Battle Hymn Of The Anti-Jihad!!

I was going to post this yesterday to mark the fifth anniversary of the start of the Iraq War, but work and family took up my time. So I'm posting it today.

The song is called "Open Season" and the band is Stuck Mojo. Finally a band that gets it! No entertainment industry PC bull$h!t here. Stuck Mojo tells the truth, without fear and without apology. Give a listen as they rock for America and the rest of the Free World! And in case you don't get what they're saying I've included the lyrics to the song below.

Open Season, by Stuck Mojo (from the album Southern Born Killers).

I speak peace when peace is spoken. But I speak war when your hate is provoking. The season is open 24-7-365, man up yo' time to ride. No need to hide behind slogans of deceit, claiming that you're a religion of peace. We just don't believe you. We can clearly see through the madness that you're feeding your people. Jihad, the cry of your unholy war, using the willing, the weak, and poor. From birth drowing in propganda, rhetoric, and slander. All I can say is damn ya!

My forefathers fought and died for this here. I'm stronger than your war of fear. Are we clear? If you step in my hood, it's understood. It's open season.

I don't need a faith that's blind, where death and hate bring me peace of mind; with views that are stuck deep in the seventh century. So much sand in your eyes, too blind to see the venom that your leaders preach is the path to your own destruction, your own demise. You might say that I don't understand but your disgust for me is what I realize. Surprise! Your homicidal ways has got the whole world watching, whole world scoping. So if you bring it to my home base, best believe it. It's open season.

I see you, hell yeah I see you. Motherfvcker naw, I don't wanna be you. If you come to my place I'll drop more than just some bass. Yo, you'll get a taste of a sick motherfvcker from the Dirty. I ain't worrying, not a fvcking bit. I'm telescoping like Hubble. Yo! You in trouble. Yo! On the double. I'm wild with mine, bring that style with mine. Fvck with my family I'll end your life. Just the way it is; just the way it be. Do you understand? No matter if you're woman, or man, or child. My profile is crazy. That sh!t you do doesn't amaze me; I'm ready to blaze thee.

I don't give a damn what god you claim. I've seen the innocent that you've slain; on my street you're just fair game. Like a pig walk to your slaughter; the heat here is so much hotter. And my views won't teeter totter or fluctuate. Step to me you just met your fate. And I'll annihilate, with the skill of a Shogun assassin. Slicing and dicing precise with a passion, in any shape, form, or fashion. Bring it to my home, welcome to the danger zone. 'Cause your attitude's the reason the triggers keep squeezing. The hunt is on and it's open season.

It's Open Season!

In case I made a mistake in writing the lyrics down you can check them out at www.stuckmojomedia.com. Aside from a little profanity these words are flawless. All of you who understand what's at stake in this war, take them to heart. Pass this battle hymn along to everyone you know.

Mexican Students In FARC Camp

It's just been revealed that at least six Mexican nationals were in the FARC rebel camp attacked by Colombia last week. Five of the Mexicans were killed; the sixth, Lucia Morett, survived. Morett and one of the dead Mexicans, Juan Gonzalez del Castillo, were students at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (NAUM) and members of a radical, pro-FARC student group. Supposedly, that group had sent Morett and Gonzalez to study South America's oldest armed rebel movement but NAUM officials denied that. You can imagine what kind of "studying" Morett, Gonzalez and the other Mexicans were doing.

This is scary stuff, folks. Mexican radicals training--oops!--I mean studying with FARC terrorists and our southern border pourous as a sieve. How long before some of those "students" and their friends sneak into our country and begin causing havoc? The FARC is a Marxist terrorist group which bombs, murders, and kidnaps as a matter of course, and funds its operations through drug trafficing. There are reports that FARC has sought to buy sophisticated weapons from Lebanese terrorists and might've even been trying to get its hands on uranium. Mexicans who have been tutored by such ilk can't mean America any good.

Open borders fanatics, who insist on believing that all Mexicans sneaking into America are just good hearted poor folks looking for a job, need to get a reality check. Not all of the illegals are good hearted; not all are poor and not all are Mexican. Rather, what you have with the illegals is a witch's brew of drug trafficers, leftist revolutionaries, and international terrorists mixed in with the campesinos.

It's time to deal with illegal immigration once and for all. It's time to crackdown big time on businesses that employ illegals so the illegals will self-deport. It's time to withhold federal funds from sanctuary cities. It's time for Americans to boycott sanctuary cities: don't vacation in them, don't send your kids to college in them, don't hold your conventions in them, and don't relocate your business to them. And above all, it's time for Congress to stop bullshitting and build the damn fence--the REAL one--it promised us a year ago!

The Mexican students who were in the FARC camp are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. There are plenty more where they came from, and they don't want to sing Kumbaya with us. If our elected officials wait until a nuclear tragedy strikes America before they act then they should be gathered up and shot. They would have betrayed this country in the most horrid way and would deserve nothing less than execution. Strong words, but these are deadly times and nobody in Washington seems up to the task of leading us through them. Oh, where is Churchill when we need him! Come back, Winston, come back!!

That Damn Dog Incident

I'm sure everyone has seen and/or heard about the (possibly fake) video showing a Marine tossing a puppy over a cliff in Iraq. I first heard about this a couple of days ago while watching CNN. The Marines are investigating to see if the video is real and have condemned it whether it's real or not. Bravo to the Marines, but they are wasting their time. No amount of condemnation from the Corps will satisfy the crazed army of global America haters. And that's what pisses me off.

I've seen the puppy throwing video. It's disturbing, real or not; but the reaction to it from people around the world is even worse. The identity of the puppy tossing Marine has been revealed and not only has he received death threats but his family has, too. People have called for him to be tortured, thrown off a cliff, disfigured with acid, and otherwise treated VERY BADLY. "Anti-war" activists have seized upon this incident the way they seized upon the non-massacre at Haditha to smear our troops. One comment that stands out in my mind reads, "This is why people hate America". And of course Bush is to blame. Gag me!

Where was this outpouring of outrage when Nicholas Berg was beheaded? When Daniel Pearl was beheaded? When the London subway was bombed? When 3000 Americans were slaughtered on 9/11? A puppy apparently gets tossed to its death by an American soldier and the world goes bonkers but human beings get sliced and diced by Muslim crazies and it's greeted with a yawn. Killing a puppy justifies maniacal hatred of America but decapitations and suicide bombings don't justify hatred of Muslims. People, this is the upside down world we live in. This is the perversion political correctness has brought us.

If this video proves to be authentic then the Marine in it should be punished. But even if it's real we shouldn't apologize too much if at all. Our apologies and efforts to redress wrongs are NEVER appreciated by anyone, not even our friends. Instead they are seen as weaknesses and are used against us by our enemies. Our jihadist foes rejoice in our deaths and offer no repentance for slaugtering us like cattle. Therefore, we must stop our hand wringing over every little mistake we make and instead concentrate on obliterating the Islamofascists as thoroughly as we obliterated the Nazis and the Japanese during World War II. After all, destroying your nemesis is how you win wars and this is one war we can't afford to lose.

Help! I'm Feeling Sorry For Hillary!

I have to admit it. I'm feeling sorry for Hillary Clinton. No, I'm not feeling so bad that I'd vote for her--nothing could make me feel bad enough to do that!--but I do feel just a tad bit down that dear Hillary has to face her dream collapsing right before her eyes.

Remember, this woman started the presidential campaign convinced that she was the shoo-in for the Democratic nomination. She was cocky and confident that no one could touch her. Then, as if by magic, Barack Obama, a virtual nobody, swooped in and stole her thunder. Overnight Hillary saw herself lose 11 straight primaries and/or caucuses and found herself fighting for her political life, something she was totally unprepared for. What was she to do?!

Hillary wants power. She craves it the way a starving wolf craves meat. She endured and continues to endure a marriage to a wanton and callous womanizer in order to stay in the loop of political might (and you thought she stayed with Bill for his looks). Power and the desire for it is the air Hillary breathes, only now her oxygen supply is being drastically reduced by a Black man from Illinois. Her lead in the polls has vanished; even some of her friends among the Democratic delegates have switched to Obama. If Hillary doesn't win Texas and Ohio today she's finished. This woman, who stayed married to Bill Clinton to reach political gold, will be finished. C'mon, you gotta feel sorry for her. Just a little bit.

What? The Oscars Were Sunday?

I just realized that the Oscars were Sunday. I don't know how I missed them...wait, yes I do. The irrelevance of the movies and people nominated for awards made Hollywood's exercise in self-congratulation a total no do for me. And I wasn't alone. The ratings for Sunday's award show were among the lowest, if not the lowest, in years. And that's just what Hollywood deserves.

Hollywood has emerged as America's staunchest enemy in the culture war. Formerly known for uplifting, quality movies celebrating America's traditional way of life, Hollywood today is controlled by leftist ideologues dedicated to destroying the values it once extolled. Chief among those values are faith and patriotism. The result is that movie attendance has steadily declined along with the quality and message of films.

Hollywood is increasingly making movies (and tv shows) for ideological rather than artistic or even monetary reasons. If you doubt that just recall the slew of "anti-war" films Tinseltown released this past fall. All of them were steeped in anti-American propaganda and they all flopped big time at the box office. But their creators were proud of those movies because they made a statement, Brian de Palma going so far as to say his vile "Redacted" would "stop the war". Yeah, right.

