It's Really That Simple

Many conservatives realize the growing power of the Hispanic vote and are almost desperate to grab an election-winning piece of it.  To do that some are opining that the GOP needs to move to the left on the issue of illegal immigration.  No, they don't say it like that but that's what it boils down to.  The GOP needs to ditch its "hardline", claim these conservatives, and soften its message.  I say no.  The GOP's position on illegal immigration is not hardline, nor is it complicated.  In fact, it's quite simple; we just need a simple, direct explanation of it to Hispanics and anyone else who leans left on this issue.  And I think I have it.

Imagine America is a store.  Imagine you're the store owner.  Like any businessman you love paying customers but hate shoplifters.  Paying customers build your business up, so you welcome them.  Shoplifters, on the other hand, tear your business down so you do anything you can to keep them out of your store.  And no one would blame you for that.  It's the same with immigration.  Come to America legally, learn our language, respect our culture, i.e., be a "paying customer", and you'll be welcomed.  Come to America illegally, impose your language on us, disrespect our culture, i.e., be a "shoplifter", and you will NOT be welcomed, nor should you expect to be.  And that goes for foreign nationals of every race.  That's the Republican position on immigration.  It's really that simple.

What objection can you raise to that, liberals?

Not Young, Not Black, Not Latino, Not Female...Not Important

Take a look at the picture above. It's Robert Krentz, the Arizona rancher whose murder at the hands of an illegal alien probably helped secure the passage of Arizona's tough new anti-illegal immigration law. But if Robert Krentz's murder propelled the new law into action, that's all it did.

It didn't move the oh-so-compassionate liberals to express sympathy for Krentz. It didn't prompt the Mexican government to issue an apology to Krentz's family for their suffering at the hands of a Mexican citizen. It didn't stir the lame stream media to demand the feds get in control of the border NOW! No, Robert Krentz's brutal murder didn't inspire any of the above because he was the wrong type of person. Robert Krentz didn't belong to any of the categories of people, articulated by Barack Obama, that it's fashionable for liberals to care about. Krentz was an unfashionable victim.

Take a look at the picture above. It's a picure of a human being: older, white, male, and in the mind of a frighteningly large segment of our population, expendable. That's REAL racial profiling. Why don't the liberals condemn that?

Message To Illegals

The REAL Backbone Of America

Dr. David Scheiner, Barack Obama's former personal physician, was on Mike Huckabee's show Saturday and he said something that really pissed me off.

While discussing Obamacare--he's against it, he supports a single payer plan--Scheiner advocated covering illegal aliens because they "do our work for us". Did you get that? Illegals do our work. When I heard that my first thought was, oh no he didn't say that! My second thought was how someone who has to be smart--Schneiner's a doctor after all--would peddle such bona fide nonsense.

Speaking as someone who busts my ass 40-60 hours a week, I'm SICK TO DEATH of this noxious notion that illegal aliens are the only people in America who work. No, they AREN'T. Illegals make up approximately 5% of the US workforce. That means the other 95% of the US workforce is composed of AMERICANS! Like me. We are the ones who "do our work". We are not some sort of parasitic leisure class living off the backs of the poor illegals. We are the producers. It is our labor that produces the wealth that creates the jobs that employ the illegals. If we stopped working the illegals would have nothing. We don't owe our way of life to them; they owe their lives to us.

If Dr. Scheiner or anyone else believes that illegal aliens should be covered by universal health care, fine. Let them defend their view with rationally stated arguments. But Scheiner and all who think like him should understand that they lose credibility when they use the patently false assertion that illegals "do our work" and therefore should reap all the benefits of citizenship. They don't and they shouldn't.

I am an American worker. I am only one of millions. I and my fellow workers, along with small businessmen, are the backbone of the US economy. If our country ends up with socialized medicine--and I pray she doesn't--it should go first of all to us. No foreigner who broke into this country like a thief in the night deserves health care at the taxpayer's expense. If they want free health care let them get it in their own country. As for America, let universal health care go to those who really "do our work". You and me.

Remember The Protest!

