing the courage to be the most hated president in recent history in order to do what needed to be done to protect the nation. Can you imagine? Being hated and savagely maligned by many of his fellow citizens for the crime of protecting them, which is his job.
When the killers came calling they got only one hit. After that George W. Bush took sword in hand and struck terror into the hearts of the terrorists. He laid waste to their cells, their infrastructure, and their state sponsors the way the Allies laid waste to Germany and Japan. He unhesitantly donned the role of warrior because he believed that America was worth defending, and for that the liberals will never forgive him. Their caustic accusations of torture, spying, war crimes, blah, blah, blah are but their way of expressing their core belief that America has no right to be right. But their traitorous cacophony failed to dissuade The Warrior from his task. Through all the strident condemnation of the left-wing bitches, "Dubya" has stood over this nation with a ready sword, and the sand Nazis have not dared to touch us again.
So, it is with a grateful but heavy heart that I bid goodbye to the man who has kept me and every other American, including the snarling ingrates, safe from further harm. Farewell to the Warrior. And God bless.

Sea Kittens?!

I know, I know. I probably shouldn't touch this with the proverbial ten foot pole. Most people with a lick of sense know that those PETA folks are a few sandwiches short of a picnic, but the latest stunt from those people haters is too good to pass up.

It seems that PETA thinks that fish are in need of a moniker makeover. That's right. According to PETA fish should no longer be called fish. PETA wants people to stop eating fish and thinks a big step in that direction is getting people to sympathize with the scaly creatures. To wit, PETA now proposes that fish be called--drum roll please!--sea kittens. You read that right. Sea kittens. Can you say, brain dead? I knew you could!

PETAniks, let me explain something to you. No matter how much you call fish "sea kittens", they will always remain fish! Scaly, finny, bug-eyed, ugly fish. Got it? No amount of Orwellian newspeak will change that. Fish will NEVER be cute and cuddly and normal people will NEVER feel for them the same affection they feel for truly adorable creatures like kittens. To think that people will be moved to aquatic vegetarianism by this insult to their intelligence just shows how unintelligent you are.

And speaking of vegetarianism, PETAniks please stop with the conversion crusade. We meat eaters see nothing wrong with what we do and are NOT going to stop. And it has nothing to do with us lacking compassion. We carnivores are compassionate human beings. We love our families. We love our friends. We even love animals...in their place. We don't put subhuman--yes, subhuman--beings on a pedestal. And we have a better understanding of the natural order of things than you animal "lovers" do.

We carnivores understand that hunting, predation, living things killing and eating other living things to survive, is just part of how nature works. A human hunter is NOT bringing some egregious evil into what had been a previously peaceful environment. Rather, human hunters are just playing by nature's rules. You PETAniks think that people snagging fish on hooks and yanking them out of the water is cruel. You think that calling fish sea kittens will move people to stop doing that. But even if EVERY fisherman hung up his rod and reel millions of fish would continue to die bloody, painful deaths. They'd just be yanked out of the water by the razor sharp teeth of grizzly bears instead of by hooks, or torn to pieces by seals, otters, or other fish. So by trying to ban fishing/hunting you're not saving fish, or any other animals, at all. The idea that you are is downright comical.

Listen PETA folks. If you don't want to eat meat, then don't. If you don't want to wear fur, then don't. If you think that weird looking swimming things are cute, indulge your delusion. Just leave the rest of us alone. We're busy living in the real world and are getting really tired of your sanctimonious, judgmental BS.

Sea kittens? Get a life!

Move Over Sean Connery!

Man oh man! I never knew James Morrison, who plays Bill Buchanan on "24", was so freakin' HOT!!!!! In fact, on previous seasons of the show he wasn't this hot. I don't know what the hell happened but I LOVE IT!!!! Eat your heart out, Sean Connery! There's a new silver fox on the block!

"24" Is Back!

It's baaaaaaaaack!

The hit Fox tv show "24", which didn't air last year due to the writers' strike and Kiefer Sutherland's legal problems, premiered its seventh season tonight. I have been waiting breathlessly for a year for "24" to return, maybe that's why I'm a little disappointed with the first two opening salvos of season seven.

The show got off to a promising start with Jack Bauer, played by Sutherland, getting sassy with a self-righteous, we-don't-torture-nobody's-above-the-law Senator, who was almost certainly inspired by some lame liberal Democrat. But then Jack gets called away by the FBI and the show went a little downhill from there. Not that there wasn't an interesting plot twist. The big shocker is the return of Tony Almeida, supposedly killed in season 5, as an apparent anti-government terrorist. I will keep watching this season just to find out what's up with Tony, if nothing else. But beyond that I'm not too impressed so far.