Hollywood's increasing preoccupation with producing left-wing propaganda, and its resulting slide into irrelevance, is a golden opportunity for talented conservative artists. They can and should seize the moment and fill the void with quality movies that speak our truth to the culture in the culture's language. It's time that we conservatives spoke for ourselves and stopped simply whining about how our enemies speak for and about us. As liberal Hollywood self-destructs we can pick up the pieces, then America will start watching the Oscars again.

Hope Rides Alone

This video was made by my blogging buddy Robert who blogs at Tired of All the Liberal Rhetoric Out There. In it Robert reads the eloquent letter written by a young American soldier, Eddie Jeffers, who later died in Iraq. This letter will bring tears to your eyes, especially the part where Eddie writes that Americans are now the enemy he and his buddies face. Americans like Cindy Sheehan who actively work for defeat in Iraq out of crazed hatred of Bush.

Eddie is generous towards these "Americans", insisting they don't know the impact of their words and actions against the war. But they DO know! They are totally conscious of the aid and comfort their "peace activism" gives to the terrorists and the demoralizing affect it has on our troops. That's what the activists want!

When you hear Eddie's letter you'll not only cry but burn with anger against the traitors among us. Traitors who spit on our troops literally and figuratively, burn them in effigy, and make vile movies portraying them as raping, murdering thugs. I hope that Eddie's poignant words will move you to resist the traitors and fifth columnists working to destroy our nation. You can start by spreading Eddie's message how ever you can. I am; join me.

Rallyin' 'Round McCain

I've been watching the news today which has been all about the New York Times' "expose" of John McCain's allegedly improper relationship with a lobbyist. This story is clearly a hit piece but, much to its chagrin, the New York Times may have handed John McCain just what he needed to rally conservatives to his candidacy.

The Times has always been exhibit A for conservatives' charge of a liberal bias in the media. This attack on McCain not only solidifies that view but also gives McCain more conservative street cred. In the process of condemning this blatant liberal smear conservatives are finding themselves defending McCain as a candidate. Yes, the New York Times endorsed McCain for the GOP nominee but did so, apparently, just to knock him down. Thus, that initial endorsement shouldn't cause conservatives to continue to shy away from McCain. Now that the Times is bashing the senator from Arizona it's time for even the most sceptical conservatives to give him another look. And here's another reason to support McCain: abortion.

For now the pro-life vote seems to be going primarily to Huckabee, but since he has virtually no chance of being nominated it's time for pro-lifers to switch to McCain. If conservatives care about this issue as much as we say we do there's no other choice. McCain's pro-life record is nearly pristine. Hillary and Obama are pro-choice fundamentalists, Obama going so far as to vote against the Born Alive Act which would've required doctors to save babies who survived abortions rather than letting them die. Obama claimed that saving the babies would put a "burden" on women.

And let's not forget Hillary's and Obama's promise of universal health care. This would almost certainly mean taxpayer funded abortion, even for minors. For me, that's almost as vile as the procedure itself. Under no circumstances will my tax dollars go to pay for someone else's abortion, especially that of a minor. Other conservative pro-lifers feel the same I'm sure. Yet many of them continue to back a sure loser in Huckabee or, like Ann Coulter, say they'll vote Democrat if McCain is the GOP nominee, not caring what impact that will have on the unborn.

We pro-lifers must rally around McCain. We and the conservatives outraged by the Times' tabloid journalism could give him the edge he needs to win. The defense of the nation as a whole and of the unborn in particular depend on a McCain victory. Hillary and Obama stand in opposition to both tasks. If we care about these causes as much as we say we do then McCain has to be our man, like it or not.

Our Time In The Wilderness

We conservatives are in a funk. Many of us feel that no matter who wins the election in November we and our beliefs will be cast aside like used Dixie cups. President McCain would be more sympathetic to at least some of our concerns than President Hillary or President Obama, but most conservatives feel that even McCain won't give us a seat at the table. In fact, many of us hate and fear McCain as much as we do Hillary. So, what are our options? What are we to do? I'll offer a humble suggestion.

Even if McCain wins we conservatives will be put into what I'm calling a time in the wilderness. We will be out of power but that could be a blessing in disguise, if we use our wilderness years right. And how do we do that? First, we must stop our pity party. Our time in the wilderness will be fruitless if all we do is sulk, pout, and whine. Rather, we must use those years to regroup, reevaluate, and reflect. We must build on our successes and strengths but also face our failures, weaknesses, and mistakes with unflinching honesty. Our biggest mistake, I believe, was relying on political power alone to uphold and advance conservatism. We believed that if we could just elect the right people we'd convert the culture but we were wrong. And the faith we put in politics has cost us dearly. While we were consumed with winning elections our children became more and more steeped in an increasingly liberal, neo-pagan culture scarcely impacted by our political "victories".

Think about it. Reagan took office for the first time in 1980. The infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from then are the young voters swooning over Obama now. The children of the conservative "revolution" are today worshipping one of the most liberal presidential candidates in recent history. They are eager to accept surrender in war and socialism at home. These are our children! And we didn't see it coming. We didn't see the continuing liberalization of the culture and that culture's influence on our kids. We didn't see that that would bode ill for our cause. We failed and failed big time. This is one of the unpleasant things we must ponder during our wilderness stay.

We were blinded by might. We won all the elections but didn't realize we lost the culture and even, I think, our personal conviction to a degree. Much of our society's continued slide into liberalism during our "revolution" was fueled by us. Some where along the way we decided we didn't have to live out conservative values in our personal lives because Reagan was president and Gingrich was Speaker of the House and that solved everything. So it was ok to keep sending our children to anti-conservative, anti-Christian, and anti-American public schools. It was ok to keep consuming Hollywood's largely degenerate fare. It was ok to "forgive" immoral pastors and to keep attending their churches. Conservatives held the reins of political power; nothing else was needed.

Hopefully, during our stay in the wilderness, we conservatives will not just admit our error but plan bold strategies to overcome it. Hopefully we'll realize that to advance our philosophy we must have a cultural foundation as well as a political one. We must invade the turf--academia, media, Hollywood--controlled by our foes and use their weapons against them. We must speak our truth to the culture using our opponents' language. And we must stop handing our children over to the other side on the proverbial silver platter. This is what we must do during the wilderness time that is coming. And onced we're refreshed and renewed we'll win again!

Shock And Horror

I am still in shock over the mass murder that took place yesterday on the campus of Northern Illinois University (NIU). I'm also angry. Why do people do such heinous things? And not just do them, but then kill themselves so they won't face justice. The NIU gunman, identified as a former student at the school, was a coward. He gunned down over 20 helpless, unarmed people then shot himself. I hope the bastard is burning in a hell so hot that even the devil himself couldn't stand it. May God have NO mercy on his soul!!!!

A Question For Conservatives

Well, it's all but official. After winning the primaries that were held yesterday, McCain is a virtual shoo in for the Republican nomination and a lot of conservatives are pissed about it. Most of them who voted in yesterday's elections went for Huckabee, apparently believing he is the "real" conservative. Yet Huckabee's conservative credentials aren't 100%, just like McCain's.

On the issue of illegal immigration, for instance, Huckabee is problematic. Yes, he signed Numbers USA's "No Amnesty" pledge, but as Arkansas governor he gave in state college tuition to the children of illegals, saying famously that we shouldn't punish children for the crimes of their parents. And in a speech before Hispanic leaders Huckabee "joked" about Whites soon becoming a minority. And he believes in what I call atonement politics, saying that leniency toward illegals is America's atonement for slavery. Exactly how being indulgent to illegal Hispanics atones for the enslavement of Blacks he hasn't explained. Maybe Huckabee thinks one group of non-Whites is interchangeable with another.

With conservatives' anger at McCain's liberal position on illegal immigration you'd think they'd be just as outraged at Huckabee, but they're not. Could Huckabee's status as a former preacher be the reason? Most of the conservatives who've voted for him are Evangelicals. They propelled Huckabee to victory in Iowa and their low numbers in more secular states helped to ensure his defeat there. Perhaps, for these people, Huckabee's distasteful record on illegal immigration policy is palatable because it's wrapped in Christian garb. You know, the language of atonement.

Yes, Huckabee has some good ideas. I love his plan to abolish the IRS! But McCain has some good ideas, too. More importantly, he has a much better chance of winning against both Hillary and Obama than Huck does. Conservatives have no excuse for forgiving Huckabee's deviations from pure conservatism while crucifying McCain for his. I understand commitment to principle but, sadly, principle is compromised in virtually every election. Whatever side you're on you're never going to get everything you want in a candidate. Therefore, the question all voters face is, what will we get for our compromise? If conservatives vote for McCain the answer is a damn good chance for Republicans to keep the White House and for America to win in Iraq. If conservatives vote for Huckabee or, God forbid, Hillary or Obama, what they'll get for their compromise is socialism at home and surrender on all fronts abroad.

The right choice is clear to me.

Here We Go Yet Again!

It's happening again. Some offended homosexuals have filed a legal complaint to stop someone from disagreeing with their lifestyle.

This latest gay attack on freedom of religion and speech is occurring in New Mexico where Christian photographer Elaine Huguenin refused to photograph a lesbian couple's "commitment ceremony". The couple then lodged a complaint with New Mexico's Human Rights Division which is now trying Mrs. Huguenin's business, Elane Photography, under the state's anti-discrimination laws. One of the things the lesbian plaintiffs want is an injunction permanently revoking Elane Photography's right not to photograph gay ceremonies. This is insane!