Hey friends! I just wanted to remind you about the protest against illegal aliens this weekend, Cinco de Mayo weekend. I can't believe the time is upon us already! Remember, don't eat out from Friday to Sunday to protest restaurants supporting illegal immigration. If we can send a strong enough message to the restaurant industry maybe we can also influence other industries that support illegal immigration. American workers are the backbone of America's economic might yet we're constantly dissed by businesses which think they owe their profits to the cheap illegal labor many employ. This protest is to let restaurants and other businesses know that they owe their profits to Americans buying their products and that if we stop doing that their profits will dwindle no matter how many illegal aliens they use. And we may be getting some unexpected help.

I saw on The Glenn Beck Show a few days ago that some restaurants are starting to hurt from the rising cost of food and fuel. Fewer people are eating out for purely economic reasons; this is forcing restaurants to try things like serving less toast, serving smaller pieces of cake, and charging for formerly free extras like extra packets of ketchup. If this keeps up restaurants will take a hit to their bottom line more painful than one weekend protest can inflict. So even if people aren't avoiding restaurants specifically to protest illegal immigration they're still avoiding them and that could be a very good thing for us.

And here's another idea to register your disgust with illegal immigration and our government's failure to do anything about it. Cinco de Mayo is on a Monday this year. If you have children send them to school in patriotic clothes. Deck them out in the stars and stripes. Make it known that you believe in American nationalism, not Mexican nationalism in America. A couple of weeks ago, in the wake of the Absolut ad showing the southwest as part of Mexico again, it was revealed that nearly 60% of Mexican nationals believe that the American southwest belongs to Mexico and that they are entitled to go there illegally. For them the border doesn't exist. But it does exist for me and for you. And we need to let the powers that be know that.

Patriotic Americans must get over our fear of defending our nation. We must get over our fear of being called racist, xenophobic, and/or fascist. Defending our country's sovereignty is none of that. Boycotting restaurants for one weekend and upholding American nationalism over Mexican nationalism is our declaration that America and her borders, language, and culture are worth defending and preserving. This is OUR country; come this weekend we need to act like it.

Time To Protest!

In a previous post I wrote about how we conservatives seldom act en masse in support of any of our causes except opposing abortion. We complain loudly about the gun grabbers, the America haters and the illegal aliens but we do nothing about them. It pains me to say this, but it seems that we conservatives, while talking tough, have little stomach for even the mildest sacrificial action. Well, I hope to change that, at least a little bit. For the last two years I've an idea for a protest against illegal immigration, but I wasn't sure it would work. I'm still not sure, but if enough people join in it just might. What's this protest, or collective action, that I have in mind?

I propose that on the first weekend in May, Cinco de Mayo weekend, all patriotic Americans should "boycott" every restaurant in this country. Why do that? To send a message to businesses, which usually support illegal immigration, that their profits don't come from the illegal labor they employ but from the American worker/consumer buying their products. Nothing angers me more than hearing some libtard politician, activist, or economist claiming that illegal aliens are the backbone of America's economy. An anti-illegal immigration bill was recently defeated in Idaho because of economic fears.

Whenever I hear talk like that I feel personally insulted, as should you. Illegals make up barely 5% of the American workforce; the other 95% is made up of you and me. WE are the backbone of this nation's economic might. WE are the engine pulling this nation's economic train. Yet our contribution, our sweat and effort, is callously ignored by businesses--and politicians and activists--more concerned with profits and image than truth. If you listen to their propaganda you'd swear that illegal aliens are the only people in America who work. Well, if they're going to ignore our labor I say we ignore their cash registers.

Many industries choose to rely heavily on illegal labor but the restaurant industry is one of the most visible and easily targeted. Everyone knows where restaurants are and who's working there. In many eateries the illegal labor is blatanly obvious. If we, the totally dissed American worker/consumer, stop spending our money on them their income will come to a screeching halt. Facing a whole weekend of empty tables and dimished receipts will force restaurants and other businesses to realize just who's buttering their bread. Hopefully, that will translate to a very different stance on the illegal immigration problem.

Participating in this collective action won't be hard. All you'll have to do is not eat out for three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). If you think this'll be a problem for you start planning for it now. For instance, cook up and freeze some extra food now so you'll have "fast" food then. If you've scheduled little Johnny's birthday party at McDonalds for that weekend cancel it. Get creative and whip up an awesome party for him at home. Not only will this probably save you some money but Johnny will get a great lesson in the need to sacrifice for what you believe in.