In this season of "24" America has her first female president played--underwhelmingly, so far--by Cherry Jones. Unlike the first black president, David Palmer, who first appeared in season 1, President Allison Taylor isn't natural. I couldn't shake the feeling that the writers of the show were trying to make a statement by having a female chief executive. President Palmer was simply allowed to be president, and you soon forgot that he was black. I have an unpleasant feeling that I'll never be able to forget that President Taylor is a woman. And that's not all that's bothering me about season 7.

Bauer has been paired with an FBI agent by the name of Renee Walker, played by Annie Wersching. Annie Wersching is dull. There is absolutely NO chemistry between her and Sutherland. None what so ever. The whole time I was watching them together I kept thinking that Wersching might as well have been a man. Of course, a romance between Jack and Renee isn't inevitable but c'mon! If you're gonna put a man and a woman together make sure that they have at least a few sparks flying just to keep things interesting, y'know? But that's not the biggest problem with season 7. Oh no, there's something much, much worse.

The single most atrocious defect in the latest addition of "24" is the addition to the cast of left-wing loon Janeane Garofalo. I kid you not! I don't know what the great minds behind the show were thinking to bring that woman--I use the term loosely--on board, but they sure weren't thinking right. How could they pollute a pro-America show with the likes of her?! Garofalo's presence is going to make watching my favorite tv show an exercise in mental anguish. I can't stop watching, though, because I want to find out what's going on with Tony. Lord, help me!

Hopefully "24" will start delivering its usual in-yo'-face charm and I'll soon forget about this season's shortcomings and just enjoy the ride. Maybe Cherry Jones will grow into her role as president. Maybe Annie Wersching will become interesting...well, I doubt it. Maybe Janeane Garofalo's character, Janis Gold, will get killed off by a terrorist. That would be awesome! Oh, I hope! I hope! I'll watch the next two installments of season 7 tomorrow night and keep my fingers crossed. Hee! Hee!

Ode To The IDF

It's about time that Israel cleaned house in Gaza and I'm thrilled to see it happening. So thrilled that I've written a humble ode to the IDF, sung to the tune of AC/DC's song "Rock 'N' Roll Train", from the Aussie band's killer new cd "Black Ice". So sing along fellow friends of Israel, and hail the IDF!!!!

Ode To The IDF (aka Fightin' Back!)
by Seane-Anna

Hear the shofar!
Trumpet of war!
The Jewish state's asleep no more,
she's rockin' Gaza to the core!

Do it boys, you're alright.
Hebrew lightening strikes!
C'mon, wield your kosher might.
Shoot 'em up, kill 'em
and grind 'em into dust.
Fight hard, give 'em all
a taste of Jewish shock and awe!

On the way up!

Watch out world,
the IDF's fightin' back!

The Jewish hammer!

Watch out world,
the IDF's kickin' ass!

On the way up!

Watch out world,
the IDF's fightin' back!

The Jewish hammer!

Watch out world,
the IDF's kickin' ass!

The faithfuls' Motherland
has taken sword in hand.
She's waging war without no shame,
and sending Gaza up in flames!

Do it boys, you're alright.
Hebrew lightening strikes!
Eradicate that Arab Reich.
Shoot your fire through the mist,
make 'em feel a Jewish fist!
Fight hard, give 'em all
a taste of Jewish shock and awe!

On the way up!

Watch out world,
the IDF's fightin' back!

The Jewish hammer!

Watch out world,
the IDF's kickin' ass!

On the way up!

Watch out world,
the IDF's fightin' back!

The Jewish hammer!

Watch out world,
the IDF's kickin' ass!

Sons of Joshua,
sons of Gideon.
Sons of the mighty king
are making Pali ears ring!

With pounding in your chest,
destroy that rodents' nest!
Survival is at stake
and you know the Jews can't hesitate.

Do it boys, you're alright.
Hebrew lightening strikes!
Let loose and wield your kosher might!

Bear your claws,
give 'em all
a taste of Jewish shock and awe!

Let your thunder split the night!

On the way up!

Watch out world,
the IDF's fightin' back!

The Jewish hammer!

Watch out world,
the IDF's kickin' ass!

Bear your claws,
give 'em all
a taste of Jewish shock and awe!

On the way up!

Watch out world,
the IDF's fightin' back!

The Jewish hammer!

Watch out world,
the IDF's kickin' ass!

There it is folks, my tribute to the Israeli Defense Forces. And there couldn't be a better song to sing it to than "Rock 'N' Roll Train". So sing it, friends of Israel, and pray that God will give His chosen ones the complete and irreversible victory over their enemies that they so richly deserve. Hail Israel!!!!