I've had enough with liberal gays attacking the freedoms of others, especially Christians, in pursuit of their agenda. Clearly, they want a world where any questioning of their views is illegal. That's Stalinism and we must not stand for it. Elaine Huguenin was perfectly within her rights to refuse to promote anything that conflicted with her religious beliefs. That's what freedom of religion/conscience means.

Left-wing gays need to realize that Christians don't answer to them. They need to realize that they have no right to force every institution in society to parrot their party line. The notion that it's hate to disapprove of homosexuality and call it sin is opinion, not truth. No one is obligated to believe that opinion, let alone live their lives by it. Elaine Huguenin cannot be compelled to promote a cause with which she disagrees. Neither can any other American. There's still freedom of conscience in this country. Stalinist gays need to stop trying to take this freedom from others and concentrate on using it for themselves. They just might find that their cause will be better served for it.

Get A Grip! Part 2

Ok all you McCain haters, now that Romney's officially out of the race you're gonna have to put down your knives and support McCain. Face it, he's the only hope the Republicans have of keeping the White House. Even if you have to hold you nose to support the senator from Arizona you have to support him. The good of the nation depends on it.

Please don't give me that line that McCain's not a real conservative. We don't need him to be a "real" conservative, we just need him to be more conservative than his Democratic rivals. And what is a "real" conservative anyway? Someone who's strong on border security? Ronald Reagan signed an amnesty bill in the '80's. Guess he's not a "real" conservative, then. Is a "real" conservative someone who's tough on terrorism? Reagan pulled out of Lebanon after the bombing of the Marines' barracks, and he traded arms for hostages after saying he wouldn't negotiate with terrorists. Reagan rarely attended church while in office but Nancy, his wife, did consult astrologers, in violation of Biblical doctrine. So just how conservative was dear Ronny?

Yes, Reagan stood up to the tyranny of communism and won the Cold War. He also cut taxes and paved the way for the welfare reform that Bill Clinton reluctantly signed into law in the '90's. But, as I pointed out above, Reagan's conservative credentials weren't infallible. He did things that some people could use to call his conservatism into question. Would McCain trade arms for hostages? Would he cut and run from a fight after the first attack? I don't think so. Reagan did both, yet he's admired almost like a god by today's conservative faithful.

I say we should give McCain a chance. Some of his views are not to our liking but there's no telling how he might distinguish himself in the national and international crises that are sure to come. Who knows. Ten or twenty years after McCain's presidency conservatives might be worshipping him as the epitome of "real" conservatism, and forgetting all about his amnesty for illegal aliens. Just like they now do with Reagan.

Get A Grip!

Well, Super Tuesday has come and gone and, just as I expected, John McCain has emerged as the GOP front runner, winning more than half of the delegates needed to secure the Republican nomination. And also as I expected, conservatives are going crazy. I have tell my fellow right-wingers: Get a grip! I understand why so many of you are suspicious of McCain; he's not my first choice, either. But the fear and hatred of him is getting irrational. When Ann Coulter says she'll vote for Hillary--Hillary!--if McCain gets the nomination you know that conservatives are in danger of losing it--and I'm not talking about the election.

Yes, McCain's position on some key issues is big time wrong, but the American Conservative Union (ACU), the nation's oldest conservative lobbying organization, gives McCain an 82% lifetime conservative voting rating. I admit that 82% isn't 100%, but it IS a tad bit higher than the 9% rating for Hillary, no matter what dear Ann says. Look people, McCain has been more consistently pro-life than Romney. He supports gun rights. He believes gay marriage should be decided by the states. He has opposed the expansion of hate crime laws. And, most importantly, he's a hawk on the war on terror. Does that make McCain perfect? No, but it does make him better than Hillary, Obama, or anyone else the Left has to offer.

There's an old saying that conservatives should heed in this uncertain time: Don't let the perfect become the enemy of the good. If McCain is nominated he has a better chance of winning the presidency than Romney or Huckabee. And if Republicans keep the White House conservatives will have a greater chance of having their voices heard with sympathy than if the Dems take the White House. And that's good. We conservatives must not become our own worst enemies by demanding perfection or nothing. We just might end up with nothing.

Black History Month

I hate Black History Month. I know; that's an inflammatory thing for a Black person to say, but it's true. I hate it. Why? Because it's so damned artificial and encourages a culture of grievance among Blacks.

Black History Month (BHM) was started by Dr. Carter G. Woodson for the positive and innocuous reason of educating Americans about the contribution of Blacks to this nation. That's great. But as a child I noticed that all I ever learned about Black Americans during BHM was how oppressed they were. In school and on tv everything centered on the Black struggle to overcome. There was very little teaching about Blacks' actual accomplishments except for the obligatory mentioning of George Washington Carver and Harriet Tubman, the only Blacks who seemed to do something besides struggle to overcome.

And then, after weeks of being practically force fed stories of struggle and hardship--poof!--it was over. March first came and with it a return to "real" history which didn't include an obsession with Blacks. All during February I learned how evil segregation was but once February was over the school went right back to intellectual segregation. This is why I feel that Black History Month is artificial and encourages Blacks to have a perpetual chip on their shoulders.

If Blacks are full Americans and contributed to the development of this country the same as Whites, then their history should be taught the way it actually happened: as an integral part of American history. There should be no instructional apartheid, with a month for Blacks, another for women, yet another for Hispanics, and so forth. And what children learn about Blacks--and other minorities--should highlight their successes and accomplishments as much as their oppression. Children should be taught, for instance, that most Black families were intact, two parent households even at the height of segregation and racism. Therefore, Whites are not to blame for the current disintergration of the Black family.

Absolving Whites of responsibility for the individual and communal ills of Blacks won't be a popular move. Many Blacks like the sainthood that comes with being perpetual victims of Whites. And a lot of Whites take a masochist delight in doing never ending and totally unnecessary penance for the sins of their ancestors. So intergrating Black history into American history and scrapping Black History Month is sure to meet with strong resistance. But that's the only way to underscore both the progress Blacks have made in modern America and the achievements they made in spite of the racism of the past. The American Dream was and is reachable by Blacks who work for it. Understanding that is what learning Black history should really be about.

Showing Their True Face Again

Despite their claims to the contrary, Leftists in this country hate America, her leaders, and her military. The city council of Berkeley, CA, revealed said hatred when it voted 6-3 to tell the Marines, who have a recruiting office in the city, that they are "uninvited and unwelcomed intruders". The council also encouraged the "anti-war" group Code Pink to hinder the Marines' recruiting efforts by protesting in front of the recruiting office. This is outrageous. And at least one person is trying to do something about it.

Senator Jim DeMint, R-S.C., is drafting legislation to cut over $2,000,000 in federal funds from Berkeley. While acknowledging the Berkeley city council's (BCC) right to free speech the Senator rightly recognized that the council has no right to federal funding of its speech. Bravo Senator DeMint! But he shouldn't expect any of his liberal colleagues to support him. They're not about to chastise the people who's votes they're counting on to get and/or keep their power.

The Left hates America and hates our troops. They are NOT anti-war; they're anti-American and we'd better understand that. The BCC's ruling is just the latest in the Left's long parade of hate-the-troops shenanigans. In March of last year Portland, OR "anti-war" protestors burned a US soldier in effigy. In September of '07 the San Francisco Film Commission refused to allow the Marines to film a recruitment commercial in the city. In the fall of last year Hollywood released a slew of anti-troop movies including Brian de Palma's vile "Redacted" which portrayed American troops in Iraq as raping, murdering thugs. In January of this year the New York Times played on the psycho vet stereotype with a front page story claiming that veterans were committing murder across the land. And just a couple of days ago Code Pink protestors tried to disrupt the Marines' Berkeley recruiting office by chaining themselves to the front door and yelling that the Marines were training kids "to kill babies". It goes on and on.

Never let leftists tell you they're patriotic while committing acts like those mentioned above. Yes, Americans have the right, even the duty, to question and criticize government policy. But there's a huge difference between honest questioning and constructive criticism and rank hatred. There's a huge difference between questioning the way a war is being fought and spreading defeatism in order to aid the enemy. In short, dissent and sedition are two different things. Leftists know this and have chosen sedition, hoping we won't notice. But we do notice and now it's time they heard from us. Their treason must not stand. Sign the petition available at the link below and let the Berkeley city counci and all leftists know just how we patriots feel about their attack on our finest!

McCain Wins Florida

Senator John McCain has won the Republican Florida primary and the endorsement of Rudy Giuliani who left the presidential race after coming in a distant third in the Sunshine state. I hope McCain's victory will bring unity and focus to Republicans who have been splintered this entire election cycle. As he emerges as the front runner those GOP voters who're sceptical of some of McCain's views should rally around him nonetheless for the good of the party and the country. Otherwise the Democrats will when the White House and impose their severly left-wing agenda on our society. Allowing that to happen in the name of ideological purity would be unforgivable. If McCain continues to lead the pack after Super Tuesday he should become the candidate for all Republicans. He needs us all to ensure a Republican presidency, which will be the best thing for America.

Why Just This Cause?

First, I want to say that I'm pro-life. I'm not critcizing the activists who marched for life in cities across America yesterday, the 35th anniversary of the tragic Roe v. Wade decision. But the protests on that historic date got me thinking about a question that's been in the back of my mind for a while. Why don't conservatives protest like that for our other beliefs?

Conservatives do care about a whole range of issues. We want a strong defense. We support school prayer. We oppose gay marriage. We're the backbone of the fight against illegal immigration. And, of course, we're pro-life. As individuals we can be passionate about all of these causes. But the only one that consistently gets conservatives into the streets en masse is the cause for life. Why?