It's not enough to whine and complain about illegal immigration. We have to DO something about it. We have to put our money where our mouths are. This "boycott" is a simple thing but it could have a big effect if enough people do it. I'm writing this post to get the word out to my friends in the blogosphere. Hopefully, you will then spread the word to your friends, who'll spread the word to their friends, till it's gone around the country. Those of you who are members of forums and/or Yahoo! groups can get the word out there, too. I've already done that. But however we spread the word it must be spread. This won't work unless we all work together. Are you with me?

Mexican Students In FARC Camp

It's just been revealed that at least six Mexican nationals were in the FARC rebel camp attacked by Colombia last week. Five of the Mexicans were killed; the sixth, Lucia Morett, survived. Morett and one of the dead Mexicans, Juan Gonzalez del Castillo, were students at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (NAUM) and members of a radical, pro-FARC student group. Supposedly, that group had sent Morett and Gonzalez to study South America's oldest armed rebel movement but NAUM officials denied that. You can imagine what kind of "studying" Morett, Gonzalez and the other Mexicans were doing.

This is scary stuff, folks. Mexican radicals training--oops!--I mean studying with FARC terrorists and our southern border pourous as a sieve. How long before some of those "students" and their friends sneak into our country and begin causing havoc? The FARC is a Marxist terrorist group which bombs, murders, and kidnaps as a matter of course, and funds its operations through drug trafficing. There are reports that FARC has sought to buy sophisticated weapons from Lebanese terrorists and might've even been trying to get its hands on uranium. Mexicans who have been tutored by such ilk can't mean America any good.

Open borders fanatics, who insist on believing that all Mexicans sneaking into America are just good hearted poor folks looking for a job, need to get a reality check. Not all of the illegals are good hearted; not all are poor and not all are Mexican. Rather, what you have with the illegals is a witch's brew of drug trafficers, leftist revolutionaries, and international terrorists mixed in with the campesinos.

It's time to deal with illegal immigration once and for all. It's time to crackdown big time on businesses that employ illegals so the illegals will self-deport. It's time to withhold federal funds from sanctuary cities. It's time for Americans to boycott sanctuary cities: don't vacation in them, don't send your kids to college in them, don't hold your conventions in them, and don't relocate your business to them. And above all, it's time for Congress to stop bullshitting and build the damn fence--the REAL one--it promised us a year ago!

The Mexican students who were in the FARC camp are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. There are plenty more where they came from, and they don't want to sing Kumbaya with us. If our elected officials wait until a nuclear tragedy strikes America before they act then they should be gathered up and shot. They would have betrayed this country in the most horrid way and would deserve nothing less than execution. Strong words, but these are deadly times and nobody in Washington seems up to the task of leading us through them. Oh, where is Churchill when we need him! Come back, Winston, come back!!

How Many More Have to Die?

Tonight I watched The O'Reilly Factor as usual and there was a segment in which Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera squared off over the recent murders of three young people by an illegal alien (IA) in Newark, NJ. I was hoping that this particularly heinous crime--the three victims were shot execution style--would shake Geraldo out of his racially motivated devotion to what I call the Doctrine of the Inherent Innocence of the Illegal Alien, a key left-wing article of faith. It didn't.

As unbelievable as it sounds, Geraldo took the same illegal-status-isn't-the-issue position on these horrific murders as he took on the DUI killing of two American teenage girls by an illegal alien in Virginia Beach, VA. earlier this year. I was dumbfounded. In spite of the visciousness of the Newark attacks, Geraldo still believes that America has an obligation to give safe haven to violently criminal IAs, especially if they're Latino. What world is this man living in?!

Obviously, black and white Americans dying at the hands of Hispanic IAs don't matter to Mr. Rivera. All that matters to him is that his racial kin escape all responsibility for their actions. If Latinos break into America like thieves in the night then, once here, use fake documents, steal Americans' identities, and kill Americans with guns or cars, it's all America's fault. Five dead American young people aren't enough to change Geraldo's mind. So I ask Mr. Rivera, "How many more non-Hispanic Americans have to die before you'll put your fellow citizens before your race? How many more, Geraldo? How many more?"