Liberals take to the streets in support of all of their varied causes; we don't. In 2006, for instance, illegal aliens and their liberal enablers massed in the streets demanding "their" rights. Counterdemonstrations by conservatives were always embarrassingly small, when they occurred at all. Polls showed that most Americans opposed amnesty for illegals and wanted tough border security, but the streets were filled only with those who supported illegal immigration. I was dismayed, to say the least. And it's the same story with other hot button issues such as gay marriage, the Iraq War, and global warming. Liberals are in the streets; we are at home.

I have no clue why we conservatives are such stay-at-home "true believers" on every cause except saving babies from abortion. I do know that this has to change. While mass demonstrations don't always accomplish the changes they seek, they DO powerfully communicate resolute committment to those changes on the part of the demonstrators. And that's not something the powers that be are quick to forget. We conservatives, then, had better get over our shyness about demonstrating in support of all our causes, or else get used to our creeping irrelevance.

Introducing: Seane-Anna!

Hey blogging friends! Perhaps because it's a new year I've been feeling the change bug. I've already changed the template for my blog Hammer Folk Woman--and may change it again!--and want to change things on all the others, too. Until I do I have decided to change my display name, the name I "sign" my posts with. From now on, instead of PoorGrrl at the end of my posts you'll see Seane-Anna. Don't worry, it's still me. I just wanted something different.

Why Seane-Anna? Well, Seane (pronounced Shawn) is what my family calls me. It's my nickname, derived from my middle name. Of course, I don't actually spell my nickname Seane. I got the idea for that spelling from remembering that in French adding a silent "e" to the end of some male names feminizes them. Thus, Michel because Michele, Jean becomes Jeane, as in Jeane d'Arc, aka Joan of Arc. See, I was paying attention in French class! So I took the Irish male Sean and made the feminine Seane, sort of a Gaelic/Gaulic hybrid. Hehe!

And Anna? That's a corruption of my first name which has been mispronounced and misspelled all my life. Anna, with both A's pronounced like the "a" in father, was the prettiest such corruption, courtesy of some Bosnian refugees I used to work with. They couldn't say my name right but at least they gave it a melodic Slavic twist. And I now pay tribute to them.

So that's how I came up with Seane-Anna. From now on PoorGrrl will just be part of my blog's title. If you want to address me call me Seane-Anna. After all, that's who I really am.

The Church Of Black Racism?

With Barack Obama's win in the Iowa caucus and his decent second place finish in New Hampshire he is poised to finally get the kind of scrutiny that's dogged the other presidential candidates from day one. One of the things that I hope more people will pay attention to is the teachings of Obama's church, Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC).

I myself knew nothing of Obama's church until a few days ago while conversing with my friend Robert who blogs at Tired Of All The Liberal Rhetoric Out There. Robert has a link in one of his posts to TUCC's website where the church's philosophy is laid out. I was struck by how race conscious and liberal that philosophy is.

Straight away we're told that the TUCC congregation "is Unashamedly Black...an African people [who] remain 'true to our native land'". Further, we're informed in the church's 10 Point Vision that TUCC has "a non-negotiable committment to Africa" and to "the Historical Education of African People in Diaspora". TUCC also is committed to "Liberation" and to "working towards Economic Parity." Black liberation theology is the order of the day at TUCC, but not to worry. We're assured in the church's Talking Points that "African-centered thought, unlike Eurocentrism, does not assume superiority and look at everyone else as inferior." Oh. So racism is a problem of White people only. So much for Paul's teaching that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

This is Barack Obama's church, people. Imagine if a White, conservative, Republican candidate for dog catcher, let alone president, belonged to a church that boasted it was unashamedly White, with a non-negotiable committment to Europe and to educating European people. A church that pushed a White Value System calling for, among other things, support for White businesses and the White family. The outcry would be deafening. As it stands, the silence of White and Black liberals on TUCC's questionable teachings is what's deafening.

Barack Obama has often proclaimed his Christianity in order to enhance his appeal to certain constituencies. He has said he's proud of his Christian faith. It's time we took a closer look at the kind of Christianity he practices. If it's the kind that says it's ok for Blacks, but not Whites, to be racialist; that rejects patriotism; that embraces socialism, then we don't need to elect Obama to the most powerful political office not only in America but in the world.

Ask yourself: do you really want a president whose first allegiance--after God, that is--is to Africa, not America? A president who revels in his membership in a racialist church? A president who believes in different standards for Whites and Blacks? A president who supports wealth distribution, i.e. socialism? How would these beliefs play out on the world scene?

How, for instance, would a president who believes that socialism is mandated by the Bible react to a UN proposal to tax rich nations? Can a president whose cultural, racial, and religious allegiance is NOT to this country be trusted to protect America's sovereignty? What about the war against radical Islam? Can it be fought vigorously by a president religiously predisposed to give non-Whites the benefit of the doubt? These are questions we must ask so long as Obama remains a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

In America we rightfully don't have a religious test for those seeking public office, but that doesn't mean citizens can't question where a candidate's religious beliefs may take this nation. And if those beliefs run counter to the obligations of the office the candidate should NOT be put in that office. Based on its own website some of the key teachings of Barack Obama's church are at odds with the obligations of the office of president. Consequently we must be EXTREMELY wary of making Obama our chief executive. A Black racist is no better than a White racist, especially in the Oval Office.

Happy New Year!!!

I can't believe it. In just a few hours it'll be a brand new year. I wish all my blogging buddies a blessed and prosperous 2008. May the upcoming year also bring blessings, prosperity, and the peace of victory to this nation we all love. Happy New Year friends!

Operation Candlelight

As we approach the changing of the year I've been thinking about the future of conservative thought in America. Although I want to be optimistic I feel conservatives--all those who believe in traditional values, really--are coming in for some hard times in the new year. My gut is telling me that the Left is poised for a comeback in '08. The mainstream media has convinced the majority of Americans that Iraq is a hopeless mess and I suspect they'll vote accordingly, i.e. Democrat, in the upcoming presidential election.

And Americans seem to be leaning leftward on issues besides Iraq. A majority approve of universal health care, support for capital punishment is waning, and though voters rejected gay marriage in various state referendums in 2004, opposition to it is declining. All and all I fear the next several years, not just 2008, bode ill for right-wingers. But facing that bleak scenario has made me start thinking again about something that's been in the back of my mind for a while. How do we spread conservatism in America?

I think conservatives, religious and secular, have put too much emphasis on politics. Winning elections is important but it doesn't guarantee that people will adopt our values. We must convince people of the truth of conservatism rather than assuming that election victories will make converts out of them. We are in a culture war and our side is losing. I once heard someone say that this war won't be won by those who tell the truth but by those who tell the best stories. And therein lies our opportunity.

No, I'm not saying that we should tell a bunch of entertaining lies to sell our worldview. I AM saying that we must use the transmitters of culture to fight a culture war. What are the transmitters of culture? They are everything a people uses to teach their way of life to the next generation. Language, the family, churches, schools, entertainment, newspapers, even blogs are all transmitters of culture. And outside of the family the most powerful transmitter of culture is entertainment. Liberals have understood this for at least a generation and have brilliantly used entertainment to advance their cause. Conservatives, unfortunately, have been asleep at the wheel.

Weaving an idea, belief, or point of view into a compelling story is one of the best ways to "evangelize" it to the public. Conservatives do know this and have been calling liberals on this practice for years. I can remember conservative groups bemoaning the content of television way back in the '70's. We have been excellent in cursing the darkness. What we've failed miserably at is lighting candles.

It's time to stop wringing our hands over anti-Christian and anti-American movies, violent video games, and sexed up tv shows and start producing better entertainment. We need to criticize by creating, as Chuck Colson put it. Conservatives need to take the entertainment industry by storm and start creating the best books, movies, tv shows, music, and video games on the market. I call this "revolution" Operation Candelight or OC. But how would this revolution actually work? Let's use tv as an example.

There are lots of cops shows on tv. What if, on one of those shows, the detectives had to solve the murder of a pastor who was the victim of a hate crime perpetrated by a militant gay activist? Or how about a drama with a morally traditional character who's a good guy? Why not have a prolife teenager, portrayed sympathetically, show up on one of the night time teen soaps? I know, today's tv writers would never write such episodes. But that's where the talented, conservative OC revolutionaries would come in. They would write those tv episodes, and lots more.

They would write, produce, and direct movies that show conservatives and moral traditionalists in a positive light. They'd write novels that sympathetically depict another side to issues that have, for far too long, been seen only from the left-wing perspective. And they'd do the same for plays, music and even video games.

Imagine a film about a family being persecuted for homeschooling. Imagine a young adult novel about teens fighting communism in Hungary's 1956 uprising. Imagine a video game where the hero fights for freedom against the global caliphate. Imagine a hard rock song glorifying our troops' skill and bravery in the Battle of Fallujah. Imagine. Imagine. But none of these things will be delivered to us by those now dominating the entertainment industry. It will take talented and committed conservative artists to get our worldview into the public imagination. It will take Operation Candlelight.

To our shame and our culture's detriment we conservatives have left the arts and entertainment to the liberals for too long. We are as creative, artistic, and talented as the leftists now controlling the media. It's time we regained our confidence and showed it. We must take back what once belonged to us. Are you ready for the revolution?

Merry Christmas From Me And Robert!