"Migrants" Are Dying, And It's All Our Fault!

When Yahoo! came up on my laptop today I noticed a news article declaring that more "migrants" are dying as they try to cross illegally into the US. Deaths are rising because illegals are using more remote and dangerous routes to enter America as safer routes are closed off. You just know that these deaths will be used by "immigrants' rights" groups to attack America and demand open borders. But who is really to blame for all the dying? The "migrants", that's who.

Mexicans and other foreigners know it's illegal to enter America, or any other country, without permission. If they insist on violating the law and get injured or killed in the process, it's their fault. Period. It's like a homeowner shooting an intruder; the intruder is at fault because he shouldn't have been breaking into someone else's house to begin with. So it is with illegal aliens; they shouldn't be trying to break into America in the first place.

Of course, liberals won't see it that way. For them, the only villain is America. Just as they blame terrorism on America's foreign policy, they'll blame the increasing deaths among illegals on her "inhumane" enforcement of border security. That poor Mexicans wouldn't be dying in the desert or the river if they stayed home is totally lost on liberals. So is the culpability of the Mexican government which won't enact needed economic reforms and encourages it's poorest citizens to break American law. None of that matters to the Blame America First crowd.

But it matters to real patriots like me. I don't want people to die, but America must not sacrifice her sovereignty to save foreigners who spit on her laws. If the bleeding hearts really care about "innocent" illegals they should urge them to stay in their homelands and recreate America's system there. Then they'd have the jobs and prosperity they long for. But don't hold your breathe. Why work to create your own wealth when you can take someone else's? Just don't blame me when you're floating in the Rio Grande.

The People Unleased

In a move that totally surprised me, the amnesty bill was defeated in the Senate Wednesday. I was overjoyed! I'd heard on the news for days that the vote was too close to call. I couldn't believe that so many of our "leaders" were so determined to trample on the will of the people and vote into existence something that the vast majority of us didn't want. Yet, miraculously, we the people prevailed. Just enough senators suddenly remembered who they worked for and voted accordingly. But we must not become complacent. A very important battle was won, but the war still rages. There are still powerful forces out there who want to flood America with millions of foreign nationals and eradicate our culture and sovereignty. That's why the protest I called for in my previous post must still go forward.

Left-wing and right-wing interests are vying to aid and abet illegal immigration for their own peculiar ends. Many left-wingers are desperate to make America majority non-white. They bizarrely believe that this will make America morally pure by minimizing the power and influence of the only group they recognize as sinful: white Christians. Massive legal and illegal immigration is the vehicle by which their non-white paradise will be realized. This loony, left-wing vision can and should be fought, and fought hard, but it will mostly be a war of words meant to change hearts and minds, not a fight of direct action. For that we must look to the illegal alien supporters on the right.

While left-wingers are vocal in their contempt for America's sovereignty, the anti-patriotism of some on the right is less obvious but it exists. The single reason for right-wing support of illegal immigration can be summed up in two words: cheap labor. Big business wants cheap labor and it lobbies congress to get it for them. This explains almost all of the support for the Senate's bill from Republicans. Big business thinks its profits come from hiring cheap labor and it pays politicians to keep the supply flowing. That's where you and I come in. Direct action to show big business just who's responsible for their profits will send a message not only to the CEOs but also to the politicians on their payroll.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against business. I'm a staunch capitalist, but that doesn't mean denying that business has a patriotic responsibility. In the pursuit of profit CEOs must never lose sight of the independence and welfare of their country. The problem is that many of our business elites have, in their hearts, ceased to be Americans and have become "post-Americans": citizens of the world for whom national loyalty is as outdated as leg warmers and mullets. These post-American captains of industry are vulnerable, though. Shut down the profit train and they'll squeal like the pigs commies say they are. It's time to make them squeal.

On the second weekend after the 4th of July we, the people, must not shop. We must not frequent any store, period. We must not go to the grocery store, the video store, the fashion boutique or the mall. If you told your child he could have his birthday party at MacDonald's that weekend, cancel it. This could be a good lesson to your child about the importance of acting on principle even when it hurts. If you're accustomed to ordering pizza on the weekend, try making your own. Prepare yourself for the protest by figuring out alternate ways of meeting your wants and needs. Like to rent videos? Check them out from the library instead. Burger King is a Friday night ritual at your house? Cook up some hamburger patties a few days ahead of time and then microwave them Friday for homemade "fast" food. Just can't get through the weekend without shopping? Go to garage sales or thrift stores. Garage sales are the quintessential acts of economic liberty and thrift stores are not owned by big business (plus, many of them are run by worthy charities such as crisis pregnancy centers and battered women's shelters). So you see, you can protest the business powers without too much change to your daily life.

But the big boys will change. When they're confronted with empty stores and empty cash registers they will know that it's the American consumer whom they disdain, and not the cheap illegal labor they employ, who delivers them their profits.. And to keep those profits safe the business big boys will be forced to deal with us. They will know that we are the constituency they need to fear, not the illegals and their enablers. And if, out of supreme arrogance, the big boys refuse to get it the first time, we the people will do it again. We are no longer willing to let our country's culture, language, history, heritage and sovereignty be assaulted from all sides. We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!!!!!! God bless America and God bless the people unleashed!!!

American Workers' Day of Protest

The illegal alien problem just keeps making me madder and madder. The senate's latest treasonous immigration bill, which is forging ahead despite the overwhelming objection of the American people, is the newest slap in the face to us, the real, born and bred--and naturalized!--Americans. I'm sick and tired of the way we are spat on, insulted, called names ("racist" being the favorite one), or just ignored as totally unimportant yahoos. I'm sick and tired of the shameless groveling to illegals by spineless, psuedoAmerican politicians more concerned with being seen as anti-racist than with serving their country and the people who elected them. And most of all, I'm sick and tired of the constant insinuation that illegal aliens (IAs) are the only people in America who work.

I work!!!!! I get up every morning at 7 o'clock, get to my job at 8, put in 7 to 8 hours taking care of other people's children, then drive home at 6 and hope my car doesn't die on me on the way. Hundreds of millions of Americans do the same thing every day of the week. We, not foreigners who break into our country like thieves in the night, are the backbone of this nation's economy. Yet we're constantly and deliberately dissed by the supporters of illegals who apparently think that trashing us and aggrandizing IAs establishes their anti-racist and compassion credentials.

I'm tired of all of this and I have an idea on what to do about it. I first wrote about this idea on my now-discontinued blog Planet RA! last year, but yesterday I heard a talk radio host saying much the same thing. My idea for sending a message to the arrogant powers-that-be is a general strike.

I don't mean the usual general strike where you don't go to work. That can come later if the politicians don't listen to us. Instead, I mean an economic strike. I want every true American to not shop in any store for an entire weekend. You read right: no shopping from Friday night to Sunday night. This economic strike will be the first salvo in an ongoing war if we, the people, are not heard and taken seriously. But why, you may ask, should we strike against businesses when the problem is with politicians? Answer: because most, if not all, of our politicians are beholden to business lobbyists who want cheap labor more than air.

The reason so many "conservative" Republicans support the senate's monstrous bill is because business owns them. They have to give business what it wants, the people be damned. And business believes that its profits come from hiring cheap labor. That's where you and I come in. By not buying a thing for one entire weekend we will send business the message that its profits depend on us buying their products and not on their employment of cheap labor. And if business gets that message, the politicians will, too.

Some might think that this is a bad idea because it will hurt Americans. No, it won't. This economic strike is not about destroying the businesses of fellow Americans. This is not a boycott. Rather, it's a short term, dramatic action designed to make the big shots in Washington listen to us. If they don't listen to us, then more prolonged actions will be needed, but those can be decided on if the need arises. Right now, we need an act that everyone can do without depending on activists to organize everything. It doesn't take an organizer to show people how to not shop. Just don't do it. Don't go out to eat; don't go to the grocery store; don't go to the video store; don't go to Walgreens. DON'T SHOP!!!!! When CEOs see empty stores and restaurants and start to hear their profits going down the drain they'll understand who're the legs on which they stand. It's me and it's you, not Jose from Tijuana.