Hello blogger friends! On behalf of myself and Robert* I'm wishing all of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! And while I have your attention I'd like to share with you a little Christmas humor from my hometown newspaper. The paper ran a contest called Cracked Carols where folks had to write their own version of popular Christmas carols. Most of the winners wrote about purely local issues but one Cracked Carol has mass appeal. Everyone can relate to it. It's titled, "Dangerous Toys" and it's sung to "My Favorite Things" you know, that song from "The Sound of Music". I know, it's not technically a Christmas carol but, as my paper said, deal with it!

Dangerous Toys

Magnets in Batman
that lodge in tots' tummies.
Drug-covered dots
that the kids think are yummy.
Thomas the Train
with lead paint that destroys.
These are a few
of the dangerous toys.

Curious George
with that smile so beguiling.
Once in kid's mouths
quick for help you'll be dialing.
Easy Bake Ovens that burn and annoy.
These are a few
of the dangerous toys.

When the beads pop,
when the paint peels;
batteries go bad.
We hear of the recall
of dangerous toys
and realize that we've been had.

Chinese toy makers
keep cutting their corners.
For US exports
they ship past our borders.
Into the hands
of our own girls and boys.
Who can't tell the safe
from the dangerous toys.

Parents are tense
as the holidays beckon.
Will government watchdogs
help out, do you reckon?
Or will they fail
to detect and destroy
incoming shipments
of dangerous toys?

When the beads pop,
when the paint peels;
batteries go bad.
We hear of the recall
of dangerous toys
and realize we've been had.

Isn't that funny? I laughed out loud when I first read it. I mean, it's so true. Every parent and every child has had to deal, in one way or another, with toys that disappoint, don't work or are downright dangerous. To put that universal experience to such a classic song was brilliant, in my book. I hope all of you enjoyed this little ditty as much as I did. Again, Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year everybody!!

Bowie and Bing Sing!

I can't believe I found this!!

When I was a child I saw David Bowie and Bing Crosby sing a touching duet of "The Little Drummer Boy" on a Christmas show. I instantly fell in love with it. When I became an adult I'd hear the song on the radio during Christmas but I thought I'd never see the actual skit/duet again. Enter YouTube.

On a whim I decided to look up Bing and Bowie's number on the we've-got-everything video website and was thrilled when I found it. Watching it again almost made me cry. I'd forgotten how poignant Bowie's part in the duet is. And I'd forgotten what a good singer he really was. He fit perfectly with Crosby.

In fact, the contrast between these two singers who couldn't be more different is what gives this video its quiet power. Bing Crosby, the epitome of crooning traditionalism and David Bowie, a gender bending glam rocker, came together in mutual respect and created something that people still want to see over twenty years later. It's sort of parable of the goodwill Christmas is supposed to be about, don't you think?

Anyway, here's Bing Crosby and David Bowie singing "The Little Drummer Boy". I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

A Message To The Troops

Some of you may already know about this, but here's a link where you can send a message to our troops this Christmas: http://www4.army.mil/ocpa/tooursoldiers/post.php. The Post Office won't deliver mail addressed to "any soldier" because of fears of mail related terrorism and of soldiers getting derogatory messges from anti-war activists. So if you want to tell our troops how much you appreciate them click on the above link and pour your heart out. I did.

A Soldier's Silent Night

What can I say?

If you've never heard the poem, "A Soldier's Silent Night", read by Father Ted Berndt with Mannheim Steamroller's poignant, instrumental version of Silent Night playing in the background, well here it is. And if this moving homage to America's fighting men doesn't bring tears to your eyes you've got a heart of pure stone.

Merry Christmas coast guarders, sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines! You're loved and appreciated by more people, here and abroad, than you'll ever know. God Bless you, and thank you for fighting the good fight.

The Sgt Freedom Campaign. Episode 6: Immigration

I found out last night on The O'Reilly Factor that the two burglars shot and killed by American hero Joe Horne were illegal aliens. I was going to write a post about this but then I discovered that my favorite YouTube guy, Sgt. Freedom, had a video about illegal immigration.

I chose to use Sgt. Freedom's video because he tackles this problem with passion and bubba humor. And I don't know about you, but I could use some humor on an issue that makes me boiling mad. So here's Sgt. Freedom offering his unique insights on and solution to the illegal alien problem. Enjoy.

Joe Horne: Hero

By now most people know who Joe Horne is. In case you don't he's the Houston guy who shot and killed two burglars breaking into his neighbor's home. Mr. Horne is now waiting to see if any charges will be filed against him. And race has become a factor. Mr. Horne is White and the thugs he killed were Black and that doesn't sit well with the new Black Panthers and others who rallied outside Horne's home today.

I wish Blacks would get as upset about Blacks committing crime as they do about Whites shooting Blacks committing crime. As a Black person I'm fed up with the acceptance by many in my community of criminal behaviour by our males. I reject the prevalent belief that Black crime is the fault of White people and/or White society. The men who broke into Joe Horne's neighbor's home chose to do it. Whitey didn't make them. And now they've paid for their choice with their lives. Perhaps if there was less mourning for criminals by Blacks, and more disgust instead, fewer of our young men would choose lives of crime.

But even without the race angle many bleeding hearts would be outraged at Joe Horne's act. They already hate guns and no doubt view Mr. Horne as a gun-wielding vigilante. He had no right to make himself judge, jury, and executioner. While I agree that people can't be allowed to take the law into their own hands, I fiercely oppose the notion that crime should be a risk-free venture. Policemen, soldiers, and firemen all face risks inherent to their jobs, but criminals don't have to? Puh-leeze!!!

Criminals should realize that their "career" carries the very real risk of death. Thugs should know that they have no right to expect non-resistance from the normal folks they terrorize. The two creatures gunned down by Mr. Horne would still be alive if they'd chosen work over burglary. So the ultimate responsibility for their deaths lies with them, even if they were Black. And that's why I say Joe Horne is a hero.

It Makes One Wonder Just Where Are We Going

Hey friends! I'd like to introduce you to a new guest writer for PoorGrrl Zone. His name is Robert and below is his first post for PGZ. I recently posted as a guest writer on his blog Tired Of All The Liberal Rhetoric Out There. Robert writes in blue on his blog. I was going to put his post in blue on PGZ but I can't figure out how to do it. So, for now, Robert's post(s) will be in italics to distinguish them from mine. I try to read Robert's blog everyday. I like what he says and I like the way he says it. I hope you will, too.

It Makes One Wonder Just Where Are We Going

by Robert

I have been listening to the news lately and this post has nothing really to do with politics, or Democrats, or Republicans. I just want to ask everyone: just where is this country heading?

On the news here in Indiana, over the past few days, has been a story of a couple who beat their infant girl to death with a belt. And in the weeks preceeding her death they tortured her. Now here comes my question again. Just where are we going? What is wrong with our country when we have parents torturing their little children and then killing them with a belt?

The story went to trial today, with the parents going to court over this. It seems that Child Protective Services are the ones that really screwed up here. Months ago these two parents were hauled in for abuse on the little girl and the government took her away from them, only to give her back later. NOW SHE IS DEAD!!! I hope the parents get the most the law will give, with no chance of parole. Period! Killing that little girl was totally uncalled for.

What in the heck is the problem with this country?!

Growing up, I don't remember anything aobut parents killing their kids. Now I'm sure that it happened, but I doubt it happened with the intensity it is now. And the problem here people is that this horrible story of an infant's death isn't the only one. There was a story like it out of Georgia, too. I don't know the details on that one but I DO know that we have to get back to the moral and just America of the past and away from the PC crowd that is destroying this country.

We've got to stop believing the drive-by media and start listening to our common sense and our intelligence. We need to listen to our hearts 'cause if we don't this violence that we are seeing will only be the beginning. Our future will be a hell of violence. Mark my words on this, people. If you don't believe me look back over the past few decades and notice the increase of violence to the youngest and most vulnerable in our society. We have to stop it. We must turn to God, or our higher power. Everyone has one. We must look to our conscience and stop the bad we're doing to one another. And always remember, we need God's blessings now more than ever.

God Bless America!
God Bless our Troops with their mission
God Bless my Readers and Listeners

Hey friends. I hope you like Robert's post. It's a tragic subject but one we have to face and ask the question Robert asked. After all, the only people who will save our children and our country is us.

It Snowed!!!

Guess what? It snowed! That's right. In a VERY surprising change of weather big white flakes fell from the sky for about 30 minutes. It was awesome! I'm sure people up north will think, "So what" but here in this part of Texas the white stuff is always greeted with childlike glee. We get so little of it here and hardly ever before January. And what's really weird is that the high was 80 just this past Tuesday. That old saying is true: if you don't like the weather in Texas wait a few minutes. Well, it took 48 hours for a change but it was worth the wait. It SNOWED!!

Hate Crimes Rise By Nearly 8%. Eek!

I saw the headline in my local newspaper this morning. The FBI has revealed that hate crimes rose by almost 8% in 2006, with nearly 8000 bias motivated crimes occurring that year. In response the usual suspects whined their usual tune about America's poor, victimized minorities. But considering there are 300 million people of every race in this country, having less than 8000 bigotry based assaults on either people or property is shining proof of America's great progress toward equality for all. Don't expect the race hustlers to admit that, though.