I think a good weekend to do this strike is July 13-15, the second weekend after July 4. That will allow time for this plan to be spread around the country. Also, it'll let people prepare for the protest by doing things like cooking a lot of food up ahead of time so they'll have "fast" food for the protest weekend. People can also plan alternatives to the usual weekend entertainment, like checking out videos from the library instead of renting them from Blockbuster (or better yet, not watching tv at all).

For this protest to work, the American people have to actually do it. It's easy to blow off steam on talk radio or send your senator an e-mail, but to do something that may require sacrifice, however small, seems to be the American people's Achilles' heel. If we don't do this, or something else, the politicians will keep on listening to the special interest groups and ignoring us yokels and rednecks. We MUST do this! We MUST make them hear us! Our great nation's future depends on it.

Immigration Fraud

Like all Americans I've been listening to the "debate" on the Senate's new immigration reform bill and I'm sick of it, the bill, not the debate. Our great and wise "leaders" in Washington must think we, the American people, are SOS: stuck on stupid. HOW DARE THEY TRY TO FOIST THIS FRAUD ON US AGAIN!!!!!!!!! The current bill is just a rehashing of the 1986 bill which promised enforcement but delivered hordes of more illegals into our country, which was probably the bill's real intent.

When it comes to illegal immigration I no longer trust any mainstream politician except for Tom Tancredo. All the rest have sold out America's sovereignty in order to please and appease illegal aliens (IAs) and their pseudo-American enablers and to establish their "anti-racist" credentials, which means way more to them than patriotism. They have, in fact, ceased to be Americans, revealing with every move they make that they are now post-Americans more committed to the world than to the USA. Blame America First is their guiding principle and they follow it religiously, making sure that only America, and never IAs themselves, are faulted for illegal immigration.

The complete and utter contempt these politicians show for the feelings and wishes of the Americans who elected them is staggering. I cannot grasp how they sleep at night. We, the American people, don't want foreign nationals breaking into our country like thieves in the night and then getting rewarded for it, period. We elected certain people to office to stop this invasion and instead they've joined it. Their ears are cocked only toward the anti-American, pro-IA special interest groups and are stone deaf to the American electorate, which has no special interest group looking out for it.

I can only pray that this latest immigration monstrosity will be shot down like the fraud that it is. I, and all real Americans, want America's borders defended, her culture protected, and her laws respected. That doesn't make us racist or heartless; it makes us patriotic, and it makes us sane.

Lou Barletta's ideas are spreading!!!!!

Farmer's Branch (FB), a suburb of Dallas, TX (if my geographic memory serves) has joined the ranks of small cities trying to do what the feds won't: enforce America's immigration laws. City councilman Tim O'Hara is trying to introduce municipal legislation not unlike that in Hazelton, PA, Barletta's city. Among other things Mr. O'Hara wants stiff penalties against employers who hire illegals and landlords who rent to them, and he wants English to be FB's official language. Of course, FB and councilman O'Hara are coming in for the usual treatment meted out to anyone who dares support American law, culture, and sovereignty.

Domingo Garcia and Hector Flores, both of LULAC, have lobed verbal "city of hate" missiles at FB and charges of racism at O'Hara. A boycott of FB is also in the works. The pro-illegals activists are becoming boringly predictable. Dare to raise your voice against the massive violation of American law by foreigners and you're a racist. Hey LULAC, why don't you ever call all those "Gringo!" yelling Hispanics racist? Isn't "gringo" a racist word? And why isn't Mexico a country of hate for putting its military on its border with Guatemala? If Mexicans should be free to walk across America's border any time they want, shouldn't Guatemalans be free to walk across Mexico's border any time they want? Let's have some consistentcy here!

But of course, consistentcy is as foreign to the Left as enforcing our immigration laws is to the feds. So it's left up to small cities like Hazelton, PA and Farmer's Branch, TX to do what the Constitution requires the federal government to do: protect America. Apparently, protecting America must now become the job of every city, county, state, and citizen. Hazelton and Farmer's Branch have stepped up to the plate. It's time for the rest of us to step up, too.

Support the Agents!

In case you haven't heard, two Border Patrol (BP) agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, were recently convicted of unjustly shooting a Mexican national smuggling drugs into the United States. If that wasn't bad enough, the Department of Homeland Security actually tracked down the drug dealer in Mexico and brought him back to America to testify against the agents! The drug dealing Mexican is now suing for $5,000,000 claiming his civil rights were violated. What kind of a world are we living in?!?!

About the only good thing that will come out of this case is that it'll prove that opponents of illegal immigration are NOT racist against Mexicans or anybody else. The BP agents are Hispanic and it's the radio talk shows and other conservative media that are supporting them. Why would they do that if they were racist? In any case, this outrage against these agents must not stand, and you can do something about it. Go to www.grassfire.org and sign the petition demanding that President Bush pardon these agents who were only doing their job: protecting America. If we the people don't stand up for those on the front lines, no one will. I've stood up, will you?

Lou Barletta Rocks!

In case you haven't heard, Lou Barletta is the mayor of Hazelton, PA. Mayor Barletta has taken on the illegal alien (IA) problem in his small city and I say, You go Lou!

It's sad that a small town mayor has to act to solve this problem because the federal government is so gutless, but I'm thrilled to see someone standing up against this danger to our country.

Mayor Barletta has enacted tough measures against IAs and those who help them. For starters, the city of Hazelton will revoke the license of any business caught knowingly employing IAs. Landlords who knowingly rent to illegals will be fined $1000 per IA they house. And English will be Hazelton's official language. I think I like that measure most of all.

Of course, Mayor Barletta will be called a racist. That's the pro-IA lobby's tactic of choice. But he's determined to stand against the IA menace, come what may. And I will stand with Mayor Barletta, as all true Americans should. He's protecting his town and, by extension, his country. Mayor Barletta is a real American hero; he rocks!

You Can't Have MY Country!

I watched the President's Monday night speech on illegal immigration and I was as disappointed, no, outraged, as I thought I'd be.

I was initially hopeful when I heard media reports that House Republicans would be pleased with Bush's speech. Then I heard rumblings about the National Guard (NG) being put on the border and, yes, I was hopeful that Bush had finally got it. But then I saw in my local paper that Vicente Fox had called Bush about the NG rumors and Bush had reassured him that the NG would only be used temporarily. That's when I got mad. And the speech only made me madder.

Sure, Bush started off by trying to talk a good game about securing the borders. He promised more Border Patrol (BP) agents-- by 2008. Yippee! Just think of all the illegals who can come in in the mean time! He talked up technology--infrared drones, virtual fences, and other sci-fi stuff--and yes, he said he'd put the NG on the border, but no more than 6000 and they'd have no authority to do anything. All of this was supposed to pacify all of us Americans who believe passionately in securing our nation's borders, and stopping the flood of illegals, before we deal with the 12 million illegals who're already here. Did Bush really think he could get away with insulting our intelligence? He thought wrong.

I voted for Bush twice. I didn't do that because I agreed with everything he stood for. I did it because I thought Bush was a conservative who could be counted on to put America first, before globalism, before corporatism, before socialism, before illegal aliens and their leaders; I was wrong. What Bush showed me in his speech last night was that he's got a "blame America first" mentality that usually belongs to liberals. Bush is terrified of being seen as anti-Hispanic, why else would he virtually guarantee Mexican president Vicente Fox that the NG would be a paper tiger on the border? Why else does he continually parrot the illegals-are-doing-jobs-Americans-won't-do party line even though the Hispanic Pew Center showed that Americans are the majority of the workers in all the industries that employ the most illegals?

President Bush seems to have forgotten that he was elected by Americans, to protect America, not by Vicente Fox and the millions of his countrymen who are in America illegally. America owes nothing to Mexico and the rest of Latin America. We aren't to blame for their poverty and have no obligation to atone for our prosperity by committing national suicide. Vicente Fox, like previous Mexican presidents, wants an open border so he can ship Mexico's poverty problem north and thereby avoid making necessary reforms within Mexico. He wants to keep the status quo because the corruption makes certain Mexicans very, very rich. But Fox also wants to regain the Southwest, which Mexico lost to America in the 1846 War. He's lauching a demographic war against the US, hoping to achieve a critical mass of unassimilated Mexicans on US soil who, through the ballad or the bullet, will wrench the Southwest away from America and hand it back to Mexico.