I oppose the very notion of "hate crimes". Hate crime laws are an attempt to punish people for what they (alledgely) think, not for what they do. They're Orwellian to the core. How do you know what someone was thinking at the moment of the crime? If perp and victim are of different races you could assume racism. But the victim could've just been the easiest target at the moment. And even if a perp deliberately targets a particular group of people it doesn't automatically mean he's acting out of hate. The group might just pose less of a threat to him. He might target illegal aliens, for instance, because they're less likely to call the police and NOT because they're illegal aliens. He might target the elderly because they can offer less physical resistance, NOT because he's got it in for old folks. We need to be VERY careful when we start criminalizing people's thoughts.

Another big problem with hate crime laws is the tougher sentences mandated for hate crimes. I've never understood how being mugged, raped, or murdered is worse when the criminal is a different race, gender, or sexual orientation from the victim. Even if a perp acts out of hate the victim is traumatized by the crime itself, not the thoughts behind it. A rape victim isn't comforted by knowing that she wasn't attacked because she was Black. However, a rape victim might be further traumatized by knowing that her attacker received a lesser sentence because he was an "ordinary" rapist rather than a hate rapist. And then there's murder.

Proponents of hate crime laws and the tougher sentences mandated by them are often the same people who oppose the death penalty. This is highly problematic. How can they insist that hate crimes be punished more severly than "ordinary" crimes yet oppose the severest punishment possible for hate murders? After all, the only way to punish hate murders more severly than "ordinary" murders is to give the death penalty for one and life without parole for the other. Death penalty opponents, naturally, won't support that. The only alternative is to give hate murderers life without parole but "ordinary" murderers less than that. The families of "ordinary" murder victims would NEVER stand for such a diminishing of their loved ones' lives. Life without parole is the lightest sentence for murder, any murder, that most people will accept. So the end result will be that hate murderers and "ordinary" murderers receive the same sentence. How illogical is that?

But hate crimes laws are inherently illogical. I believe they were never meant to protect minorities. Rather, their purpose is to make guilt ridden, self-hating, left-wing Whites feel good about themselves. By championing these laws (and a lot of other things) such Whites seek to separate themselves from and atone for what they see as the entirely criminal nature of their race's interaction with non-Whites. They're trying to tell the non-White world, "Whites have horribly oppressed you but I'm a different kind of White person. I'm really good. Look at what I'm doing for you." If liberal Whites want to assuage their unearned guilt then they should do so, but not at the expense of justice and common sense. A criminal act should get the same punishment regardless of the motive for it. No victim is worth more than another. Isn't that what equality really means?

Correction

I have a correction to make. In my post "Apostles of Anti-Americanism" I wrote that Brian de Palma's movie "Redacted" had already been released. That wasn't the case. I thought that some early screenings I'd heard about were the film's actual showing. In fact, "Redacted" opened nationwide only yesterday, Friday, November 16. Sorry for the mistake.

Apostles of Anti-Americanism

Well, another "anti-war" movie has bombed. "Lions for Lambs", Hollywood's latest offering in the hate America category, flopped big at the box office last weekend. This follows the lackluster performance of earlier America-the-bad films such as "Rendition", "In the Valley of Elah", and Brian de Palma's "Redacted", which many movie theaters won't even show, I hear. More "anti-war" movies are due out next year and Hollywood will lose even more money. But Hollywood is supposed to love money. What's going on here?

Americans won't spend their hard earned dollars to be told they, their country and their military are evil. I believe Hollywood knew that from the beginning. I believe that Americans were never the intended audience for movies like "Lions for Lambs" and the others. No, Hollywood made these films for a GLOBAL audience. Tinsel Town's liberals want to support the rest of the world's anti-US animosity . They want the America haters to be strengthened in they're conviction. They are apostles of anti-Americanism. And they're proud of it.

Of course, if you confronted the Hollywood Left about this they'd deny it. They'd act--act is the operative word--indignant at the very suggestion that they were deliberately helping America's enemies. They're just dissenting, they'd say. They're just asking thoughtful questions, they'd say. Yes, extremely negative images of America are being broadcasted all over the world. Yes, every jihadi will use those images to recruit more fanatics. But that was never they're intention, they'd insist. They love America; really, truly, you gotta believe they do.

Yeah, right. The only thing more insulting than the anti-American movies liberals make is their belief that the rest of Americans are dumb enough to believe their profession of patriotic love. Hey Hollywood, if you're so patriotic why not make a movie about Scott Southworth, an American soldier who adopted a handicapped Iraqi child? Or a movie about baby Mariam who received life saving surgery in the US thanks to our fighting men? Or a film about the Anbar Salvation Front, an Iraqi militia that allied itself with us to destroy Al Queda in Anbar province? Why not make any of those films, Hollywood? I mean, since you love America so much.

Nothing pro-American will ever be made by the Hollywood Left. They are on the side of our enemies. It's like George Orwell said, you can't hamper one side in a war without automatically helping the other side. Brian de Palma, Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, and the rest of the Tinsel Town traitors know that perfectly well. They take their job of aiding their side very seriously. They're playing hardball. It's time for the good guys to play hardball, too.

Question On My Mind

This one is for liberals. If poverty causes terrorism, as many libs assert, then please tell me where are all the Haitian suicide bombers?

Running With The Big Dogs

We all know about the pummeling Hillary Clinton got at the latest Democratic presidential debate. We also know that Hill has tried to bounce back from this debacle by playing the gender card. She was ganged up on by mean ol' men who dared to question her because she's a woman. We can't let that stand, ladies! Defend poor Hillary!! This makes me want to puke. It's a shameless but all too typical example of liberal hypocrisy.

C'mon Hill! You claim to be a strong woman. You insist that women receive equal rights and equal treatment. Apparently, though, you don't know what that means. Well, let me tell you. It means that if you dodge straightforward questions; if you have murky positions on important issues; if you choose to put yourself in the meat grinder that is presidential politics you have to take the hard blows that go with that. Do you think that the territory of politics should change because you're a woman? Isn't that the antithesis to the equality that feminism is supposed to be about?

I cannot imagine Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir whining about some boys' club ganging up on them. They were too busy acutally running their countries and winning wars. Margaret Thatcher took what was meant as an insult and turned it into a distinguished moniker, becoming known worldwide as The Iron Lady. If this latest episode is any indication you, Hillary, are no Iron Lady. So please, either shut up and play the game as is or take the advice of an old saying: if you can't run with the big dogs stay under the porch.

Say It Ain't So, Dog!

Dwayne Chapman, aka Dog the Bounty Hunter, has gotten himself into BIG trouble by saying nigger while on the phone with his son. Apparently, the son in question is dating a Black woman and Dog didn't want the family's occasional use of the slur to be used against them. A recording of the conversation was leaked to the National Enquirer, which led to the story airing tonight on both The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity and Colmes. A&E is suspending it's production of Dog's show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" because of the controversy.

I want to say that as a Black woman I think this incident is being blown out of proportion. Yes, Dog Chapman was full of anger when he said nigger on that phone call. He also used profanity. Why isn't he being raked over the coals for that?

Let's get something straight. Using a racial slur doesn't automatically make you a racist. I've used racial slurs myself, usually when someone of another race pisses me off. If a Hispanic driver grabs the parking space I was waiting for I've been known to say, "Damn wetback!" Does that mean I hate Hispanics? When I watched the movie "Jackass" I thought to myself, "Only white guys could be that stupid." Does that mean I hate Whites? No and no. Using racial slurs is often a crime of passion. No one should be instantly and permanently defined by that.

We live in a time when liberals are keen to prove their belief that America is irredeemably racist and that racism is peculiar to Whites. Dog's unfortunate utterance has given them ammunition to push that belief. The truth, though, is that Blacks say nigger way more than Whites and paid millions to do it. You can't buy a rap album that's not full of nigger this and nigger that. Blacks and liberal Whites are being profoundly hypocritical when they have a meltdown over a White guy saying nigger but give Blacks a pass for saying it.

If we really want nigger to be an unsayable word we've got to stop rewarding Blacks who use it in their "art". Millions of Whites listen to rap music. If they hear their favorite rap singers throwing nigger around like it was a compliment, what are they going to think? Certainly not that nigger is a bad word. It's like a parent telling his kids not to curse while constantly saying the "f" word in front of them. Talk about double messages!

I think Dog Chapman was just angry, like I was when that Hispanic guy stole my parking space. I'm open to the possibility that I could be wrong. Maybe Dog really is a virulent racist and just hid it really well all these years. Maybe having a Black pastor was just a dishonest show. Maybe accepting his brother's Asian wife was just for the cameras. And maybe Dog just lied about his mother being Native American. Maybe, but I don't think so. You're still a good egg in my book, Dog.

Quotable Quotes: On Socialism

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Thomas Jefferson.

Socialism as we understand it didn't exist in Jefferson's day but he obviously had an uncomfortable inkling it was coming. Sadly, it seems that we as a people have decided not to heed this Founder's warning.

"Restoring America's Image"

Hillary Clinton already has a plan for when she's elected president. Quite presumptive of her, considering she hasn't even been elected the Dems' presidential candidate. Anyway, dear Hillary recently announced that, after her election, she'll immediately send emissaries around the world to proclaim the end of "cowboy diplomacy" and restore America's image. How sweet. Not!

"Restoring America's image" sounds great but is just another front in liberals' war against Bush instead of the terrorists who want to kill us. The slogan derives from liberals' persistent delusion that terrorism is caused by the "imperialism" of the Bush administration, beginning with the Iraq War. If we would only surrender in Iraq and sell out the Israelis, liberals believe, the Arab/Muslim world would love us and global utopia would break out. That's the essence of their idea of "restoring America's image": undermine the Bush administration by agreeing with the America haters and appeasing our enemies.

Liberals have conveniently forgotten all the terrorist attacks against America that occurred before Bush was president. The World Trade Center was first attacked in 1993 when Bill Clinton, Hillary's hubby, was president. Our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were also bombed during Clinton's presidency when, presumably, everybody loved America. Many other terrorists attacks were launched against this country in the pre-Bush era, going all the way back to the Iran hostage crisis under wimp-in-chief Jimmy Carter. But that's reality and the anti-Bush psychotics have simply willed reality out of their minds.

Let's be honest. Hillary Clinton and all the other liberals don't give a rat's ass about America's image. The call to restore our image is just a cover for their policy of rabid anti-Bush hatred and anti-Americanism. It's a cover for their sympathy for radical Islam. It's a cover for their defeatism. It's a cover for their internationalism. It's a cover for their socialism. If you vote for liberals this is what you'll get. You've been warned. Now do the right thing and side with those who care about our country's survival. The best image for America is that of a free, intact, sovereign nation. If you want to restore anything, restore that.

GAE Rights Yes, Freedom No

The GAE (Gay Activist Elite) Stalinists have struck again, this time across the big pond. Britain has instituted new sexual "equality" regulations and they have cost a Christian couple the foster son they've loved for two years.

Sixty-five-year-old Vincent Matherick and his wife Pauline, 61, became foster parents in 2001 and have successfully nurtured 28 troubled children since then. But Somerset County decided the Mathericks weren't fit to keep their latest foster child after they refused to sign a paper agreeing to teach the boy that homosexuality is good. Consequently, the 11-year-old has been taken from a loving home and placed in a county hostel. Vincent Matherick explained that he doesn't hate gays but felt he couldn't endorse behaviour that conflicted with the Word of God.
That didn't matter. Freedom of religion and conscience, not to mention a child's happiness, are inconsequential compared to the lofty goal of normalizing homosexuality.

This is a shocking story. There's nothing more Orwellian than government officials entering people's homes and telling them what to teach their children. Granted, the Mathericks were foster parents who, like all foster parents, have to abide by state standards. But how does not approving of homosexuality suddenly make them unfit when they weren't unfit for the last six years? And you better believe that if the GAE Stalinists can get away with using the government to impose their views on foster parents they'll use the government to impose their views on natural parents. Mark my words. The day is coming in the West when parents will be assigned a social worker to make sure they're raising their children "correctly". And a large percentage of those social workers will be GAE.

For now, the Mathericks have been forced out of fostering for being politically incorrect. They've indicated that they might appeal the decision of the Somerset County Council. I pray they do and I pray they win. Children need a loving home like the one the Mathericks are ready and willing to provide more than they need an ideology. Sadly, Britain's GAE Stalinists think otherwise and children are paying the price.

Predators and Traitors

Peace activists are anti-military. No matter how much they claim otherwise, these people hate our troops and the country they fight for. I was reminded of this just yesterday while listening to the radio.

I was driving my Mom to the store when Michael Medved's talk show came on. His guest was a representative of the "anti-war" group Code Pink (CP). Unfortunately, I don't remember the woman's name, but her words are unforgettable. This woman admitted that she and Code Pink, who were trying to close a Marine recruiting office in Berkeley, CA, called our troops predators and traitors. That's right, predators and traitors. That's what the peace crowd thinks of our soldiers.

Michael Medved asked this sorry excuse for an American why she and CP would call our military such names. This woman claimed that the military recruiters were predators because they were going after Berkeley's "vulnerable youth", and that they were traitors because they'd betrayed the trust of said youth by not telling them the whole story about military service. I'm not sure what this woman meant by the "whole story". It's no secret that the military fights wars and that in war people get injured and killed. Young people who are or might be considering joining the armed forces already know that. So where's the betrayal of trust?

Of course, this isn't the first time liberals have shown their hatred for America's finest. "Anti-war" protestors in Oregon--I believe it was Oregon--burned an American soldier in effigy. Brian de Palma has made a movie protraying our troops in Iraq as a bunch of raping, murdering thugs. Cindy Sheehan referred to our boys, including her own son Casey, as murderers. Rosie O'Donnell insinuated that our troops are terrorists who've killed nearly a million Iraqis. Susan Sarandon and her lover Tim Robbins made similar accusations. And let's not forget the entire city of San Francisco which has banned ROTC from its schools, denied the USS Iowa the right to dock at its port, and prevented the Marines from filming a recruiting commercial there. But they support the troops, the peaceniks say. Don't you believe it!

Believe what these people say and do when they're on their home turf. Believe what they say and do when they're among like-minded folks who won't question them. Believe what they say and do when they're caught up in the sanctimonious moment of "marching for peace". But don't ever believe them when they say they love our troops. They hate our troops. Remember, they called them predators and traitors. You can't get more hateful than that. Believe me.

Libertinism Uber Alles

I believe liberals want an end to age of consent laws. In fact, I believe liberals want an end to ALL laws regulating sexuality. When I see liberals voting to pass out the Pill to eleven-year-old girls; when I see liberals opposing tough penalties for child rapists; when I see liberals imposing gay marriage on people who've already voted against it, I can come to no other conclusion.

Liberals are libertines. Sexual freedom is their core principle. That, and not respect for women's rights, is the real motive for their love affair with abortion. An instant end to pregnancy gets women back into the all-important game of sleeping around--oops!--I mean hooking up. Likewise, passing out birth control to middle schoolers is not about protecting them from STDs and/or unplanned pregnancy; rather, it's about conditioning adults to accept the "fact" that kids, even quite young ones, can and do consent to sex.

Think about it. How can you give condoms or the Pill to children without tacitly admitting that said children can consent to the activity those items are for? You can't. And once you accept that children can consent to sex, the age of the people they're having sex with becomes irrelevant. After all, if an eleven-year-old can consent to sex with another eleven-year-old, why not with a 15-year-old? Or a 20-year-old? Or a 30-year-old?

I can easily imagine the day when an accused child molester will insist that little Suzy wanted it and use as proof the birth control pills she got from her friendly school nurse. The nurse not only knew that Suzy was sexually active, the molester's lawyer will argue, she condoned the 12-year-old's behaviour by giving her contraceptives, no questions asked. So, if his middle aged client is guilty of a crime, the school nurse is a clear accessory. I don't think you want to be the nurse who'll have to answer that charge.

Liberals will insist that the above scenario is just hysterical, right-wing propaganda against personal freedom. But liberals don't believe in freedom, not when it comes to sex. Then, liberals are pure, unadulterated libertines opposing ALL judgements and restrictions on sexuality. Everyone, including children, must be free to do as they please with their bodies. For liberals this is enlightened, progressive thinking. To the clear thinking masses it's cultural suicide, and it will not stand.

Rain in the Sahara

Last Wednesday the House passed a nonbinding resolution labelling as genocide the killing of 1 million Armenians by Turkey during WWI. On Sunday House Speaker Nancy Pelosi vowed to push forward on the resolution despite bitter protest from Turkey. Now I agree that those murders were in fact genocide. I also believe that they were the last gasp of jihad that Islam could muster before it was subdued by the European powers. I don't believe for one minute, though, that Pelosi wants this resolution because she cares about honoring the Armenian dead or making a statement about the nobility of America (Look! America is condemning genocide. America is good!).

Nancy Pelosi wants the Armenian resolution because she wants to upset our relationship with Turkey. Why? Because Turkey is our staunch ally in the Iraq War, allowing supplies from fuel to water to reach our troops from its soil. If Turkey ends its military relationship with us over this resolution, as it has threatened to do, we'd have to reroute those supplies in ways that could be prohibitively expensive. And if you can't supply an army, it can't fight. Now you're getting the picture.

This whole resolution business is about ensuring defeat in the Iraq War and doing it in a way that normally only our enemies would try: by cutting off supplies to our troops. This makes me sick. In her effort to please her fanatically anti-Bush base, Pelosi is willing to sacrifice our boys. And then she tries to make her dirty work look clean by wrapping it up in specious concern for the memory of slaughtered Armenians. If I were Armenian I'd be outraged at such exploitation of the Armenian nation's greatest tragedy.

If Pelosi, or any other American, wants to oppose the Iraq War they certainly have the right to do so. But they should be patriotic about it and not try to cut our troops' legs out from under them. And they should have the decency not to use another people's tragedy to cover their pro-defeat shenanigans. But expecting patriotism and decency from Pelosi who, after all, hails from San Francisco, is like expecting rain in the Sahara. It ain't happenin'.

No Old Glory for Obama

I was watching tv tonight and just saw a story about Barack Obama that I can't believe. It seems that "patriot" Obama has decided to stop wearing his American flag lapel pin. Why? Obama claimed that he preferred to simply talk about what he wants to do for our country and that would show Americans his inner patriotism. Not buying it. Considering the stranglehold that far-left groups like MoveOn.org and The Daily Kos have on the Democratic presidential candidates, I suspect that some far-left puppet master told Obama to ditch the Stars and Stripes--or else.

Whatever the reason Obama removed the flag pin, it was a big mistake to do it. He can talk all he wants to about showing his patriotism from the inside out, taking off the pin clearly reveals that Obama is uncomfortable with being American. It's like John Kerry claiming, in the '04 presidential campaign, to be a good Catholic while also insisting that he wouldn't wear his faith on his sleeve. Why not? If you're so religious, why would you be reluctant to show it? Likewise, if you're so patriotic, why would you be ashamed to flaunt it?