Bush should've forthrightly told Fox that the US is a sovereign nation, with legitimate borders and legitimate immigration laws that must be respected by all foreigners, including Mexicans. He should've told Fox that America isn't a welfare program for poor Mexicans (and other Latin Americans). Bush should've told Fox that needing a job doesn't entitle poor Mexicans to break American law. And, finally, Bush should've told Fox that he can't tell America not to put troops on her southern border when Mexico has troops on its southern border. Then, last night, Bush should've told the American people what he told Fox.

Of course, none of the above happened. Bush opted to go pc, talking briefly about border enforcement then lingering on the supposed need for a "temporary" guess worker program and waxing elegant about America's immigrant heritage, forgetting that past immigrants came here legally. And that's the crux of the issue. Either you believe in the legitimacy of American law, or you don't. Those who don't, and that crowd seems to include the President, aren't going to come right out and say so. Instead, they'll hide their disdain for American law--and sovereignty--behind phony compassion and specious anti-racism, claiming that enforcing our laws is heartless and bigoted and no one wants to be that.

Those of us who love America, her history, culture, language, and heritage, and who value her sovereignty as much as our own lives must stand up and make our voices heard. We've left the streets in the hands of those who're working for America's demise. After the President's speech last night, we know we can no longer afford to stay silent. The House Republicans get it; a few governors get it; the Minutemen get it. And we get it. It's time to let them know it.

Just Say "NO!" to Cinco de Mayo

Like all true Americans I am furious at these illegal aliens taking to the street to demand rights they have no right to demand. However, I'm also increasingly angry with my fellow true Americans who, in the comfort of their homes, bitch and complain about the illegal alien invasion of this country but won't do a damn thing about.

In my previous post, "Dissing the American Worker", I suggested something true Americans could do to make our voices heard. I called for a national strike on May 5, Cinco de Mayo, to show our lawmakers, the mainstream media, and the illegals just who is the real backbone of America's economy. The plan was for all true Americans to stay home from work and school and to let the empty offices, factories, and classrooms speak more loudly than any demonstration could. I still believe we should do the strike, but I've changed the focus a little.

Instead of taking off from work this coming Friday, I'm calling on all true Americans to boycott every Cinco de Mayo parade and celebration and to keep their children home from school because most schools will be glorifying the holiday. We must NOT participate in this show of Mexican nationalism at a time when American nationalism is routinely denounced as racism. We must send a message to Hispanic activists that we will NOT be bullied into silence and inaction by their specious accusations of racism and we must tell our government that we demand border security and that we're fed up with politicians playing politics with America's sovereignty. And that's what the whole illegal alien issue is really all about, American sovereignty.

America is an independent, sovereign nation with every right to have immigration laws and to control it's border. That fact is what's really under attack by the illegal aliens and their liberal allies. When illegals march in the streets demanding amnesty they're effectively saying that American law is inherently illegitimate and, frighteningly, millions of guilt-ridden, self-hating (white) liberals agree with them. These people view America the way Hamas views Israel: as an illegitimate country with no right to exist. Enforcment of our immigration laws is a declaration of our national legitimatcy, that's why illegals, Hispanic activists, the Mexican government, and American liberals want it to stop. All these people want us to accept the notion that America's right to exist is nullified by its racism, sexism, classism, imperialism, and oppression and that poor Mexicans--(non-white) poor people everywhere--therefore have the right to enter America at will. An open border is the way America atones for its sins.


All true Americans must zealously reject this nation-destroying, leftist doctrine. We must stand up for OUR country, OUR laws, OUR sovereignty. We must boldly declare that while true immigrants--people who come here legally and assimilate into our culture--are warmly welcomed, illegal aliens will NOT be tolerated. We must fearlessly join the battle to save the land of the free and the home of the brave. The days of celebrating other peoples' nations and cultures while our own are smeared and trashed are over. Just say "NO!" to Cinco de Mayo. Let the war begin.