Of course, I understand that the wearing of symbols--flags, crosses, or whatever--can be a shallow and hypocritical ploy to get votes or win over public opinion, but it can also MEAN SOMETHING. It can reveal where someone's heart is truly at, where his allegiance truly lies.

Maybe Obama really is patriotic, but felt that would hurt his chances with the far-left crowd he apparently thinks he needs to win. So he dropped Old Glory to reassure that constituentcy that he's not TOO American. Or maybe the opposite is true. Maybe Obama is an anti-American American and dumped the flag because he was tired of not acting in sync with his true feelings.

I don't know what really motivated Obama to do what he did. I do know that his action won't help liberals repair their bad reputation on patriotism. Surely Obama knows that. I guess that was a price he was willing to pay to make whatever statement he was trying to make. All I can say is, "Thanks, Obama, for giving us conservatives the rope with which to hang you!"

Finding the Truth in People Magazine

Sometimes the truth jumps out at you from places where you least expect it and it can be pretty jarring when it does. That's what happened to me today as I was browsing through the magazines in Walgreen's.

I'd picked up this week's--October 8--issue of People and was casually flipping through its pages when I came across a review for the movie "The Kingdom". Now you know that liberals always insist that they support the troops and act indignant when their patriotism is questioned. But often their true feelings slip out in spite of themselves, and that's what happened in People.

I haven't seen "The Kingdom" (TK), but it must really be a good movie because People's movie reviewer Leah Rozen gave it three out of four stars. However, she mixed some revealing criticism in with the praise. While calling TK "a gripping action-thriller", "smart", and "exciting", Rozen also complained that the movie had "a hyperheroic Hollywood...ending" and that it "pander[ed] to [Americans'] most jingoistic instincts". What was it about "The Kingdom" that so upset Rozen? Apparently, the movie was too pro-American. That's right.

In "The Kingdom" the Americans, at least the FBI team that's sent to Saudi Arabia, are the good guys, and they kick terrorist ass in a way that had the audience cheering, Rozen admits. That was too much for her. She must've been in a tizzy about how to review the movie. Intellectual honesty apparently forced Rozen to give "The Kingdom" a good rating, but she threw in her disclaimers as a sop to her liberal reading audience. It was as if she were saying, "Ok guys, I have to admit that "The Kingdom" is a good movie, but I want you to know that I didn't fall for all its pro-American stuff."

Rozen's review revealed the corrupt version of "patriotism" that prevails among today's liberals. Routing for America is "hyperheroic". Cheering when America destroys her enemies is "jingoism". For liberals such things are BIG no-nos. Therefore, since they can't route FOR America the only option left is to route AGAINST America, which liberals do with relish. Whether it's Harry Reid declaring the Iraq War lost, Cindy Sheehan calling America evil, or Sean Penn cozying up to America-hating dictator Hugo Chavez, liberals have declared war on their own nation. They consider their self-hatred and investment in defeat as a "sophisticated" form of patriotism. Real patriotism--loving America, defending her, routing for her to win--is disavowed as racist, militarist, imperialist or, as Rozen put it, jingoist. The truth slipped out. And you thought People printed only fluff.

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

I'm waiting. It's been three days since Iran's president Ahmedinejad spoke at Columbia University (CU) and declared that there're no homosexuals in Iran, and I'm still waiting for the homosexual/liberal/feminist protest machine to pour its foot soldiers into the streets in rage.

How many times have gays and their liberal and feminist allies angrily marched against their fellow Americans who happen to be moral traditionalists? Americans who don't support gay marriage or gay adoptions, for instance, but who also would never and have never harmed a gay person even verbally, let alone executed one. Yet Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of a country that DOES execute gays, is invited to speak at one of America's most prestigious universities, and the overwhelming majority of those who oppose him are Jews rightly outraged by Ahmadinejad's pledge to eradicate Israel.

Where was the campus gay alliance? Or the gay student union? Where were the campus' feminist groups? Where were the student Democrats? Where were all the liberal campus groups who would've been out in force if Pat Robertson, Ann Coulter, or Condaleeza Rice had spoken at CU, assuming they would've been invited?

Apparently, liberals' hatred for Bush is so virulent, so irrational, that they're willing to make common cause with an anti-gay, anti-Semitic, anti-woman Muslim fanatic just to embarrass the
president. And "make common cause with" is the only way I can describe liberals' deafening silence in the face of Mahmoud's hateful ramblings. This is a sad and sick state of affairs, indeed. Embracing the tyrant is more agreeable to liberals than admitting that the Right is right about Ahmadinejad, and the whole war on radical Islam, too.

I'm sure liberals will be incensed at my opinion. "We don't support tyrants!" they'll yell. "We haven't sold out our values!" they'll scream. "We're patriotic, too!" they'll throw in for good measure. I'm not buying it. If liberals want to prove they haven't sold their soul to the Muslim devil in exchange for a chance to jab Bush, they should start their protests now. They know how to do it. I'm waiting.

Toby Keith - American Soldier

Hey you liberal, America hating, Hollywood scum! Here's a piece of REAL patriotism from an artist who gets it. You might want to look at this video before trying to pass off your troop-smearing movies as patriotic. And while you're at, check out Frank Capra's "Why We Fight" series to educate yourselves on Hollywood's forgotten pro-American past.

Invitation to Evil

I don't know how much longer I can stomach liberals. When they're not making movies slandering our troops they're inviting America-hating tyrants to propagandizing on our campuses.

It was bad enough when Harvard allowed Iran's former president Ayatollah Khatami to speak there last year. Now Columbia University has invited current Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadenijad--I don't know if I spelled that right and I don't care--to speak on its campus. Just how low can liberals go?

Liberals are defending this outrage by playing the free speech card. If we don't allow Ahmadenijad to speak, they say, America will look hypocritical in the eyes of the world. Instead, we should give Iran's top Holocaust denier a prestigious platform for his venom and show him and the world what a tolerant nation we are. Gag me!!!

Iran and the rest of the world already know that America is a tolerant nation with freedom of speech for all. As I mentioned above, a former Iranian president spoke at Harvard just last year. The Iranians understand our freedoms; that's why they exploit them so well. Ahmadenijad will use his visit to Columbia University to portray himself as a reasonable man of peace. It will be a propaganda boon to him and his regime. The idea that dear Mahmoud will return to Iran a changed man after getting baptized in the light of America's freedom is ludicrous, yet liberals believe it passionately.

Why are liberals always so willing to embrace America's enemies? Why do they jump at the chance to give them a stage for their anti-American views? Why do they have such faith in their goodwill, yet are loathed to give the benefit of the doubt to their own leaders? The short answer is because liberals, too, hate America. In fact, that's the only answer.

Quotable Quotes: On Liberals

"[C]ontrarianism is creativity for the untalented." Dennis Miller, on The O'Reilly Factor, Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, describing the treasonous liberals who are desperate for an American defeat in Iraq and the larger war on terror. Great line!

This Tragic Day

Today is the 6th anniversary, to the day, of the horrific Islamic terrorist attacks on America. With the country divided like it hasn't been since the Vietnam War, I plead with all patriotic Americans to stop and remember what really happened six years ago.

On this day in 2001 liberals weren't attacked. Conservatives weren't attacked. Christians weren't attacked. Atheists weren't attacked. Blacks weren't attacked. Whites weren't attacked. Men weren't attacked. Women weren't attacked. Straights weren't attacked. Gays weren't attacked. The poor weren't attacked. The rich weren't attacked. What happened on September 11, 2001 is that AMERICANS were attacked.

Nineteen Islamic terrorists targeted all Americans when they hijacked those planes and flew them into the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. The terrorists were telling us that they hated ALL of us. They didn't try to divide their victims by color, gender, class or any other category that, sadly, so many Americans are obsessed with. No, the nineteen Muslim murderers hijacked planes and destroyed them with no concern for which Americans were on them.

We must remember. REMEMBER!!!! On 9/11 we were attacked as a single nation. We must defeat, indeed, we can ONLY defeat the killers as a SINGLE nation! And it WAS Islamic killers who committed this horrendous act. The troglodytes spouting hateful, anti-American conspiracy theories are servants of our enemies. They are fifth columnists working for America's defeat. They must be defeated as thoroughly as the Islamic militants who still want to kill us.

On September 11, 2001 the worst happened to this country, and we responded with the best. Firemen rushed into buildings that people were running out of. People filled the churches to pray for strength and guidance. Firemen carried a gay chaplain out of the rubble with no concern that he was gay. Americans of every race, class, religion, sexual orientation, and national origin declared they were Americans first, and the other things second. The best poured out of us because, as Alexis de Tocqueville said over a hundred years ago, America is great because America is good.

America is good!!!! That's something else we must remember this tragic day. We did nothing to cause the terrorists to attack us. Our foreign policy isn't to blame. Our freedom isn't to blame.
Our support for Israel isn't to blame. The only things to blame for 9/11 are the terrorists and their religion. Remember that, my fellow Americans. Remember the horror. Remember the death. Remember the Fallen, who suffered unimaginable anguish as they perished. Remember America, remember. Then ask God to have mercy on our enemies, because we won't.

Quotable Quotes: On War

"We are going to kill [the] German bastards. I would prefer to skin them alive but, gentlemen, I fear some of our people at home would accuse me of being too rough." Gen. George S. Patton.

Substitute "Muslim" for "German" and this is what we should be saying in our war against jihad but, alas, political correctness has even more of a strangle hold on Americans now than it did in Patton's time.
